Right from the market, I said that the water leaf was small, that’s why the soup turned out a bit dry. For the periwinkle, I usually cut off part of the head along with the tail so I can suck it well without stress. I’m sure the soup tasted delicious in the end. Well done Chef T❤ you are a gem.

Mama Comfort is from Eket Akwa ibom. This is the recipe we cook Afang soup with.its normally thick with no much water in it, just like Edikang ikong. God bless mama comfort.

Can i use spinach instead of water leaf
I do mix my afang with water first

Just a tip, get a microphone with noise cancellation. I did not enjoy the sound.
I personally think water leaves must not be green. They re usually slimmy and I prefer frying them dry
But don't cook the water leaf too long and after cooking I do put the pot of the soup in a bowl of water to prevent further cooking
The water leaves is too small. I don't fry my water leaves as well. Water leaves before the afang as the last ingredient. Well done Mama Comfort.
