The mcdonalds near me had a lit up 24 hour drive thru sign, I go to the drive thru at midnight after my roughest day of work and its closed, never gone to mcdonalds since
I have one by me that is 24 hour, but every time you go between about 2am and 5am they say their computers are down every night. The other 24 hour one a couple miles further down the road, I've never had an issue with.
My McDonald's is the same way. I showed up after my night shift one night for food, everything lit up like normal, go to the drive-thru, menus all lit up, I sit there for a few minutes and nothing. There's like 4 cars in the parking lot, I go to walk in and a sign on the door says that the lobby is closed to use the drive-thru. Did this like 2 times in a week only to find out they're closed.
I only ever get McDonald's if I'm desperate for a quick bite. I have the shits of showing up, ordering food, only to have my order fucked up by a grown adult that cannot seem to grasp the simple concept of reading. Half the morons running the register don't understand how change works. For example your bill is $4.25 and you give them a $5 bill and a quarter and they just hand you the quarter back. The ice cream/shake machine is down literally every time you go there. There's just a laundry list of bullshit wrong with the place. I prefer Burger King personally, even if they are a bunch of woke retards, at least the employees are less retarded.

My buddy worked as a cook at a red lobster, litterly his job was taking frozen cooked food and heating it with a grill or dropping it in boiling water for a couple seconds.

I kinda figured that's how they rolled. You're not going to have some big chain restaurant like that dealing with ACTUAL fresh food. It's not like your sea town water front seafood restaurant that gets their daily shipments in off the boat. I rarely eat there, I think I was last there for the endless shrimp for $25. You got like 5 little shrimp per order and I was basically doing 5 orders at a time because you'd have to be there for an entire day just to fill up and get your money's worth.
Same with Chilis, Applebee’s, Olive Garden, and any other of the chains that portray that they are better than fast food.
This sadly happens at most chain and even local restaurants, like I would do that at home if I wanted pre-packaged meals

To put it simply, whenever workers take 30 minutes to show up, it’s because they don’t give 2 shits, or they’re helping someone else, but you’ll see if they’re helping someone else.

I wouldn’t piss on Pep Boys if it was on fire. They did tires and an alignment on my girlfriend’s car and her front wheel FOLDED UNDER the next day. Luckily it happened in our driveway because it would’ve caused her to wreck if she’d been driving down the road. I jacked it up and found several suspension bolts were missing by comparing it to the other front wheel. I called Pep Boys and they denied any wrongdoing and told me to have it towed back to them (at my cost) and they would give me an estimate me on how much they would charge me to fix it. NO THANKS!

Man I stay away from almost all Nike stores, was at one in Daytona and I had 2 employees walk up to me and ask if I need help I said not atm I’m just lookin. After 10 minutes looking around the store still looking for something and they walk up to me and say buy something or get out. I told them still looking around why? Then called security at the mall to remove me but the security was cool and even asked for reasons why but they never gave one and told me I’m free to shop.

