    I just want to gladly add that this is the only channel I’ve seen that super newcomer friendly. Most videos go straight to adding content that new players probably don’t have which makes a new player feel as reaching stats impossible and also left feeling left behind. Thank you lucky ghost!

    I love your videos, i main a bow/bow nightblade and you’re videos have given me a much better understanding of the game. A lot of your advice, after applying it and practicing it, i got out of being stuck at 20k DPS on a 3 mil dummy to 35k and i can keep my rotation and stay alive in solo a lot better now.

    I've checked out quite a few Magblade builds recently and I gotta say, this is the best one I've seen so far; great results without the sweatiness. And highlighting both trial gear and non-trail gear is always worth kudos. Know your audience, ama' right? :P
    It's so hard to pass-up Summon Shade's Shadow Image morph though. Being able to teleport _back_ up (elevation-wise) to a spot that would otherwise be a pain to get back to, is so dang handy. Like in IC, maybe you just ported up to the surface from your factions base in the sewer, and you spot a chest right away, but you're not really looking to drop down long-term. Easy; set your shade up near your spawn-point, drop down for the chest, and port right back up to safety (or to your sniper's nest).
    Oh and, yes I know it's a PvE focus build _("so why are you bringing up IC!?")_ but some good PvE stuff comes from there. Nunatak's monster set, for one.. Which is, I think, the _ONLY_ source of Major Brittle in the game. So, even if you hate PvP, it can be worth the time and frustration to step into IC, from time to time.
    And, if you _reeeally_ don't want to take any risks, you can at least get the Arena District daily quest done, without ever dropping down from your initial zone-in spot. It's the safe-but-slow way to grind Tel Var for monster shoulders. Your _Shadow Image_ can help you nab the loot off the mobs you kill, and get you back up to safety.
    As well, if you do drop down and earn a pile of Tel Var (maybe by helping to kill a patrolling boss or something), remember that the fastest way out of IC (IE: to a bank where you can deposit your stash), is to queue-into Cyro (No-CP rarely has a queue-time). Taking the Cyro queue will pull you straight out of IC, even if you're in combat or running for dear life. ;p
    Really enjoyed this vid. I'm gonna suggest this one in /g chat! Thank you.

    Now I'm playing this build and here's a feedback
    I got only 280 CP
    Pros:
    1. Great sustain
    2. Great AOE damage - 1 target damage is also OK, but it is not as impressive as AOE :)
    3. Rotation is not boring :) I'm just starting ESO - so, it's still interesting to me to learn positioning and timings which are very important in this build
    Cons:
    1. I'm get OOM very fast - usually I do my daily activities (WBs, Public Dungeons, Random Dungeons) without Recovery food - but it's great to have it.
    2. Dumpen Magic (light armor shield ability) - costs a lot of mana and lasts just 6 seconds - I decided to switch it to Mystic Orb of Undaunted - it increases mana recovery, heals and do AOE damage
    Also, I found logical to switch Barber trap to secondary panel - because it's buff + dot with long duration - it's better to have 6 seconds shield (if you use it) or Mystic Orb on my main bar

    I was doing Vateshrans with 10k pen and major breach, and I have to say I had a way harder time burning bosses without it, is 4k really enough for Vet Vateshrans? I Struggled pretty mightily at 8k. Suppose you could always offhand a pen mace to make up the difference.

    • @LuckyGhostESO
      @LuckyGhostESO  Год назад

      I would recommend caltrops for pen if you're willing to go get it, second best option is probably elemental weakness. Lover mundus PLUS light armor have felt like more than enough pen for solo in my tests, but I'll never advise against using caltrops in solo if you're willling to jump into pvp . cheers!

      @@LuckyGhostESO I definitely like razor caltrops and Im close on my MNB, I currently use the magicka sustain elemental weakness, Caltrops would help with the aoe, ive gotten close on my MNB but I made a sorc heavy attacker and actually cleared the entire thing on the first shot with 3 deaths. Thanks for the info, Im also a 6 month player so relatively new but My first chest I got perfected point blank Snipe. • @LuckyGhostESO
      @LuckyGhostESO  Год назад +1

      normal trials sure, veteran trials use one of my group builds on the same site. But be warned trial builds are tailored for specific situations where you're in an organized group and your character is a little glass cannon with little to no built in sustain (cus it assumes healers and tanks will provide it) so solo builds are better for 99% of content (anything but vet trials with organized groups)

      You don't have to farm dungeon sets if you don't want to, but you're not going to find too many good overland sets that will help you solo harder content. Although, I guess you could mix Hunding’s or Julianos with Briarheart and be fine soloing base game vet dungeons for the sets.

    • @LuckyGhostESO
      @LuckyGhostESO  Год назад +6

      Your questions is why do I make video guides and walkthroughs for builds that give people the best chance of success in ESO? As opposed to what? gimicky builds that don't actually function in veteran dungeons, trials or arenas? There are plenty of people making those builds, that's not what I enjoy making.
      IDK I guess I just like setting people up for success because that's what I would want if I was new to ESO looking for a build. I would want something I could build once and use throughout the entire game. To each their own. But its an odd thing to complain about unless you're just looking for things to complain about. Good luck out there

    • @eldenmox5525
      @eldenmox5525 Год назад

      @@LuckyGhostESO it was an honest question, wasn’t meant to be condescending or whatever.
      See for me I only tank in group content but I do mostly solo content also and I guess my builds reflect my tank nature. I have tried dps builds like yours before but they don’t work for me. Mostly my solo builds are intentionally “gimmicky” because it’s more about having fun and having some kind of theme and also the solo content is very easy.
      Anyway it was meant to be a constructive question because I was just genuinely curious. I’m sure someone understands me and also I think an actually brand new player could have problems with survival going all damage if they don’t have pale order or something yet and trying to run a build all into damage without all the cp and skill points to get all the defensive passives also.
      Maybe you could title the videos “meta dps build you can solo with if your good” lol
