It's great to continue hearing the personal stories and trials. We have become an overlanding and vehicle camping family, but our 9 year old daughter was just diagnosed with severe Celiacs Disease last week. A new challenge...a new shift in life's planning. But there's still an adventure.
If I remember correctly I believe in one of he earlier series one of the X Overland members had Celiacs Disease. You may want to PM Clay and ask who it was and how the dealt with it on the road.

My son was diagnosed with type 1 shortly after the 2019 NWOR. We had a blast there, but the diagnosis has overshadowed our lives since. Thank you thank you thank you for talking about type 1 and showing such a strong young man who is dealing with this affliction. This will benefit more folks than you will ever know:)

I'm glad to see XO is back! Such a great inspiration in appreciating the beauty of nature. Toyota is the best all around overland vehicle. Being in the medical profession, overlanding is my scapegoat during pandemic surge. Nice to breath some fresh air without any mask on. Keep it up! We are part of this community😊

Lmao so much preparedness for a Baja trip. I’ve done several times in a stock Jeep and a couple of times in a Toyota Corolla. This guys are funny.
For sure! Anyone can do this trip in just about anything. We are a bit different due to our production schedules and business.
SVC has a design to protect the Ford Raptors Electric Steering Rack which is one of the failure points. This would be perfect for what you guys do.
I saw it described on the RUclips channel “Keep It Dirty Off Road” as they went to SVC’s shop to see how they build thier trucks. SVC Built Ken Blocks Hoonigan Raptor so these guys absolutely know what they are doing.

Small adventure van builder in Omaha lets do a van together simple but amazing. When you started it was simple in the beginning and simple is what people want. There's a lot of big time van builders out there let's design something special together on a middle income price.
Need to do shows with veh builds the average middle class American can afford. Not with uber expensive sponsored builds.
Looking forward to the other episodes , should be good . As a San Diego native I've spent a lot of time in Mexico mostly the Baja strip . Just be sure to check your shoes for scorpions before putting them on when down there , seen one drop out more than once when tipping them over and they are not fun to be stung by . For me when I go there I love the food , even when it seems questionable . In TJ there's a place called "Buckets" and it's pretty sweet sitting on the balcony overlooking Revolucion drinking cerveza's and eating a sampler platter while watching a guy running around with a whistle trying to pour tequila down peoples throats LOL the things you see down there are truly fascinating .

As a local baja person, we always are astonished at the excessive amount of gear gringos like you bring. Each truck is worth like 10 years of labor for a local. Thanks for building houses every now and then though

I got diagnosed with sickle cell trait in the middle of a trip to Colorado. I was told I'd never be able to climb mountains or do strenuous activity, scuba dive, etc. I've tried my best to defy that. I feel ya kid.
I really want to see what they do in Baja, they are well prepare but kind of all overkill that all the stuffs they have, I had driven a Doom buggy for Baja 500, 3 days and 2 nights with 2 drivers, 80 mph flying on the desert, we passed the finish line and it wasn’t that difficult
I road a DRZ with 5 other friends from Las Vegas to Cabo and back, 4K miles. Absolutely amazing. Best time of my life

Oh my… flashbacks to my father trying to teach me how to coil ropes and electric cords… yea I still suck at it… (he was an electrical engineer and he really tried…I don’t think it stuck with my sister either)
The passion that is displayed here in the video is extremely moving. Listening to the kids talk and feeling their passion for this and their desire to be successful and do a great job is so amazing. Passion is the number 1 motivator. Passion can also lead to anxiety because of the extreme desire to be successful. But without passion what is the purpose? Adventure awaits and you are ready!

I betcha nice to have such wide open budget just to spend on truck upgrades. Just 4Runner went about 10/15 K in upgrades

@@ExpeditionOverland sure man just saying. I spent over 4 years maybe around 15/20 K myself. Just make sure people understand its very expensive hobby and no mix messages .plus just 10 k on broken engine . Sh... brakes and that can very expensive. There are many youtubers shown amazing places but the cost is always behind sense look like even RTT is 300 bucks. I think Ovelnding became like luxury camping and vacation.
But some of these RUclipsrs are got sponsorship from the manufacturer so we are paying in the end the cost of the equipment and its expensive . Any decent rack is 1K at least after installation. Any bumper is like 3 K simple lights kitchen can drive cost to 2K . I would like to see a better represent information by RUclipsrs

I have always enjoyed the storytelling and the equipment of expedition overland. The first 5 minutes of graphics took me out of the story because the story had not begun. The graphics were a high production and must have taken a lot of work but they did not add to the story, they took away from it. I'm sure there are more than 5 minutes of story line that have been told with those preparations and personal experiences. I have also always look forward to wonderful places, foods, and people. These are the reasons why I look forward to expedition overlands episodes.
I'm super glad that one of the young lads (Den) of The epic family road trio, finally decided to put away his cowboy hat for a more modern and cooler caps. Next step would be his way of dressing like he's in the Movie (The good, the bad and the ugly) 😀