A local car audio store for me. So I bought an entire new system for my car, deck, amps, door speakers, tweeters, mids speakers and boxes, subwoofer, wiring, fuses, everything for a fresh install was bought there, easy $4300usd. When I say bought, I had to pick up most of the things and bring it to the front, but the amps and woofer were very heavy and I needed some help carrying it all to where my car was parked over the busy street. I made this guy very aware of this before I paid, and he said "yeah don't worry about that" and then goes on to distract me by talking about the stuff I was buying, I was pretty excited to be getting that Sundown X15 so I immediately forgot the issue and kept talking as I handed him the money. He took the money, and I reminded him I needed a hand walking this stuff out, then he said he couldn't leave the shop unattended, makes sense, so I ask if one of the two salesmen sitting on their asses could help, and he said "they don't get paid to do that", right but, can't they help a paying customer? Nope. So I'm pissed, I don't want to do business with you anymore, give me back my money. "What's wrong with it?" "Nothing, I literally just paid you for it, it hasn't even left the store" "We can't return any items that aren't damaged in any way", yeah, they did that.
So I made 4 trips crossing this extremely sketchy road that people drive pretty fast on, with hands loaded with VERY heavy components. You'd think that'd be the end of that experience, right? Nah, found out later that the asshole double charged me for wire and didn't give me any of the fuses or breakers I paid for, by the time I realize this, it's already 6pm and they'd be closed. Bright and early next morning, I'm at their store with my bill to find out what happened to my parts, "oh it's you" as soon as I walk in, I'm confused, I've been to this store literally twice before, once when I scouted the equipment and the day I bought it, so the greeting as if I were a well known criminal to them was jarring, but I shake it off. I tell him the problem and he says "you took everything when you left, you could be lying for all I know" I realize pretty quick that there is zero way to prove he's lying, and I cussed him out and left.
Probably should mention, I'm an Indian, He was Black. In my country, there is a VERY strong racial divide recently because of American politics, before BLM, we had zero issues, Now, they've taken the position that we are the oppressing class in our country and are therefore akin to White people and as a result, all of the nasty things they say about White people in America, these idiots say about us, in a country with no White people. Bear in mind that I was patronizing a Black owned business, in a country with very few Black owned businesses, the majority of audio stores are Indian owned, but this store wasn't far from where I live and had decent prices, also, I'm not a racist so I don't care who I buy from, I'm a Capitalist, I want the best prices.
Told my friends about it and none of them were shocked, a few laughed and said they could have saved me the trouble of going there, one recanted a story he heard about a similar situation at that store, apparently I was an idiot for not looking into this store first lmao their facebook page had a few negative reviews as well, you live and you learn.

For me, it's a specific McDonald's on Broadway in NY. I asked for two barbeque sauce. She gave me one. I said, "oh I'm sorry, can I grab two please?" And she said no. She said she you can only get one per meal. I said "okay, can I buy another one then?" And she said no. We got in the huge fight. I just couldn't understand what the issue was. I was willing to buy it. She loved being able to say no to me even though it literally made no sense. To this day, I refuse to give that bitch any of my money. That McDonald's lost my business for life over a BBQ sauce that cost less than a quarter.
UPS, took them 7 weeks to get an Airsoft replica from Poland to the UK, they blamed Brexit yet it took only a week to reach the UK which wasn't bad considering the weatherbomb we had at the time and the whole coronavirus situation. Then the parcel sat at the UK depot for the next 6 weeks, weren't notified about paperwork they needed until we finally got through to them. Several delivery dates given when the parcel wasn't ready, one time when it wasn't even in the same time zone as me. Finally turned up but then the driver took it away as they hadn't accepted a PayPal payment for the customs fee. Never been so cross in my whole life. Finally accepted a card payment and said it would be delivered the next day, didn't turn up, nor the next day and yet the delivery driver marked it as "delivery refused" when no UPS employee came within a mile of the house. Finally turned up on the next Monday and thankfully was intact after the driver flung it around. I'll never use them again, absolutely impossible to contact and they don't even bother attempting to do the bare minimum to help. Hermes was nowhere near this bad when my business used them. Not even close, when I had a customer ask about a delivery not turning up, 10 minutes later we had an answer from Hermes saying there was a delay and the next day customer received their parcel. Useless Parcel Service caused me an abundance of frustration and stress.

Outback Steakhouse. They’re god awful. Every single time I’ve visited them, and I’ve been to at least 3 in my state lmao. One time there was a hair in both my food, my fiancée’s food.. they basically admitted to us that they couldn’t take tomato’s off of their wraps “because the way they are cooked” which if you know anything in the slightest about food, translates to they’re fucking frozen.. the blooming onion was burned and dry to a point where sauce couldn’t even save it. Aside from some local personal shit that really pissed me off like local restaurants, There's a handful of companies that I really dislike that are really hard to get away from. Like Coke. They REALLY pissed me off with that "Be Less White" campaign. But between Coke, Monster Energy, and Dasni water, it's pretty hard to get away from.
Coca Cola has discontinued hundreds of drink brands since the scandal, while introducing far fewer new drinks than they've done away with.

