To anyone thinking about taking up riding a motorcycle: Woody is right. Your safety is your problem. Although you may have a legal authority, you will definitely be hurt more in an accident than the car. You HAVE to ride defensively or be prepared to be injured eventually.
Motorcycle drivers deserve anything that happens to them honestly. Riding a motorcycle is like bringing a knife to a gun fight.
@@stanparker9556 You responded to two sentences that were blatantly trolling with a wall of overemotional text. You're the insecure one here, buddy.
@@jamesbrincefield9879 or you know, sometimes shit happens.
I’ve seen so many videos of dumbass bikers who expect the road to part like the Red Sea for them, people don’t understand how to drive defensively and then go and get a bike, it’s ridiculous
This is why defensive driving is the best driving. Assume everyone is going to kill you, put away your ego, and drive. You most likely not get into a collision and you'll avoid a shit ton of collisions.
For sure
@Nikolai głodowski Drunk drivers are human garbage.
Ego is the ultimate killer, never get into ego battles because you don't know where the other party will take it. Lot of nutters out there, don't go damaging cars out of revenge, just carry on and get away from them.
@@michaeljordan6816 how dare you it’s my right as an American.
Couldn’t agree more. Driving around reckless, just assuming people are going to get out of the way, slow down, and stop for YOU is all fun and games until you run into somebody with the same exact attitude and you collide into each other.
Holy shit that clown horn made me laugh so damn loud at work
One way to fight a speeding ticket, is by asking when was the last time the radar gun was calibrated. Some departments don’t calibrate them as often as they should.
this is the dumbest shit I've read in quite a long time it's 2022 every lidar gun runs a calibration diagnostic everytime it starts

I love when people get behind u and put ur lights on, it’s my universal signal to laugh and drive even slower so they have to drive around me. I just slouch a little so none of the flashes from my mirrors reach my eyes and they always pass lol. I wish some people would get that some delivery drivers can have their cars tracked and I would literally get fired for driving 1 mile over regularly, so don’t assume anyone driving under the speed limit is just driving slow for no reason, some of us wanna keep our jobs

I'm a motorcyclist when I'm speeding and/or splitting lanes , I can't bitch about being cut off or bad drivers
Honestly speeding is probably safer anymore because it keeps you away from the people that want to play nascar pack. I even do when im in my car. 85 on the interstate to avoid the absent mindef
Kyle is one of them....Hangs out in the left lane. The left lane is the passing lane.
I had an argument with someone outside my house and he rammed me off my bike as I got up his friend who I didn't even know was there in another car ran me over hitting my arm and chest and both drove off. 2 years later my arm is now only getting better

This PKA clip made me laugh more than any other clip has, my new favorite.
Kyles explanation of what the left lane is for, earned my like. Cheers Kyle.
Guy: gets in accident
Woody’s advice: just dont get in the accident bro
He doesn't seem to understand swerving into other lanes without checking traffic has its own risks.
I find it funny when a group of people known for weaving in-between lanes complains about people getting in their lanes.
Anytime I have a scary lady accident I end up being watching "road rage gone wrong" videos when i get home for a reality check. I myself can get insanely bent out of shape while commuting, but i hate the feeling and would regret it every time i got incredibly angry or acted ot on it.
I remember after a particularly dangerous incident with a Mexican dude I was stressing shit out for days. I remember thinking "You almost got shot" for weeks after.
Stage safe dawgs.
I ran over a coyote on an extended cr500, saw it coming a second or two before impact and managed to bring the front end up just enough to roll over him with my rear tire. It felt just like hopping a log in 3rd gear, I still count my blessings for that win.
Edit: I'm all but certain the coyote didn't make it.
“You're the one on the motorcycle so it's your problem”
It IS his problem. I ride all the time and I can say this for sure: my safety is my responsibility. Although I may be well within the limits of the law in a traffic situation, I'm gonna be hurt if I get into an accident. The driver of the vehicle won't even have a scratch. Sure, they may be legally liable for an accident, but that won't matter at all if I'm dead.
why is this in quotes its true lmfao
Imagine putting this in quotes while thinking you've made a good point. Yes, obviously if you are the one making things more dangerous for yourself, it's on you.
Watch out Tony might come outside to grab his newspaper and mistake you for a hitman.
