    Thanks for tuning in. Finally succeeded and I managed to build a full carbon fibre bracket for my 1199 Panigale. I couldn't be happier with the result.
    The part only weights 308g and the strength of the part is unbelievable.
    This project was more about teaching myself what I'am capable of and learning new techniques.

    This is the most complicated part I've seen someone make in CF, and the end result looks super professional. Nice work, I learned a lot!

    Just a suggestion for the next round of molds, be it a revision to this, or your next complex bracket.
    When you're making your next revision of these molds, or your next multi-part mold for a complex part: Add in wax wedges (or waxed/release coated wedged shaped parts) on the back sides of seams of your mold where you want to fit your tools into.
    This will give you a starting point to separate the mold, where you can use a blunter tool with more leverage (plastic wedge, screwdriver, pry bar) to ease those first parts of the mold off.
    Love the progress, and thank you for showing the foibles and failures along with the successes!

    you have very nicely made forms and it is a pleasure to put the carbon fiber there, the result is great and the reduction in weight by 400g is amazing

    It's really nice that you documented the failed attempt as well! Massive weight reduction! How did you calculate how much CF to add? I saw first video you used unidirectional pieces. Are you worried that the vibrations might cause issues with it? Ducati owner myself..

      The oem part was 700g
      and the carbon piece was 300g

      I haven’t done much of the carbon jet but I would say roughly around 2-2.5 kg saved

      I thought about selling the parts, but the market is very crowded with Ducati carbon fibre parts. I’m more likely specialised in the rare parts. 🛠️🤘

    nice work, your mold must have been what like 11 parts including all of the smaller side pieces and wing molds?

      Yes you can buy this type of adhesive. You should search as Methyl Methacrylate Adhesive or MMA adhesive. You should be able to find something about it in Indonesia 🤞

    Sir, what is for unperforated flim ? Is it for prevent carbon fiber and vacuum bag sticking to each other ?

      More like the purpose of unperforated release film is to keep the resin inside the prepreg under negative pressure during the curing time.
