The Joe Smith scandal prevented the wolves from acquiring first-round picks (2001, 2002, and 2004).
And also KG's large contract contributed to them not getting any decent player except in 2004 when they got cassell(who was never the same after that big balls dance injury he got vs the kings series which they won) and sprewell(turned down a contract notsaid not enough to feed family and got issues outside basketball).
And became a lone wolf at that point and was out of playoffs in 2005-2007.
KG's only chance was 2007-2010(where they won 2008 playoffs and injured his knee in 2009 near playoffs then his teammates drag the eventual eastern champs to 7 games while playing 7 games against the bulls the previous round).
After the 2009 injury KG lost some post moves...left shoulder turn fade away was gone and you can see always turns right and baseline fadeaway. He was still effective in Pick N Roll/Pop with rondo approaching prime in 2011 til he got injured in 2013...ray allen in Miami rondo out of playoffs -- they were done
Break it down to these casuals.
He can't even stop nate Robinson
or antonio mcdyess?
Dirk killed this man every time
He never once killed this man on defense tho. Dirk couldn’t shut down Glen Big Baby Davis or Tiago Splitter on defense. He was a poptart
@@voiceofreason2674 cool, his job was to score not defend 🤣
That's because he couldn't defend.
I heard Garnett say he modeled his game after CWebb and he even was going to sign with Michigan but ended up going straight to NBA.
How about amare stoudemire
Ease up on the big words KG. Keep it simple my man.
What about Pau?🤔🤔
