Great build. What endgame sets can we use instead of Maiden? Also, how will the lack of offensive penetration affect the solo play part of your build? Since we use thief instead of lover mundus.
hey, super awesome guide. I'm pretty new to the game and not yet at 160CP. I noticed in your written guide no pale order and starter gear sets don't run a medium piece... should i add a medium piece or is there a reason for this? Also, is it more beneficial to run 5/1/1 instead? Thanks in advance!
Ty so much. I might enjoy this more. Another build I found and started was heavy on stamina and the puncturing sweep was on the back bar. I overall was not enjoying it and it was outdated anyway. The only thing is I prefer the one hand sword and shield. What would you recommend for this build in place of the daggers?
This build is amazing! I am not even using the recommended gear ( I have 5x Julianos - purple; 4x Twilight's Embrace - purple; 3x Magnus - blue) and already I am able to solo base WBs.. Thank you so much for this!
Yep i useing siroira and mothers sorrow and it working just dandy for me might try force gods but i dont want to charge what working if u can get a companion send him in first and u will malt tham mods use the male set him up as a tank and u are ready to kill world bosses and any overland mission that come up :)
Hey man, just wanted to say thanks for this. I played a long time ago and just came back.. I have a templar but she was completely reset in my time away and I was lost how to rebuild the character. I am pretty casual, so I am not really looking at the high end gear and stuff, but I used your rotations and am having a great time.. totally pulled me back into the game. Liked it so much, I am also using a Bow/Blade Stamina Night Bade based on your other video.. fantastic stuff. The videos are very well put together and easy to follow even for a filthy casual n00b like me. Great job!
Me and my buddy were talking a month or so ago and I asked him about running deadly on my magplar. I had swapped it to mag instead of stam for a healer then decided I never used it so dps it is. Anybody I asked said it didn't make sense but I did it anyway so it's nice to see a video made so people know how good it is. I may switch up my second 5 piece now and give a few other things a try. Great vid as always man!
Why would people say it didn't make sense? I wouldnt ask them for advice in the future lol. Deadly Strike buffs magplars spammable for both singled target and aoe and their execute... theres no reason not to run it as far as I can tell??
I'm a newcomer to ESO (only been playing a couple weeks, solo) and your build guides have been a wonderful help. Still have a lot to learn, but you've made leveling much less of a hassle. Thank you!
This is my exact build with a few different skills. It pumps out absolutely insane damage. Always used deadly on stamplar, but now, magplar rocks and rolls. can do pretty much everything easily. Keep the vids coming, loving your content.
My magplar was just a daily writs toon until I found this build. It has revived for me what basically was a dead character. Thank you. One difference from your build that I am using is the Mother Ciannait monster set from Icereach. The shield syncs EXTREMELY well with this build, plus it helps with sustain. It pretty much makes having Harness Magicka on your bar unnecessary, freeing room for a different skill. So my front bar is full melee, with Toppling Charge, Puncturing Sweep, Radiant Glory, Channeled Focus and Inner Light. Back bar is ranged, with Unstable Wall, Blazing Spear, Energy Drain, and I keep Extended Ritual handy for extra heals and groups.
@@JustAChannel11631 Mother's shield triggers off your channeled abilities like your jabs and Radiant Glory instead of being a % chance, making the shield much more reliable. Also, Mother set adds magicka and gives you magicka back when the shield drops, so it helps with sustain too.
You are my go to for every build or info i need in the game. I'm new and your by far the best channel for me. Keep up the great work. Really appreciate the amount of info you put into these videos and i can say i respect what you do
Not sure if you'll see this, but I truly appreciate the work you put into this. Before this video, I would have never thought to use daggers for a magic build. Incredible. Got the jewelry pieces of Deadly, as well as a single dagger. Haven't gotten the second just yet, so rolling with an axe. Again, thank you. You have helped me immensely.
I just started playing ESO (wish I would've years ago) and chose Templar thinking "huh, this looks like the best option." Needless to say, im having a great time!
Uhh templar is easy mode. Mained templar for 3 years. Not to throw shade but jab jab jab gets boring after some time. I like alot of diversity. Most temp builds center around 1 skill. But for beginners it is a great class.
