Great video man thanks. So to sum things up; it is possible to just unbolt all the necessary nuts and bolts and just pull the engine out? How would you rate this job from 1-10? 10 being extremely difficult. I’m doing this job this weekend(cinco de mayo). Thanks again.
@@BigHammerGarage thank you sir for your prompt response. I’m actually doing it on my wife’s jeep. Same exact engine and jeep as in your video. I forgot to ask. So just unbolting the tranny and all wires and hoses should be enough to pull it out? .. thanx.
Hey, I just wanted to ask you if you guys have an update how the jeep is running now since the video was made about a year ago how was the car running till this day?
Thanks for watching. We will have an update soon on the motor swap. Car is running well we have had an intermittent coolant temperature sensor implausible reading that we will be changing a sensor for. We will shoot an update when we change the sensor.
The ECU and chassis control module as well as all the wiring would need to change. @AmericasMostWanted4x4 might be a good resource. Thanks for watching.

6-7 having done several swaps. If I was asked to do it by a customer I would probably decline without a lift.

I left the trans in the car and unbolted the engine and torque converter. Then with the rad removed there was just enough room to get things out

Hey love the video.. question, can I swap a 2016 6.4 v8 with a 2011 3.6 v6 (jeep Cherokee)

Is there any diesel engine I can use to do a swap on a WK 2005?
how did the water end up in there ?
Our guess is a bad head or head gasket. Could have lost a water pump causing the issue.
Nice video easy
My is a 06 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4x4 the engine swap is a bitch!
Just blew the motor in my 2013 still
In the shop
how much it cost for 3.6?
Picked one up from a salvage yard same year and model with less miles for $2700
😹😹😹
Did you ever get it out?
@@thegoldshowshow1887 finally then the transmission went out I sold it lol
