Sorry to be gross, but you said in another video that all the cool kids were looking at their poop, so… I tried a small amount of Himalayan salt & mineral drops in a glass of water last night before bed with a Cal/Mag/Zinc supplement (to support my bile production/flow?liver?) & vitamin D3. In the morning, I had apple cider vinegar & vitamin C (ascorbic acid) just before a (late) breakfast sandwich & small salad. That was my case. Loose stools and HCL made it even worse. Thanks for explaining. TUDCA and Beet Flow plus Choline made my digestion normal. HCL is welcome back now!
Can I ask how you took these supplements? I just ordered Beet Flow and I just started taking TUDCA but not sure I am doing this right in order to get my digestion right. I have gallbladder sludge and need to thin out my bile.
@@KatieR1978 I’m taking 2 pills TUDCA on an empty stomach at least 30 min before food. Better if 1 hour. Beet Flow just together with food 🙂 Hope you’ll feel better. Speedy recovery
His explanation failed to mention the obvious: if someone is not producing the best bile to flow down into the small intestines to neutralize the acidic "clump" now entering therein, then why not take a bile capsule or Tudca WITH the meal to compensate for any lack thereof?
The title indicates, "without doing this". Question: Without doing what? The video didn't include the step on how to get the body to neutralize the acid.
I was yelling at the screen the whole video for the same reason. He never said it. Scare tactic. clickbate i guess. All the other vids on this topic didn’t do that and were just as informative.
His videos are like a scheme for a get-rich-quick setup. Only its for acid reflux, and you have to watch 10 of the videos he plugged into this one video for you to realize that you still didn't get any good information to use. 😂
Yeah I think what I got from it is that it may not be good for you. It varies from one person to the next. Guess the only way to find out is to try it. If side effects are felt then stop use.
Well, it's complicated, isn't it? Trial and error, experimentation. Apparently my family has bile acid malabsorption issues (no real test for this in the US)-manifests as diarrhea. I thought I had escaped it until I was in my 40s and thought I'd just gotten food poisoning. Very, very long story short...I have to take cholestyramine (a prescription bile acid binder)-that only helps some. Thru trial and error I also figured out that I have to take digestive enzymes and a pretty significant amount of Betaine HCl also. Once I got the dosage right on the Betaine HCL, my rolling/churning gut quieted down and I started digesting/absorbing food again. I've tried cutting down on the dosage-my poop quality just slowly starts going bad and we are back to diarrhea again.