Lol I've been farming Bahsei based on your written guide and stressing out over completing vet Unhallowed Grave for Kjalnar's. Now I don't have to worry about it so much. Thanks for another awesome guide. Can't wait to try out these sets!
My cousin slowly pulled me back into ESO and this was my getting back into the game build. Even without proper rotation (mostly spamming spears) this build is growing on me. I’ve written down basically everything needed and have been crossing things off the list. For the time being I’ll be running Juliano’s gear and daggers since he can craft them for me once I hit 50 and get my champion level back. Then I’ll focus grinding out the actual armor, jewelry, daggers and staff. I plan on completing every zone and running reg and vet dungeons. Thanks in advance for all the endless amounts of content I’ll be running and the memories I’ll be making as we go ♥️
Damn, 3 weeks later….I have all my gear, weapons and jewelry (including ROTPO) I start my MA runs tomorrow and I’m slowly working my way up to CP 1000. This build just absolutely melts! Thank you so much!

Wow. If I want to convert from a Stamplar this looks to be the way to do it. Level up Destruction staff and Light Armor, collect the gear, and Viola. I really need to get ESO plus for the extra bank space….. and I just nearly completed grinding for Briarheart and researching medium armor to craft Hunding’s Rage. Very little of my gear is purple, so that makes it easier.

Lucky, love your channel. Hypothetically and given an average ability in animation cancelling, what would you guess the DPS ceiling is of this build as advertised? Do you believe a 60k parse could be achievable?
Love the work you put in and love this build but the only thing I have confusion about is Empowering Sweep. We are using War Maiden's on a Magplar so wouldn't Cresent Sweep just be better in literally every way?
So i recently returned to ESO, found you're guides, loved them, following this build right here. My question as I don't think you have mentioned it in your vids, or maybe you have and I just skipped past or something. My question is do you use whatever highest lvl gear u find while questing then once you get to 50 really look at the starter gear? or do you start trying to get the starter gear early on? Im going through the levels pretty quick and I'm constantly looking at my INV trying to pick the right stuff. lol anyway thanks! Awesome guides, you're the only person I look at guides for ESO btw. Keep it up
IMO just wear whatever gear you want. You can collect the gear in your book but if you get them at a low level before cp160 you're just going to have to re aquire them. Unless you get a ton of transmutation crystals n make your gear. I'm still working out a build myself cause I took 2 years off n my toon has patch work armor n skills lol
Thanks so much for the guide, Lucky. Appreciate all the work that's gone into it. I can't afford the daggers yet so I was wondering if 2 Deadly Swords (+284 weapon/spell damage) or 1 Deadly Lightning Staff (+10% AOE damage) would be better while I save up gold?

I've taken all my Stam characters through vVH and vMA with little issue. But for whatever reasons when I tried my first mag toon in vVH it was a disaster, maybe I'll try the magplar to see if it plays better
I just built this setup. Did it really quickly but settled for dagger and sword instead, your guide is super clear i love it. One question though.. why no purifying light? Wont it be useful with bosses?
I am new to the game and want to try this build but not sure what to do while leveling? How do I get the starter gear and what skills should I take while leveling?
Is this a build to strive for if I’m just starting eso? I’m a huge fan of Skyrim still play it to this day, but wanting to try something different and heard that elder scrolls 6 wasn’t coming to PlayStation unfortunately, so I thought I would give eso a try. I’ve heard it’s pretty different from Skyrim but still a really fun game now. Any tips for a new probably primarily solo player? Also should I buy the eso+ subscription? And is the game worth it if I’m solo right now?
Great video, been handicapping myself with most of my toons by playing one bars and I'm trying to figure out the set up for a one bar and then work on the 2 bar. Any suggestions?
Omg best video ever about magicka templer i use this build cause your video but my question is can i play with this build also in dungeon and pvp (cyrodill and battleground) or do i need to change some skills can you make maybe a magicka templer pvp build that would be so nice🔥🔥
Honestly you couldn't have released this at a better time for me lol. I've been playing for about 3 weeks and finally hit CP160. Time to farm this gear! Thank you for the quality content. EDIT: In the written guide it says shadow but here it says thief so which one should i use?
