      It depends on your speed. I would say at least 30 minutes :)

    So 100 is coarser than 180?

    • @glowtipsofficial
      @glowtipsofficial  10 месяцев назад +2

      Hello! That's correct. A nail file with a lower grit number will be coarser. In the context of nail files, "grit" refers to the coarseness or fineness of the file. The grit number represents the number of abrasive granules per square inch. Therefore, a lower grit number indicates fewer granules per inch, resulting in a coarser file. Coarse files (with lower grit numbers like 80-100) are typically used for shaping artificial nails like polygel nails. In contrast, finer files (with higher grit numbers like 180-240 or even higher) are used for shaping natural nails and smoothing the edges of artificial nails.

    Hi Im new to the polygel nails but the way to remove the nails looks very harmful for my real nails. Is there any other way (less harmful with less filing) to remove the polygel nails?

    • @glowtipsofficial
      @glowtipsofficial  10 месяцев назад +1

      Hello, it's important to note that polygel cannot be removed effectively without filing. While acetone can be used, the majority of the polygel should be filed down first. My recommendation is to start by filing down the polygel until there's only about 10% or less of the product remaining, leaving a thin layer. Afterward, you can use acetone to soak your nails. The potential harm arises only if you excessively file your natural nails, making them too thin. I hope this clarifies the safe and effective way to remove polygel without causing damage to your real nails.

      @@shy_8427 Unfortunately not, as this is not a fully soak off with acetone type of gel product.

    very damaging for real nails

    • @linhpn510
      @linhpn510 14 дней назад

      Nothing against natural is completely healthy and nothing is completely sanctify human being either. We have to decide one way or another, what we prefer more. The only safe way for not feeling damage is natural manicure with no polish. Even regular nail polishes or shinny buff cause your nails dammed over time.
