The power sector is full of corruption, incompetence and constitutional problem. I just hope this new law for state to generate power will work, but I seriously doubt it. That's why they have load shedding (power cuts) The difference is that SA is continuously expanding its electricity production and at the beginning of 2024 launched bidding for more than 7600mw of new capacity and expects 5 500mw of gas projects to be online by 2026. Dam the water, and use it for power generation. If they really want it to work, then find out how other countries have managed to make it work. Adapt their methods to the Nigerian environment. It's that simple.