I'm currently going by your written guide starter gear; slime craw, war maiden, julianos, and Ring of the Pale Order till I can get the Deadly pieces. Thankfully there's a pvp event going on to get double AP to help ease the farm. I was wondering how much of a bump in damage is deadly strike over julianos? Im curious if it's a major, minor, or moderate increase.
Just wanted to update on this comment incase others might be wondering this. The Deadly strike set is a major increase in damage. It's definitely worth getting.
Hey, new player here but fairly knowledgeable on MMORPG. I'd like to know is it possible to run a decent werewolf build as a magplar, I've done some research & I see everyone runs stamsorc for werewolf cuz it's BiS. I don't care much for BiS but I don't wanna have a Doo Doo build as a magplar werewolf. Any suggestions for this?
a stamina templar ww would be fine, just use my ww sorc build, but put it on a stamplar :) magplar is less workable as the ww really caters to stamina regen
Hey Lucky, i'm trying to follow your build as close as possible, minus some personal preferences, but i have a problem with the daggers because they are very expensive at the traders and i'm not really a pvp-guy. I have mace and axe tho. What's the best alternative to the daggers and what should i adjust to compensate for that loss of crit?
Just joined your channel. About time! I've watched enough of your stuff. Query re Mag Templar. Starting at 1 tonight on EU - possible to run w/Restoration staff?
Hey lucky ghost, i see you use combat metronome, but would you recommend it? the gcd seems to be different on every attack and it confuses the hell out of me
hello, i have the setup you said (deadly and war's maiden with pale order ring and slimecraw helm...) , but just got some False god pieces at trial. FG worth it? how can i combine it if it's good > FG&Deadly , FG & WM , something else? (i'm just 320 CP)
Just a quick note but ruffian does not work with off-balance coming from Toppling charge or am i mistaking ? It only works on stunned ennemies in this case ?
i would very much like to try this out, just i come from a one bar set up and run Kinra's and overwhelming surge would this work till i get all gear needed? how bad would you estimate the difference?
Hi i run this build on my magplar and i can’t beat the last boss in Vvateshran i Die after the thrid portal, i take so much damage i feel like i wear paper and the heal isn’t enough. I’m actually cp790 and i have 33k health withe the arena bonus. Do you think i have to change cp stars or anything to be more tankier ?
Interesting build. Maybe I should play my Templar more. Guess I haven't logged in with him for over ten months. He is probably gathering a lot of dust. xD But besides this comment (for the algorithm), I wanted to throw a more trivial question in. What interface mod(s) are you using? I'm pretty sure I used the mod for the action bar at some point, but I'm really unable to remember the name.
Thanks for this. I am mostly there. Trying to build this solo toon by doing everything solo. I got a question: is it OK to swap the helm and shoulder pieces (so deadly helm and slimecraw shoulder) because it is way easier to get this way round.

For front bar weapon, how does DW compare to Lightning staff? Destro passive for lightning affects AoE damage by 10%, which applies to Sweeps

Great video, been handicapping myself with most of my toons by playing one bars and I'm trying to figure out the set up for a one bar and then work on the 2 bar. Any suggestions?
Omg best video ever about magicka templer i use this build cause your video but my question is can i play with this build also in dungeon and pvp (cyrodill and battleground) or do i need to change some skills can you make maybe a magicka templer pvp build that would be so nice🔥🔥
how does the undaunted and mages guild passives affects this build?
Should I use vampire or werewolf? Didn't see in guide. I love this build. This has become my main for sure
Neither for this build, but you can vamp if you really wanna
Honestly you couldn't have released this at a better time for me lol. I've been playing for about 3 weeks and finally hit CP160. Time to farm this gear! Thank you for the quality content.
EDIT: In the written guide it says shadow but here it says thief so which one should i use?
Probably the Thief
Thief for sure
Thank you!
sorry bout confusion, I'll update the written guide!
No big deal! I was just curious.
can this be used in trials/vet trials/ vet dungeons? what would this parse on a dummy?
I would like 2 kno this as well.
