As a fellow seamstress this is beautiful!! If you want a specific ruffle look satin blanket binding hand pleated either single pleats or small box pleats or large box pleats look amazing, I did this on an apron recently by stay stitching the pleats onto the apron then I flipped it over the seam and sewed it again, so elegant with very firm pleats in a ruffle. Also if you iron as you go along it makes a biiiiggg difference as I'm sure you already know!! Lots of love and keep creating gal!!!
