The easiest business I can help you start (free trial): www.skool.com/...
If you’re new to my channel, my name is Alex Hormozi. I’m the founder and managing partner of Acquisition.com. It’s a family office, which is just a formal way of saying we invest our own money into companies. Our 10 portfolio companies bring in over $250,000,000+ per year. Our ownership stake varies between 20% and 100% of them. Given this is a YT channel, and anyone can claim anything, I’ll give you some stuff you can google to verify below.
    How I got here…
21: Graduated Vanderbilt in 3 years Magna Cum Laude, and took a fancy consulting job.
23 yrs old: Left my fancy consulting job to start a business (a gym).
24 yrs old: Opened 5 gym locations.
26 yrs old: Closed down 6th gym. Lost everything.
26 yrs old: Got back to launching gyms (launched 33). Then, lost everything for a 2nd time.
26 yrs old: In desperation, started licensing model as a hail mary. It worked.
27 yrs old: "Gym Launch" does $3M profit the next 6 months. Then $17M profit next 12 months.
28 yrs old: Started Prestige Labs. $20M the first year.
29 yrs old: Launched ALAN, a software company for agencies to work leads for customers. Scaled to $1.7mmo within 6 months.
31 yrs old: Sold 75% of UseAlan to a strategic buyer in an all stock deal.
31 yrs old: Sold 66% of Gym Launch & Prestige Labs at $46.2M valuation in all-cash deal to American Pacific Group. (you can google it)
31 yrs old: Started our family office Acquisition.com. We invest and scale companies using the $42M in distributions we had taken + the cash from the $46.2M exit.
32 yrs old: Started making free content showing how we grow companies to make real business education accessible to everyone (and) to attract business owners to invest or scale their businesses.
34 yrs old: I became co-owner of Skool.com to help the many people who want to start a business online do so.
Today: Our portfolio now does $200M/yr between 10 companies. The largest doing $100M/yr the smallest doing $5M per year. Our ownership varies between 20% and 100% ownership of the companies. Many of them we invested in early and helped grow (which is how we make our money - not youtube videos).
To all the gladiators in the arena, we’re all in the middle of writing our own stories. The worse the monsters, the more epic the story.
You either get an epic outcome or an epic story. Both mean you win.
Keep crushing. May your desires be greater than your obstacles.
    Never quit,
    Alex
    FULL DISCLOSURE
I make content to make money - just - on a longer time horizon than most. I want to build trust with business owners so we can find the best ones and help them scale. And if they’re awesome, write them a check and go all the way as partners.

Good information, as the top sales person who sold the same as the all the sales staff combined, I would change one thing in this presentation. The buyer has fears and many of those fears they will not tell you. It is the job of the sales person to know all of the objections and not need to ask the prospect. For example you have to tell the prospect who is resisting things like, "you might be wondering, if you give me your credicard number, how do you know you will get anything in the mail.... and answer the question and others that might be in their minds. HINT: people are more afraid of losing something then the desire to gain something. Eleminat the fears and dont expect them to tell you.

@damienwelter4543 he says “rather than answer the question, ask a question about the question.” There certainly is a place for this, but if it’s used without rapport, with trust, or without the shared goal of developing understanding, it is likely to be seen as evasive. I’m trained as a clinical psychologist and work with people long-term who have serious mental illness, personality pathology, and/or addiction. You must always be a person first. Even the language of “prospect” is dehumanizing and transactional.

I lost so many sales in the past, but thanks to your video, I now see things clearly. It’s not that I didn’t already know most of what you said-maybe not perfectly, but my instincts always told me the same thing. However, I refused to act on it.
I’m tired of playing the game. I don’t want to dance around the issues, wrestle with people, or give them the "right" when they’re wrong. I don’t care enough to bother. Clearly, I don’t prioritize money because I’d rather hold on to my pride than compromise and sell to someone by letting them think they’re right, even when they’re not.
It’s probably my pride. I don’t know for sure. I didn’t come to this world to simply go with the flow, especially when it’s clear the flow is heading in the wrong direction regarding Western society. I’m here to tell people the truth, even if it’s not appreciated and doesn’t get approval anywhere.
Watching your video was a pleasure because now I’m even more certain about what I should do when I decide to prioritize money. I realize I didn’t do anything wrong-I just didn’t want to go along with it before.
Now, I have a clear decision to make in the future. Thank you very much for the video.

It’s a modified feel felt found. I feel like it allows you to get back in control which is good. I do a version of this but before I associate I feel like it’s better to get them to clarify and I truly seek to understand what they mean by their objection. People are to quick to respond and it comes of as ingenious and you sound like the last 30 dudes attempting to sell them stuff. By gaining clarity the customer then feels as if you truly care about what they care about once they feel that you truly care then you can get back into the drivers seat and if need to then having that tough conversation it becomes much easier because you care.

First of all, great content that drills down on your earlier sales stuff: mint. I know that simplicity is a key component of your current content (which I applaud), but this particular topic would work well with roleplay where we can see a prospect and value guide(a.k.a. sales person) interact. The technique would be displayed overhead as it’s employed.

Brother, I'm a little confused why you allow RUclips ads. Most of the ads are scams and for me, it tarnishes your reputation which I have nothing but the highest respect for. Don't see the benefit towards your brand at all. Always have the highest respect for the RUclips channels that don't force ads.