Been riding for 27 years. I can say I've never touched the horn before the brakes. Never had a collision. Funny how that works.
can confirm Kyles statement, you can in fact go like 50mph over the limit on i-285 in atlanta and the highway cops will just go "yep, we'll catch ya if ya kill yourself and someone else, but i aint getting out on this road" and wave as you fly by them. Nashville aint so kind, pull your ass over doing 72 in a 70
It’s all fun and game until the driver of the car gets startled and shoots the motorcyclist. Thanks Taylor for bringing that up.. as I’m typing.
A large amount of hit and runs are because the driver is drunk and wants to go sober up before the cops get to em
damn i didn't know Taylor and kyle are Left Lane Hogs
Woody's couch reference had me thinking about something that happened to me. I was coming back from an audition for a band when I lived in Los Angeles. There was a ladder in the middle of the lane I was in on the interstate. i saw it right before I ran it over and swerved to the other lane and luckily there wasnt a car next to me at the time. Idk what would of happened if I wouldve hit that ladder going 75-80 mph in my Toyota Matrix. I had a roommate lose a box spring on the 101 near Hollywood lol but thats another story all together.
nice suit and tie kyle, very dapper.
New Jersey crime boss Taylor Soprano.
Ive been riding for a long time now and worked in the industry. Its been my observation that close calls happen every single time out. It seems to me the longer you ride the better you handle it. New riders, my self included, are more likely to rage out over the slightest thing. Long time riders are so use to it we might shake our heads at most. When i was new I once blocked I95 to fist fight a dump truck driver who didn't yield.. Fast forward 6yrs, a ford f350 pulling a giant camper turned into me hitting my rear swing arm as i gassed it to get out of the way. We both stopped. The guy was crying he was so sorry. Only damage was to my licence plate. No big deal man. Just pay more attention. Im late for work. Point is experience and age seem to calm us down.
At least homie apologized. He probably had some kind of existential crisis over the idea he almost took a life.
0:57 I recall the side of my car getting clipped when I was a teen and my dad was driving. This lady merged into our lane and scratched up our whole side. We both pull over. The lady gets out of her car and and instantly throws up her arm walking towards us pissed. The front of her car was fucked, not ours. My dad just turned off his rage and rolled with it. It pisses me off though that we both had no fault insurance. This lady literally hit us and had the gall to be combative. My dad used to drag race, was very good not hitting the other cars on account of him being alive. The car has no seatbelts and legally doesn't need em. Lucky we were not in that vehicle although the thick full steel construction would crush the tin and plastic cars we have now.
Right when they rolled out the new Camaro police vehicles in Fort Worth, while on my way to work in my Mustang the cop was acting like he was trying to race me. I didn't take the bait but then he floored it and I said WTF and chased him for a while. The guy wasn't actually in uniform and looked like a young kid so he could have been one of the vehicle service folks simply transporting the car and trying to have some fun. But there's been two other times when I've had a little stoplight showdown with cops who were intentionally egging the whole thing on. All in good fun.
I’m paralysed because of a motorbike accident, I high-sided landed on my arse and crushed the bottom 5 (L1 to L5) vertebrae and ruptured the bottom 7 discs T11 to L5 and I fractured my pelvis. This was on a racetrack and my front wheel hit an extra sticky piece of track with a load of rubber down.
I don’t know how anyone can walk away from an accident when there’s someone that could be injured. I honestly couldn’t live with myself.
3:27 "👉 Hey you! I'm here first!" - that's the whitest angry woody agro I've ever heard 🤣

I've been riding motorcycles my entire life. Was thrown on my first bike at 5 years old and it wasn't a dirt bike. It was four speed 75cc cruiser that was *TOUGH* and I laid that thing over on pavement a few good times. I learned what a bike can handle and still stay up. I've hit a turtle and a squirrel at 45mph and I was fine but it's terrifying.
RIP to those little dudes though. Wrong place, wrong turn, wrong time.
Taylor is gettin ready to tell carm he likes the OJ with SOME PULP not WITH PULP
That was a reactive rider instead of a proactive rider. He reacted to what he should have seen coming, not being proactive will force you into dangerous situations where you have to react.
Woody's sitting there at the start of the video fighting World War 3 inside his own mind. He looks like he's one traffic jam away from starring in Falling Down 2 someone please get him some SSRI's and Adderall.

