just wanted to say ive always struggled and doubted my abilities with fashion sketches, but this video really helped me understand and break down the fundamentals, which i found always overwhelmed me. after my second try i surprised myself and was able to be satisfied with the result. thank you so much for this video!!
I watched Nick Verreos's video about sketching croquis and didn't have much luck. I followed along with yours and had pretty good success for the first time. Also, my teacher Caroll Kern included a link to this video for we students could watch it. So that's 20 more people who had access. Thanks so much.
She was drawing a woman’s body obviously and cuz I’m pretty new to all this, I just followed along and in the end it came out to be pretty good... except mine looks like a man :)

can u do a video on internships/work, i.e did u get a job as soon as u graduated, where, rates, did u start by getting coffee or did u automatically start to design for employers
Hey it is very useful I enjoyed watching it I just have a question am 25 and I do not know how to draw nor to sew and I really would like to be a fashion designer so you think am able to do it to learn ??? Please answer I want to start but am afraid
You are gorgeous 😍 I like your way of drawing , I am a new fan of you and would like if you can share with us the measurements to have a beautiful fine croquis plz
You should see mine as it looks like an alien (LOL). I think that has to do partly with using centimeters instead of inches so my measurements must be a bit wrong because the legs are way too long. I will keep practicing.
hey don't get discouraged after the first few tries! it took me years to get "good" at drawing, and i'm still trying to improve. I have two free templates linked in the description of the video that you can print and use as a reference! when I first started out I found that it was helpful to trace other artist's works to get a feel for the proportions

Why measurements are important in fashion figure drawing please tell me i'm so bad in measurements 😢😢😢
what kind of paper are you using that you can see through it??
I used regular computer paper! nothin fancy - but sometimes I use a light box (I bought one on Amazon for around $30) if I’m using a thicker paper
Please tell me
What's the kind of pencil?
Could you please write the measurements or details.