Game stop. One time maybe 10 years ago I bought a “brand new” copy of need for speed there, took it home opened it up and the disk was badly scratched all over, so it had been clearly used and resealed then sold back to me as a new copy… I put the disk in and just as I thought, it wouldn’t even start due to the severity of scratches. Took it back the next day and they tried to say it was impossible that happened with a brand new game and they painted me as a liar trying to screw them!!! Had to argue with them just to get my money back with in store credit, let alone a full refund like I wanted but regardless of the awful customer service I’ll never be shopping there again when I can go to the Target next door and not worry about there being any scratches on brand new video games

Jade palace(Chinese restaurant). I called to place an order for pick up and was immediately met with rude non apologetic employee who cut me mid sentence telling me they're busy to call in 40 minutes. What am I a charity case? Was I getting it for free? No I was a paying customer just like everyone else. And what really upset me was that I was a loyal customer there for over a decade, that restaurant wouldn't do so well but I would always give them my business. I could understand if they were completely swamped with business and a little stressed. But the way this Old lady spoke to me was soo insulting, almost as if I was bothering them by merely calling. No apologies, no "could you call back in 40", or "I'm sorry but we are really busy at the moment if you would call back", nope just attitude filled rudeness. Never in my life will I give them my business again.

Mine is cancun. My mom and I went to eat on her birthday and when they took an hour to get us our food, it was wrong and over cooked with small portions but on top of that, there was a cockroach in my moms food which when we told the waiter about it. He grabbed it and put it in his pocket then walked away and came back like 10 minutes later to ask how it was and left the bill. I complained and they didnt want to comp it. I called the health department and left. We didnt eat a single bite or take a single sip of our drinks. Place was shut down for a while but is open back up and from what i hear, its worse than ever

There was a recall on my car's a/c compressor and when I went to get it fixed they told me I had voided my entire extended warranty by putting freon in it. there's certain companies I've never supported in the past but wont in the future like Netflix. I already started growing a beard by then but the Gillette ad put me off them. the UK retailer called GAME lied about having Fallout 4 PIP boy editions in stock when that was a thing and I've never bought off them since. and other than that there's just some local takeaways that ill never go to for one reason or another the most recent being that I placed a large order for me and my mother my stuff came but my mothers didn't and after it arrived they refused to pick up the phone, I called the next day asked for a refund on my mothers food and they said ok and I still haven't had that refund, tried calling them since and no answer, also both times I've ordered off them the food was like an hour late, its a shame really they do really good food with generous portion sizes at a low price they're just super unreliable.

For me it's Arby's. I live in Lynchburg VA and while I only rarely got something at the Arby's on memorial avenue my mother and sibling got food there all the time. Then a few years ago it came out that the building was infested with rats. It was so bad they were not only closed by the health inspector but the building was bulldozed. It made the local news. Employees tried telling their regional managers who did absolutely nothing. It got so bad that the employees were leaking photos of dead rats to the press to try and get SOMEONE, ANYONE with some power to do something about it.

Maggianos in Tampa fl. Its been 20 years and this is still the worst service Ive ever had. It took them like 4 hours (there was like 3 or 4 servings and like an hour inbetween each) to get us our food, the waiter was rude, and to add insult to injury he gave himself a 90 dollar tip off my card, like he physically wrote it in (someone else was covering the tip so i put 0) on my receipt which sent my account negative. I was 20 and had very little money and he gave himself a 90 dollar tip. Ive had some other experiences that were bad, but still pales in comparison to maggianos. You know its bad when the customer still remembers it 2 decades later
