My mother began sewing back when she was a teenager. She is now 80 and still loves to sew and can create anything with her skills. Glad to see young people keeping the art alive.
I just now found this tutorial and I love it. You helped me so much with it, 'cause I really struggled with sketching the figure and i am a fashion trainee and the lessons of my teachers were not helpful for anyone.

Tysm, i am born with artist talents, but i dont really know in what type of dtawings im talented for real, or the most, so i decided to try out every type of art, starting with pencil drawings, and now im trying fashion sketches!
Getting back into fashion design after years! I studied a certificate ii in applied fashion design and technology when i was in high school. I miss being creative. I've always loved fashion and I'm currently studying a Bachelors in Psychology. But I'm wanting to do something creative on the side and also studying a certificate of Professional fashion design online and completing that on my own time. Love this video too it's helped me start sketching again as I've forgotten the basics

This rlly helped me I usually can't manage to draw a body and clothing and most of the tutorials out there r too complicated. Then I tried this one and I managed to draw clothing!

Don't say you're not very good at drawing, your sketches look great and the method is very easy to follow and recreate. This really helps!

This tutorial really REALLY helped me. Im not an artist, im a writer, but i wanted a way to put my character’s outfits onto something as a reference but every tutorial i tried to find was clearly for artists! I didn’t want to draw the character, i wanted to draw what they wore, and this really helped understand that it’s not rocket science to just get a sketch on a paper. Plus, most tutorials have everything in blocks. I see things made from lines, not boxes, just like stick figures!

I go to a fashion school, but we haven't really been shown sketch drawing yet and would have to create drawings for my project. From September I am in the 2nd grade so yes. Btw I go to school in Austria.

Wow this was so much more simple then what I've done + gives you a better result! Thank you for this video it was super helpful and really well shown/ explained! I've also drawn since I were little but always struggled a bit with a full body sketch. I'm usually more into faces. But It's fun being able to sketch down your design ideas :) Thanks again!

I have a copy of Gertie's New Fashion Sketchbook, which already has very faint female forms in various standing positions, and so that part I don't need to know about right now, although I did find that interesting as well. :)
It was cool to see how you drew your garment ideas onto the forms. That's given me encouragement and courage to just start drawing out my ideas. :)