FINALLY ;D Templar loveee
Heya Lucky... on the written guide for this you have "STARTER GEAR" weapon one as dagger - dagger.
because its duel wield daggers
@@yungstock614 Yup..my bad, I assumed temp[lar = staff. Sorry
Ever think about doing an Imperius outfit?
Hey, new player here but fairly knowledgeable on MMORPG. I'd like to know is it possible to run a decent werewolf build as a magplar, I've done some research & I see everyone runs stamsorc for werewolf cuz it's BiS. I don't care much for BiS but I don't wanna have a Doo Doo build as a magplar werewolf. Any suggestions for this?
a stamina templar ww would be fine, just use my ww sorc build, but put it on a stamplar :) magplar is less workable as the ww really caters to stamina regen
@@LuckyGhost ok TYVM, would have hated starting a new toon as I've yet to master my 1st character.
The swords or the axes would be fine
What race is everyone running Breton or one of the elves which do you prefer I wanna go with huge damage input ?
Are there any Base game guides? Unfortunately I can't get most of the items I thought I was working towards 😕 😪
What’s the little bar middle of your screen that looks like timer?
Just joined your channel. About time! I've watched enough of your stuff. Query re Mag Templar. Starting at 1 tonight on EU - possible to run w/Restoration staff?
Not so much, maybe on back bar for fun but you will have to modify the build some to make it work :)
Would you recommend vampire for this build?
Hey lucky ghost, i see you use combat metronome, but would you recommend it? the gcd seems to be different on every attack and it confuses the hell out of me
its nice, but it just helps you keep that rythm of getting a skill off every 1 second (which is the gcd for every skill)
hello,
i have the setup you said (deadly and war's maiden with pale order ring and slimecraw helm...) , but just got some False god pieces at trial.
FG worth it? how can i combine it if it's good > FG&Deadly , FG & WM , something else? (i'm just 320 CP)
I was wondering if a nightblade werewolf would be good build what do u think and I would love to see a video about this
What weapon goes on the front and back bar? I'm a little confused on that.
Would medium or light fair better for slimecrawl helm?
Just a quick note but ruffian does not work with off-balance coming from Toppling charge or am i mistaking ? It only works on stunned ennemies in this case ?
I’m using deadly and mother’s sorrow, what you think about that?
Hello! I was just wondering, if that backbar maelstrom staff has to be exactly inferno, or will ice or lightning work also?
inferno is preferred but if you don't have it the other two are great alternatives
Ok thx, maybe i'll keep grinding then 😂 Have to ask, why is it preferred? I mean why is it better than the other two?
Where do you get all that golden gear from??
i would very much like to try this out, just i come from a one bar set up and run Kinra's and overwhelming surge would this work till i get all gear needed? how bad would you estimate the difference?
I have deadly but not war maiden yet so what would be a good substitute until i get it.
If I haven't access to Nirnhorned what would be the best alternative?
Can I use a 2H weapon instead of dual wield and still reach the same results in damage and sustain ?
Hi i run this build on my magplar and i can’t beat the last boss in Vvateshran i Die after the thrid portal, i take so much damage i feel like i wear paper and the heal isn’t enough. I’m actually cp790 and i have 33k health withe the arena bonus. Do you think i have to change cp stars or anything to be more tankier ?
Interesting build. Maybe I should play my Templar more. Guess I haven't logged in with him for over ten months. He is probably gathering a lot of dust. xD
But besides this comment (for the algorithm), I wanted to throw a more trivial question in. What interface mod(s) are you using? I'm pretty sure I used the mod for the action bar at some point, but I'm really unable to remember the name.
check out my newest addons video from 2 or 3 months ago, it has them all listed there!
Is there any options to swap some skills for healing spells for allies in this build as well? I love this build but I also want to heal my allies
any idea what this parses at? the 1.5 mil + price tag on deadly daggers is off putting
Thanks for this. I am mostly there. Trying to build this solo toon by doing everything solo.
I got a question: is it OK to swap the helm and shoulder pieces (so deadly helm and slimecraw shoulder) because it is way easier to get this way round.
Yeah thats fine
Thank you 😊