@@KickItNaturally But I felt that your explanation failed to mention the obvious: if someone is not producing the best bile to flow down into the small intestines to neutralize the acidic "clump" now entering therein, then why not tjust ake a bile capsule or Tudca WITH the meal to compensate for any forthcoming lack thereof at the exit ramp? If the "sizzle" that takes place between the acidic stomach acids and alkaline bile capsule happens in the stomach, then so what? Isn't breaking down the food a little bit more aggressively in the stomach with the introduction of the bile cap just one step ahead of the game before the "clump" makes its exit?
Interesting. I have been working hard on trying to figure out my fat digestion problem. For most of the time, I thought that it was a liver problem, because I couldn't tolerate fat. The fatty meal would sit in the stomach for up to 10 hours. Digestive enzymes helped a bit, but hadn't resolved the problem. Of course, I thought that the stomach function is involved as well. Recently, I suspected more, that it was not making enough acid. And since it potentially didn't make enough acid, the bile production might have not been made to adequate amounts as well. Having gone through the imaging of the abdominal area and the liver and biliary tree looking normal; and liver enzymes that still were not too high- I was not sure what to think. I was forced to pretty much avoid all fat for the most part. Having ruled out the pancreas's lipase for the most part, I thought that the liver might not make enough bile. I came across the video about the sphincter of Oddi. I massaged it for several minutes and it was like a light switch flipped right away. I started eating again- my fatty meals left the stomach in 2.5 hours at some point. My appetite returned. This made sense, the sphincter was closed, and was just sipping through tiny amount of bile. Since there was no bile, the stomach would not release food, so not to damage the tract. It would be released over the entire day. When the sphincter opened up, the stomach could release all of the contents now. Of course, the liver still felt strained after these fatty meals, but when I increase the artichoke leaf extract- this problem was pretty much gone. I kept massaging the sphincter every day, to make sure that it remained flexible and not in a spasm. But then I ate a bit too much fat, and the food sat in the stomach for 7 hours. I felt very fatigued. It was very disappointing after such success. I am guessing that the liver is still weak, in terms of providing adequate amounts of bile. But also, I may need to increase the stomach acid more, since I was low on iodine. I understand it is needed to make stomach acid. Do you have any thoughts about this? I am thinking of getting some milk thistle.
This oddi issue seems to be more about low stomach acid. It doesn't open correctly because the food getting acidified is what should signal it to open. But trouble with fats is USUALLY more about poor bile flow. Milk thistle is great to help a liver, but doesn't really do anything to thin bile so it will flow correctly. This video will show you how to thin the bile so it will flow correctly: ruclips.net/video/mBdV6ZT9woQ/видео.html It's really common when one side of digestion malfunctions, it will cause problems for the other side as well. @@KickItNaturally Thanks Tony. I will give it a look. I am not sure if you describe this in the book, but are you aware of any tests to see if the liver is making enough bile? The only thing I am aware of it the bile salt(or acid) test that looks in the blood. Also, is there a way to tell if there isn't enough bile vs. poor bile flow? I think the symptoms would be the same.
Hi @ImperialBear, I don't know of any tests, but this video on 10 signs can give you a lot of indications: ruclips.net/video/iYs-yamzxx0/видео.html and you can find 10-parameter urinalisys test strips on amazon and test your urine to see if you have bilirubin or urobilinogen on the dipstick. Either of those is a slam dunk for bile not flowing correctly. and I talk about that in my books and courses. and you are right that either problem can cause the issue, but I can tell you that after working with thousands of clients and book readers and course takers, I've seen about 4 people who needed help producing more bile. All the rest saw improvement when working to thin the bile. So I'm quite convinced. Be sure to check back in and let us know how it goes.

I have had “silent” reflux for a period of time I’m not even sure. It then lead to periods of indigestion. After awhile, it would cause stomach pain with foods I normally ate. Didn’t even know it was reflux. Until in late March I had awful abdominal pain that didn’t really subside. My dr started me on omeprazole because I was getting reflux into my esophagus, back of my mouth and was spitting it out too. Ever since then, I’ve had repeated bouts of indigestion and nausea, early satiety, decreased appetite but not vomiting. Stools have been mostly normal. My reflux has gotten better but I’m worried about it slowing down my digestion or creating unnecessary gas/pains, indigestion due to too low stomach acid. I’ve been on omeprazole for 8 weeks and I want to get off of it, I’m worried about rebound hyperacidity so I’m tapering down slowly. This video was very helpful to better understand

If you have liver issues look into Milk Thistle and Choline NAC and Dandelion. The best for that and possibly Tudca . The liver is one of the few organs that can repair itself with diatery changes eating healthy mostly plant based and reduce carbs and sugar and seed oils like vegetable oils and use extra virgin olive oil only . I have no gallbladder as of last year. I started taking digestive enzymes once daily with a meal. My problem is constipation. I quit taking the digestive enzymes and it has helped a little, but not enough - still constipated. I also have bloating, at times very uncomfortable and difficult to relieve. Hey Christian, yeah it can. it's called bile reflux. I'm working on a video for that now so should be out in the next couple weeks. The hint is that low stomach acid is usually the reason it happens. things aren't flowing the right direction when food is not getting properly acidified.
Great information. I no longer have a gall bladder but I take ox bile from time to time along with the HCL. Just curious how often I should take the ox bile? So many issues with GERD 😢
I still have my gb but it tends to get sludgy & I have stones, so I take the betaine HCl with my meals then I take an ox bile or 2 or Tudca, depending what I have, before bed on an empty stomach. This is what works for me. Don't take the ox bile & betaine at the same time, they will cancel each other out. I would take the betaine right before the meal, then wait 30-60 minutes before taking the ox bile.
I thought my whole issue was not having enough stomach acid from years of PPIs and tums, so when I started supplementing Betaine HCL, it felt like the burning was going beyond my stomach, more to my mid upper abdomen plus nausea about 3-4 hours later. This explains all the dehydration I feel (feel like I’m hungover even though I stopped drinking in 2018). More loose light colored stools.
@@toddgeorge1569 lucky. Honestly it did nothing for me. I’ve been taking the beet leaf extract since September and I haven’t felt different. I take it every day as well as the HCL and also do one beet flush a week with the coffee suppositories.
This video may be the answer to my unusual question. I had to take two different antibiotics for a UTI in January, so I started taking a probiotic and have been eating kefir, sauerkraut & bone broth every day. I never really had digestive issues except for the fact that I have frequent bowel movements every day, but it’s not diarrhea, so I don’t know if that’s just normal for me or not. But since all this, I’ve been noticing undigested food in my stool, occasional heartburn & occasional bloating, so I decided to do the test where you put baking soda in water and drink it and see how long it takes to burp. If it takes longer than three minutes it’s supposed to mean you low stomach acid. Well, it took me eight minutes to burp. So I decided to take betaine hydrochloride supplements. Occasionally, I get an irritated bladder. It’s triggered from certain food like raw onions or spicy food food. Some people also have this condition and acidic foods bother them, so I stay away from them to be safe. So my question is, I was afraid taking the hcl might cause bladder irritation? Do you think taking the beet root supplements could avoid that? Like would it neutralize the acid before it gets to my bladder? I know I could find out the hard way, but I kind of didn’t wanna go that route. Lol

