  • We’re out hunting at night in this week’s episode as Rich Saunders and his mates target rabbits under the cover of darkness. The lads gear up with BRK Brocock and Daystate airguns topped with Pard DS35 laser rangefinder night vision optics to make an awesome bag of bunnies.
    Also in this week’s episode, Mat Manning has a review of the Reximex Accura. This budget priced multi-shot PCP airgun boasts a classy walnut stock, solid build quality and impressive accuracy.

      Thanks. Certainly a great piece of kit. There seems to be plenty of NV products coming out right now but the Pard DS35 is certainly one of the best I've used so far.

    Hey, Rich. That rabbit at the 4:20 mark heard you fussing with your rifle/safety and ran off.

    • @richsaunders6515
      @richsaunders6515 3 месяца назад

      Could be, although I think the sling was probably making more noise. The trouble is when we're filming there's a lot of whispering and fiddling about with cameras that can put the rabbits on edge. Fortunately we managed a few in the end though. Farmer was pleased anyway!

    • @richsaunders6515

      Hi Steve. It probably wasn't that clear on the video, but there's no special connector/adapter - just the rifle sitting in the standard 'v' yoke with me holding on.

    It's amazing how afraid of gunpowder Brits are. They spend £2000 on a gun and scope where a $200 lr .22 and $200 scope will do, just to avoid gunpowder.

    • @crazycressy7986

      It's all the hassle of owning a FAC I gave mine up 7 years ago ,but thinking of starting up again, but waiting 2 years just to get a licence and upto 22 weeks for a variation on your licence is a joke ,so looked into air rifles again ,and boy the company's are taking the pi$$ with prices ,£1400 for a BRK Ghost ,I dident pay that for my custom built AR15 straight pull

      British are not scared fire arms. Brits have to jump through so many hoops and over a long period to get even the smallest of calibres. I have shotguns and fire arms and when I walked 10m with my air rifle in a gun slip to my car, somebody called the police thinking I was up yo no good. I had about 6 armed police officers at my front door calling me out side. I could of lost my licence just for that, so they could do n investigation on me. That would take about 2 years to complete due to the back log of investigation they have. It would ofcost me in the area of £1000-2000 to store my rifles while they did there investigation. This is why people.in Briton sometimes just want to be hassle free and stick to air rifle due to issues like this. I wad lucky that the police was decent and could see with how I presented myself and got my license straight out for them and invited them in to see how I store my guns and ammo that I was no threat and stuck to the law here. Any questions on what I habe said, I'm more then happy to answer

      It's just lack of education and how some people make others think guns are dangerous when really its some people that are. That's what there is a process to having one. The police was spot on so credit to them being so understanding and professional.