KYLE: HELLO MR. ANDERSON 🕴🏿😎
i honestly think its crazy people even have time to lay on the horn. The few times i've nearly been in an accident my #1 priority was getting out of the way or not hitting whatever im about to hit. The only time i've used the horn is for legitimate road rage like why the hell are you going 20 under the speed limit
3 years ago me and my roommate are driving to class. Its a very foggy college station morning and he accidentally cuts someone off the car follows us for several miles flashing their high beams and honking at us.When it's time for us to get into a turn lane to pull into our college the guy slowly drives past us and points a gun at us through his window.Thankfully both me and my roommate have Texas LTCs and are kind of gun nuts.So we take off after him and get his plates and vehicle description. When talking to the police and explaining what happened I'm able to tell the officer he pointed a black subcompact glock at us and judging by the size of the bore it looked like a 9mm to me.The cops track this guy down in an hour ask him if he has a gun he says yes but he never pointed it at anybodyand then they have him try to explain why 2 people he's never met were able to perfectly describe the firearm down to the make and caliber
Taylor got me so good with that horn
Woody is very passionate about vehicle dangers
I thinks it’s cause it’s very dangerous and people don’t act like it is.
@@Vex319 yea road rage and traffic related accidents have become the norm and it sucks cus it means people are more careless about it now
Also, those biker flowers really think they're tough with those huge pieces of head armor.
Imagine being at a party where you all having a good time until the most boring person at the party speaks then drags out a long story, but everyone has to stop and listen, and stand quietly and agree!.. that’s got to be hard work at times, big shout to the lads, you know who you are 😂
He wasn't controlled swerving, that was 100 percent too much reae brake while trying to turn and he got the dreaded braking slow wobble
woody snitched on that couch
In NC there are signs next to the lights that say “U-Turn must yield to traffic” or something along those lines, so I think he knew what he was doing
Sometimes it's hard to just swerve out of the way. You can see in the video that the bike snaps back from the grip it gained after skidding its wheels. If I was in that situation I'd much rather slow down and crash rather than trying to swerve around them just to smack my shoulder into the bed of a truck at 45+ and roll.
Good point
My dad taught me when I first started riding to ride like I'm invisible. My scariest crash has been when I was blasting a moto trail. I was going fast as it was smooth and not challenging, well the trail system is easy to get confused and accidentally get onto an atv trail with your truck. If you're slow and have no common sense you probably wouldn't question why your truck takes up literally the entire trail. So I'm coming up on this blind corner when bam, red f150. I was going about 45mph but luckily my bike was a new frame bike so I laid it down and hit the ditch. Only damage was that my ankle got caught in the rear swingarm but didn't break.
Its nice to see Taylor outside.
The biker always nearly dies in every close call with a car while the person in the car was sat in safety in most cases
The motor bike crash he actually slamed his brakes so hard that the reason he swerved was the brakes locking up
Discord will let you screen share why doesnt woody just have tabs pulled up and turn on and off screen share so there isnt any sync issues
15:02 God damn that's great
Woody "wait I want to go a little longer" Woodworth
I feel like kyles in the left lane doing the speed limit with people behind him
Woody always has the most critical and thought out opinions.
WOKE UP THIS MORNING, GOT MYSELF INTO AN ACCIDENT
Woody almost got hit by someone avoiding a storm drain
I remember a guy cutting me off. We got to a stoplight. I lifted my vape to hit it. He looked over and just gunned it through the red. It took me a while to realize he probably just saw me lift something Gray through my tinted windows and maybe thought it was a gun. Either that or he planned to go through the light anyway.
12:00 he was definitely a new rider considering he was riding an r3 and he also slammed on the brakes which caused the rear wheel to lock up and he lost control of his bike
Kyle looks like an American Niko Bellic
Wtf Kyle sometimes sounds like Joe Rogan
He blinked at me
I do the same exact thing @ 12:40 I want them to think about their driving
gotta watch out for city deer too.
looks like he started to lean left but then turned his bars tro the left which then put the bike upright and went to the right a little. always lean never turn loll
Hate to say it but woodys right about the motorcyclists freaking out
Motovlogger?....Now I have to wonder if you guys have seen any of my videos. Also yes I am so with you about overreacting riders who put themself in the situation.
We should count how many times Woody raises his eyebrows
They definitely pull you over for speeding in Atlanta.
The reason he seemed to swerve towards the truck is because his brakes locked up. Motorcycles arnt as magical as woody thinks. Lol. You also cant really brake while swerving a motorcycle very well because slowing down reduces your traction and you will highside.
