there is a reason why he is using it, I know it may not be pleasing to the eye so I understand that but you can make this build into your own but its always good to have 2/3 stamina abilities or so so resources split between 2 and not just 1 and you don't run out of resources so fast. I always say to always please yourself before anybody else so you can swap and switch abilities between what you feel like is better so don't worry about that
Thanks for this got the beginning build done in a day almost from scratch I did however swap harness Magicka for Rally until Ring of the pale is mine works really well with the heal
Nice build. But I'd better prefer dual axes and combination of sets around of Warmaiden set at frontbar. It isn't max dps, but let u play free and do high flat damage .

Hey Lucky! I know this guide has been around for a while but I've been watching it and reading your written guide for reference. New player, trying to build a solo templar to do stuff on my own. I had a few questions I hoped either you or other viewers would be able to answer. I don't really have anyone to play with, so I'm sticking with the dungeon sets for now. In this video you mention the Stormfist set, but in your written guide you're suggesting Iceheart's. Which one should I follow? Also, I've heard a lot about Maelstrom weapons, the arena stuff. Is it worth sacrificing a piece of the Monster set for it? Thanks again, amazing work! Really life saving.

I mean for example, you said in the video why we should use the stormfist head... But I didn't find the information in the written guide :/ I think that this kind of information can be really useful in the written guide to know why we should use this item and not an other, in that way, while we're reading you're guide, we learn how work our class, what kind of equipment we need and why... Why a double dagger for a magicka necromancer and not a bow, or a fire staff... Why 64 in health for a DK tank while the other build do something like "22/20/24", maybe it's because we took the stam/mag recovery from stuff. For example :) Sorry for the long message and for the mistake in it.
Hyy lucky why not overwhelming set? I used auroran's until i saw your vid for war maiden with maelstrom staff build on templar still sooo good on all type of PVE, never did pvp sorry about that but yep still hits like maniac and i'm really happy 😉
Hey Lucky, Was following the build and it seems that my low CP makes it a little confusing on the warfare tree. The second skill down (Deadly) I assume should be deadly Aim, and cant be assigned until you have more points assinged then just the 20 Points into percision. Minor glitch but was a touch confusing. To solve this I assigned my first points into Percision and then did the Piercing for 20 points then i could access Deadly aim. Thanks for all the awesome work on the build, and keep up the amazing content.
HEY! Could you do a video on which one of your one bar builds you consider to be the best? Kind of like a BIS type of thing? You have a lot of one bar builds but if you had to pick one which would it be? TY. :)
you shouldnt run out if you have your passives, and your food/potions. if you are missing some of these things feel free to put mag recovery on one or two jewelry pieces until you get them
Question Lucky. I always thought the rule was 1 proc set 1 Crit/WD set. I see you running two proc sets. Has that line of thought changed? Secondly, Whirl of Depths does nice AOE damage but seems less at compare with Aegis Caller which seems to be much better with Trash and do similar if not more AOE dmg (12 sec constant w/ 2 sec cooldown as opposed to small 8 sec DOT with 6 sec AOE on 2 sec cooldown). Seems AE would cover a lot more content and not just Heroic Boss fights. Thoughts?
Sustaining a medium set on body in solo content would be tough. In group content go for it and see how it feels. Can work if supports wear the right gear
@Lucky Ghost ESO Builds what about pillar with oders wrath in light, get the light armour bonuses plus pretty much the same crit dmg as wearing medium

I always want to run these builds but every time I watch the videos and you start saying you need this monster set or use this set or that set and I’m like I literally have never seen these sets. Then if I have to buy them I don’t have enough money to do that. I feel like it’s almost impossible to get the gear for all these builds.
you literally just queue up for the dungeon and the game gives it to you... :) the written guide tells you which dungeons to run, just hover over the gear names! cheers

Hi, I have everything except the 2h nirn sword, but I have a 2h maze of nirn instead. Somehow i cant get the the full 5 piece bonus from nirn and i dont know why. Im looking for some help guys
you have 5 piece bonus of nirn on back bar if you've followed my written guide. Nirn is a proc set. so you can only make it happen every so often, so it will "proc" whenever it can when you go to your back bar. you don't need the 5 piece bonus 100% of the time. hope that helps clear it up
I’m new to the game, I have a question as I’m levelling with this build throughout the game. How can I get magic back as I always run out of that resource :/ I know you got potions which I use but it still runs out so anyone have and recommendations? Thanks
Yer I hear ya! I use a mag DK for both PVP and PVE! I lvled up a magden during Halloween just in case! The major and minor breach from deep Fissure on a magden is outrageous for getting your average DPS up. If your not it 5 Light a damage shield can be tricky but they melt stuff wow! But my MAG DK is just painfully easy to do anything!
I do miss the older animation, looks like you've got a ray of light that you're lancing your enemies with...I'm getting used to the new animation & it's not too bad, and I do like the 3 strikes being slightly quicker...but if they ever offer a way to toggle how it looks, I'd toggle it to the original way it looked with the new 3 strikes timer.

So light and heavy attacks are considered duel wield or two handed abilities while using those weapons. Thank you for clearing that up.

Light attack is tapping the attack button heavy attack is holding it down. Every weapon can do this.
is this build still viable? Most build templar builds are spamming blazing spear over puncturing sweeps.
yeah definitely still a fantastic build. spear spammable feels awful in solo imho, this feels a lot better. GL!

Use ghastly eye bowl food. Very important to use food in eso

My weaving with it is beyond awful now. Its post fire delay is longer than expected. Feels great to spam, feels terrible to weave
