i have sound problems when using nvidia shadowplay, all recorded footage has this muffled waterfall like sound in the background and in game sound also gets muffled. anyway to fix this?

Thank you! I had this software all along but never knew how to operate it nor even how to open it. I was never able to use the inbuilt windows feature because something preventing it. Regardless, I glad I finally discovered how to use it now that I started to get into streaming.
If you have a lot of storage you can also bump up the bitrate and it looks even better. Oh, and if you chose in-game resolution it let's you increase the bitrate up to 130Mbps.

I tried it with Post Scriptum, a game that is not supported by Nvidia ShadowPlay, and it works like a charm.
I Don't know why Most of the Players who have RTX 3090 ... Prefer to use OBS Instead of RTX Itself Recorder Personally as i small PC End Player .. I Find NVidia is the Best Choice man, without losing performance or FPS :>

Abdullah Basim you can only record games. You can’t screen record just your screen. I’m pretty sure you can only record your games.

rockkiller124 So true. Whenever I record gameplay on OBS, the lag is so bad. Even when I adjust the settings it never works for me.

OBS is good but you cant just clip things you have to record everything