Everytime i go on I-94 in Chicago theres groups of people riding their bikes like 140 mph and i saw one slam into the back of a lady driving 70. So stupid, also yes you can split lanes but when i dont see you dont start crying.
I've had 2 times when I was on a one way road and there was a car driving the wrong way straight towards me. We just shared the lane
So like I’ll get pissed off if you’re in the fast lane and I’m obviously going faster, Idk if this is everywhere but in Tx we flash high beams to tell them to mover over. Sometimes they just won’t move and it’s the absolute worst!
It’s so annoying haha
That's why the left lane is specifically for passing only and not meant to be cruised in. But nobody seems to know that and it isn't enforced in the states.
@J That is actually the law everywhere.
I own a rusted out 04 Avalanche with a bad transmission and live out in the boonies. Ive only ever been challenged to race once by some dude in a rusted out diesel truck at a 4-way intersection. He pulls up to me in the right turn lane, looks at my truck, scoffs, then literally rolls coal as he takes off going straight to get ahead of me. I was personally surprised more than anything because i wasnt expecting it AT ALL.
Im not the kind to race, i value my life as well as others too much to do that sort of thing. Most of all, I value my vehicles, no matter how rusted out they are. As long as its safe to drive, drives and runs well, then i dont have to worry that someone is going to steal my rusted out truck.
After he was long gone, the only thing that came to my mind was "yes, you have proved to have the smaller dick between the both of us. Im not about to blow the trasmission on my only working vehicle to prove that. You go gurl."
Idk, i dont get why people gotta do that shit like they gotta prove something to me. I dont know you, i dont care to know you. If you have to prove anything, prove to me that your a competent driver and dont do that shit.
k
With motorcycles it’s a universal sign if you tap the top of your helmet it means cops in the area.
Any good motorcycle instructor will always use the term "when you get in an accident/collision". Not "if", "when". Also, take a picture of your last insurance bill before getting a motorcycle because thats the lowest it will ever be.
That crash, there was one main problem. Rider tried to brake and swerve at the same time. It’s brake then swerve, or swerve then brake.
He locked his rear brake then released the brake and it caused that snap back towards the truck. In no way is that the motorcyclist’s fault.
It's always a fucking brand new huge truck with LED headlights that tailgates me when I'm already going 10 over the speed limit. What I do is find a semi truck and stick directly next to them so there's no chance of passing for as long as possible shouting slurs the whole time. Then I speed off at the next exit so they never get the satisfaction of passing.
I'm totally with woody on this one. It's not worth getting into road rage fights and those videos of bikers punching windows and mirrors just makes bikers look like a-holes. If you decide to escalate road rage by doing that crap you deserve what's coming to you.
Hitting an armadillo is like hitting a stone its size. I had a uncle in La who used to hit them on his dirtbike to get a lil air. He'd aim for them driving all the time..
Tony soprano's crib!!
At the start of the clip Kyle asks about armadillos vs motorcycles...
Fun fact time boys/girls. Dillos can jump 3-4 FEET straight up. Guess where most motorcyclists vital bits are in riding position? You guessed it...3-4' off the ground. That's like a 10-15lbs meaty bowling ball hitting you center mass or higher at whatever speed you happen to be cruising. Stay safe out there.
Depending on how fast the rider is going breaking can be extremely dangerous if the rider does not slow down
Not everyone has good skill on a motorcycle. He probably had target fixation
Interesting fact about NC law in regard to collisions: If you hit someone's rear, you are at fault, 100% of the time, no exceptions. In this scenario, the motorcyclist will be considered at fault.
The guy didn't swerve back into him. He hit the front brake and it locked up and slid out from under him. When it starts your not gonna change paths.
Rear brake. A locked front brake will cause a low side.
number 1 rule. be 10 steps ahead at all times
#2 its not if its when will u go down
#3 dont ride above your ability
have fun
someone is my family was a police officer for 25 years (not tryna say who it is) when they had the dodge chargers they would test them on the highway and see how fast they could go. he said they got them up to 150 and this is all on a public highway
I’ve avoided stuff like that in my lifted Silverado, I know for a fact I could of avoided that on a motor cycle
It's not really a matter of size, it's a matter of traction.
@@ninetailedfox579121 that’s what I was thinking it doesn’t take much to lock up if the roads are a little slippy. I had the opposite I hit a patch of the track with a load of rubber down and caught my front wheel and I high-sided and ended paralysed from about 6 inches below my chest.
