Done sth. similar before where I just very briefly and gently heated up some (good) canned tomatoes. I also always use a "raw" tomatoe sauce when I make pizza myself.
I prefer the acidity of uncooked (or briefly heated) tomatoes. Tastes more fresh to me.

I have grown some roma tomatoes and some little yellow pear tomatoes, along with some fresh basil and LOTS of garlic. I also make my own tofu, so I’m glad you showed it with firm tofu! In the past, I’ve tried making tofu sauces with store bought tofu and it just gets grainy.. so, I’m excited to try this “Cheese”. Sauce!

Hey Sauce Stache. I love your videos and congrats on losing so much weight! You look really healthy! Keep up the good work!! My problem is, I have acid reflux, so certain things trigger that, one of which (BIG time) is Tomatoes. The thing is, I LOVE pasta with tomato sauce or ANYTHING with tomato sauce. If I eat it, I have to take Pepcid or something, so I just stay away from tomatoes. But I REALLY WANT something that would be a good substitute for that. I've tried red pepper sauce, it's okay, but not great. And I do love Pesto, and Alfredo sauce, and I also tried Carrot sauce which was also pretty tasty....but it ain't Italian tomato sauce!!! I really want to find, and have been searching for, a good tomato substitute that tastes like tomato sauce. Can you do a video on THAT??? What do you SUGGEST???