@@KickItNaturally absolutely right sir

Maybe apple cider vinegar before meals.
. YES ... should be every time you

Takes some discipline.
This video will show you how to thin the bile so it will flow correctly: ruclips.net/video/mBdV6ZT9woQ/видео.html

Hi @ImperialBear, I don't know of any tests, but this video on 10 signs can give you a lot of indications:
ruclips.net/video/iYs-yamzxx0/видео.html
and you can find 10-parameter urinalisys test strips on amazon and test your urine to see if you have bilirubin or urobilinogen on the dipstick.

Lol

Most people actually produce enough bile. It has just become too thick and sticky to flow correctly. Here is a video that lists things that can thicken up the bile: ruclips.net/video/PjL-0HYGLYQ/видео.html
and here is our video on steps that can thin the bile so it will flow properly: ruclips.net/video/mBdV6ZT9woQ/видео.html

I dont have a gall bladder. Should i take this. Betaine HCL?
Hello, I really appreciate your Contant and have watched several videos now. Are used to take a lot of HCL and OX BILE to help with my digestive issues. However, I think the underlying issue of the sludge in my bile not flowing properly has been the core issue. I stick to a fairly strict ketogenic diet and try to have my feeding window glass for around 8 to 10 hours a day. I just ordered Beet flow from the company you recommended….. how should I take this? Is it something I take before during or after meals? Thank you
Hi @Destroying Anxiety, yeah, using ox bile can help digest fats with that meal, but doesn't do anything to thin bile out so you can restore that natural bile function.
I can't give specific advice to someone who is not a client, but chapters 3 and 4 of my book go over how to use digestive supplements and figure out what would be best for you and your body chemistry. You can download the book for free here and just skip to chapter 3: kickitnaturally.com/free
If you're destroying anxiety, I hope you've seen our video on the most common causes for anxiety here: ruclips.net/video/UokNi-R9iLk/видео.html
and if you're using keto, you might want to watch this video on the different types of people who might need to fix some issues to keep keto from causing some problems. Even long term after keto worked well initially. It's some great insights to have in your pocket. ruclips.net/video/YXX-oYWw79Y/видео.html

@@KickItNaturally brilliant thank you for your response! I struggle with indigestion and ordered beet flow and read the chapters in the book. I used to take HCL alone and still have pretty bad reflux(thinking it could be a bile issue). I know you mentioned advice with clients but is beet flow ok to take alone without HCL? I have been trying bulk for a year(healthy way) and up around 20 pounds…however the ingestion and acid reflux issues have slowed me down a bit. Hoping bile flow improvements will help👍🏻
Hey@Detrroying Anxiety, People report taking Beet flow without HCL all the time when their acid function appears to be working correctly. But if a person is having indigestion and reflux, you'll see that those are two of the biggest signs we talk about in our video for 10 signs of low stomach acid here ruclips.net/video/W-sDb7lzFI4/видео.html
just keep in mind that you may also need to take steps to lower any bacterial overgrowth like we talk about in this video: ruclips.net/video/RjPdowTvD6I/видео.html
