- This episode was originally filmed for my plant channel "onlyplants", but there has been demand for updates on this new house since my last tour when it was merely a construction site. In this episode I share the spaces and my thoughts about living sensibly and more sustainably, some of the challenges faced as well as some of the slight remodelling I've done. I am obsessed with living in this tiny little house, that also doubles as a youtube studio and office!

Incredible! I personally couldn’t live in a small place all the time. But this is well thought out and designed. It’s amazing how many plants you have in that small area! I have to say I love the room with the clear ceiling over it. It’s like a mini jungle! I would sit on that balcony every day with my morning coffee. So I just discovered your other channel and I have subscribed to both. I watched the one where you divided up your pink princess and unfortunately many of them died. But your honesty about how things don’t always go perfectly is what got me to subscribe!

Suggest you install anti mosquito screens on all your windows, a mosquito net over your bed, spray insect repellent when you leave the house until all the construction work is completed and all the stagnant ponds drained. You can also grow plants that repel mosquitos such as basil, citronella, rosemary, lavender and lemon balm etc. Stay safe 🙏
Ironically… mosquito screens are actually my dads business 😅

Like watching your video on plants. Are you going to do videos on edible plants like mulberry, gooseberry. Lime etc?
Unfortunately edible plants are not my area of interest, also they are a challenge to grow without a proper yard 🥲

Sean, is it okay for the plants if your plastic roof isn't plastic?? I mean if its like a glass ( kaca tembus pandang ) lol. My house is using glass roof and i dont know if its good or bad for the plants:/
Theres no difference between glass and plastic, however, plastic is much louder when its raining 🥲 and also it will have to be replaced every 10 years or so. Glass is much more durable.

Use a Diffuser with citronella and Lemongrass essential oils to make your home an unattractive place for mosquitoes
Thank you. Yes Im a big fan of essential oils! Sometimes I am too lazy to set them up though… haha. But planting those plants are great too, Ill probably start doing that.
What is the name of the developer of your house? I need to avoid buying a house from that developer.
