    Sorry all - It came to my attention that I had originally published this video (yesterday, Sunday, 10/27/2021 at 10:00 AM Central Time) with two mistakes...
    A) I originally missed one clip - Fixed on THIS video
    B) I originally doubled another clip - Fixed on THIS video
    It has now been corrected, and you are watching the CORRECTED video. Please accept my apology for the mistakes and any inconvenience this has caused.

      You and Megan are doing a FANTASTIC job for the hobby, you may not be doing all the planes which I wish you would do BUT on saying that your channel is the BEST RC PLANE CHANNEL on you tube.

      Your tip of mixing elevator to a switch to provide "launch assist" is a brilliant idea. I'm now using it on my Durafly Goblin and e-flite F15 Eagle. I launch both of these using SAFE. I will apply it to my other hand launch aircraft. Much more relaxed launches - thanks.

      Glad it helped! Keep in mind, that SAFE WILL "listen" to this "mix" since it's like YOU doing it, while TRIM will basically be "ignored" by SAFE equipped planes.

    • @tabdycollins
      @tabdycollins 3 года назад

      @@BrianPhillipsRC I am using AR637Ts which I've programmed through Forward Programming. I usually have 2 SAFE modes. One with standard surface limits and one with max limits and 3rd mode set to AS3X. Peculiarly the MIX only works on Mode 1 and I haven't worked out why not on both or all 3. Same on both aircraft. I'm not ashamed of using SAFE. I only came into the hobby at the start of this pandemic, thinking, as a retired professional rotary and fixed wing pilot, it would be as easy to fly these models as the full scale ones - how wrong and nieve can one be! SAFE gives me the confidence to enjoy the aircraft when operating at low level. My airstrip is even more restricted than yours and I too have a 3 phase pylon line crossing my main runway. I built a concrete runway 20mx2m and now also have two much wider and longer grass runways mowed to golf green standards. I really enjoy your videos. Do one on the Goblin!

    Hi Brian, Rickey Phillips (BOMBER) here. My little (WINGMAN) Hunter said your "DART" looks like a "KLINGON WARBIRD" from Star Strek. He kept laughing at you when you kept crashing until you got your settings to straighten out on your transmitter. Keep them coming. BOMBER & WINGMAN

    I have this plane and LOVE it! Flies for an hour and a half on a 18650 2S. But I gave up trying to hand launch it. It was just too frustrating. I use a simple bungee launch now and it works every time. Straight to having fun without the frustration and anxiety.

      Even thought I'm a nubie I kind of jumped in with booth feet. My first plain was a Mini Apprentice then I got the Habu sts rtf and I just got the Aeroscout 1.1 bnf.
      The only one I have flown so far is the Apprentice. What I really need is someone to help me with my radio. I have an NX6 and have had no luck programming it.
      Thanks for the response, at least I know I have some of the models you recommend.

    I thought this one looked kinda cool but my wife sayed it looked like funky looking tv remote so i may go with the radjet design or the one with the 3 ducted fans on the back. Have you had a chance to fly any of those? I would like to know if the bnf or pnp version is worth it or should i go ark and supply my own electrodonics. I think this ones still pretty cool, maybe a 31" version and i would have to pop on it. • @BrianPhillipsRC
      @BrianPhillipsRC  3 года назад +1

      When you're plane is veering without any input. It's hard to tell that from WIND, if it's a steady wind....
      You can counter the "neutral" state of the surfaces to go straight as an arrow when you let go of the sticks (Assuming enough throttle of course)

    • @levellepartee7295
