- Namz is finally back! Its been a while I haven't been active on youtube but here I am back with my projects! This particular car is a BMW 4 series 430i M sport gran coupe bought from auction centre. I have bought it sold as seen with fire risk attached to it, the risk I took with this one is knowing that it may have caught fire previously, did it? Lets find out....

Nice to see this video. I’m 95% sure this was the problem with my 420i. I had no compression in my first cylinder, so it’s good to see how you guys stripped the engine right down 🙌🏾 subscribed!

@@GolfClubGolfing unfortunately not bro, my mechanic said that it would need an engine rebuild which would start at £3000. He the. Said i might aswell sell the car because if he found more things wrong while unpacking the engine it could potentially rise to £10000! So I just got rid.
Same problem with my 420i i was advised to replaced the engine

A lot of issues with any car is owners not looking after them.
@@osman8531 bro how would you say looking after car is? Like how would you maintain it?
@@darrentorres801 so what that means is people that don’t service there cars on time or not at all. The amount of people that max their cars out and don’t even get a simple oil change the impact can be severe. That’s just one of many examples.
With the f10’s you just got to make sure you change the things that need doing such as rod bearings, oil pump and injectors to name a few

One of the best handeling normal BMW cars.
One thing I’ve noticed is that my b48 does drink coolant not much, but 100-200ml a week with hard driving, I’m a car guy so I know to check these things but a lot of people don’t, so they’ll run it till dry and overheat and that coolant pipe is common too. These engines run hot naturally compared to other cars too.
I’ve been meaning to bring my car to you. You seem like a very honest mechanic. Also your knowledge is top notch bro big respect!

This is from driving rough & not taking care of it. BMW are very good cars its just the way you drive & treat it. This one has clearly been abused & trashed & not been taken care of.
5:19 - That car did not sound alright I would of turned it off immediately & changed the oil asap after hearing all that tapping
But if you watched the whole video you will see that an oil change wouldn’t help the issue even 1% 😂

Interesting to see this coolant pipe fail at around 70k miles, i heard these b48 engines were meant to turn bmws reputation around regarding petrol 4 cylinder engines…
That coolant pipe has a recall on it in the states but not in the UK
I have seen quite a few b48’s with the same issue piston damage on cylinder 2 defo a manufacturer defect, this bmw has that plus overheating
miss the old days when the 330i was a 3 liter
Even the 325i was a 3.0
@@bwdrives funny enough even the 320i e46 was a 6 cylinder
Dr namz is removing the heart ♥️ and now doing a bypass hopefully mr 430i will recover quickly

There is a BMW Recall on the coolant pipe. BMW GROUP DOES NOT INFORM THEIR OWNERS.
