Beautiful job on the video. You might want to alert users, that they may have two graphic GPUs in their machine. For instance, my RTX adapter was listed at the bottom of the screen under the first listed GPU AMD Radeon. Thank you!

Thanks for the note David! The trick to record OBS is pretty simple. You can launch multiple instances 😁 You can also set up additional profiles and scene selections so it looks like a fresh install.

Here's a question- can this be turned on and off during a live powerpoint presentation without the other side knowing if you're sharing screens to show them the powerpoint? Or is it possible to set up maybe a streamdeck to turn it on and off during presentations? Because my nephew was thinking that when we present to people, if we're just straight staring into the screen, it would be weird, but disengaging it mid-presentation to give the allusion that we're perhaps looking off to think about a question and then bringing his eyes back to the camera would make this all seem more natural.
Got this setup with personal laptop. I have the same one like you but the R4 with a 3080. If this only worked on Intel as my work laptop has Intel Iris Xe and is a solid machine but I live in NYC and work from home and sometimes the street sounds can interfere with my video calls.

This was helpful. I am running into an issue where when I have the Broadcast and OBS open at the same time I hear pops and crackles if I record audio, or even if I watch a video like yours. I am not recording anything or running a game or another application. Did you run into this?

my issue with Nvidia broadcast it does not remove noise from my mic at all. It still picks up all my keyboard noises like crazy when I try and use it. I specifically wanted it to remove the noise from my keyboard. Also, it does not remove other background noise for me either. There has to be something else going on.
@@mk._.n0mi03 Yes AC noise, fan noise, and keyboard clicks get picked it up like crazy with Broadcast for me and I could never figure out how to get it to work. I switched to obs and started using their sound filters and it really is like night and day. I was looking to use it for my mechanical keyboard clicking because my mic really picked up that noise but it also picked up my AC noise too. With the OBS filters, I use a noise gate, noise suppression, and compressor and have not noticed much background noise at all. I am not a big fan of obs for recording but I am leaning toward liking it way more than Shadowplay and everything. The multiple recording tracts and the noise canceling that actually works have been great.

hi, great video, as always. Question: This is a 3 year old video. In current version 2024, is there a way that i have a pre-recorded video captured from my phone or camera, and i somehow feed it to NVIDIA broadcast and does the same job, i.e., replace backround?
The Nvidia broadcast Mic option doesn't work. It doesn't receive audio. If I switch to my normal mic selection (in this case a Soundblaster Z) it works fine but doesn't do the noise removal.

Problems: AI is not perfect yet, so sometimes when your voice makes a sound which you want people to hear the AI will happily remove that sound. Also, IT CAN AFFECT YOUR MICROPHONE QUALITY DEPENDING ON HOW MUCH NOISE IS GOING ON. If not much noise = Best results If so much noise = Potato mic quality caused by AI
Kevin what is the difference between adding Nvidia as a source vice going to settings on the right of the app and selecting Nvidia as the audio microphone?
Oof i have gtx 1650 edit: OMG you helped me so much now i can actually use 100% of my mic instead of 70% tho i am using 110% i used 70% because when i used 100% it started doing weird noise but even tho i have gtx i can still use it and now its perfect thank you so much!

Also noise from a nearby fan. Yet i’ve seen videos of it able to silence a wind blower.
