You are the best when it comes to explaining Nigeria's situation, now I don't have to explain or argue with anyone. Appreciate the effort put into the research and making of your videos. Keep up the good work man.
You'd just send them this video.
People will always call out the fuel subsidy. But it is not the fuel subsidy but the organised crime around it and how people are taking advantage.. The ministries in Nigeria do not work. Anything that the minister says cannot be taken serious because God knows how much corrupt practices happen at the very bottom. Lord have mercy on us.
I hope that one day everybody in Nigeria will discover this channel which is meant for people that can reason. One love bro
Best solution is to refine your own fuel .... Then this whole conversation becomes a moot point ps thank you for the great videos
Jude, I highly recommend expanding your Nigerian investigative journalism videos to cover all African countries. By doing so, you will witness an exponential growth in your audience and reach. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in helping Africans gain a better understanding of the affairs across the entire continent. This expanded coverage will foster unity, expose corruption, promote accountability, empower citizens, encourage cross-border collaboration, and contribute to positive change throughout Africa. Don't miss out on this incredible opportunity to make a significant impact.
🌍
Thanks for this, will surely do.
@@realjudebelaYou're welcome, I'll be looking forward to it. I also recommend shedding light on leaders who have made positive impacts in their countries and those currently making a positive impact across Africa. Strive for a balanced coverage, showcasing both corruption and positive contributions. This approach will provide a comprehensive perspective and inspire change for the better.
You're not considering the danger he already faced and may face when exposing corrupt African leaders?
@@realjudebela Very good... What's the use of our refineries? The move to remove fuel subsidy should not be announced now until everything has been put in place to make the petroleum products available in abundance to Nigerians for like one to two months then the fuel subsidy will be removed even without any announcement. Because announcing good intentions and things like this gives our enemies as a nation the information on how to attack us. He shouldn't have announced it at all... If he's depending on the dangote refinery by announcing removal of fuel subsidy, the dangote refinery is an independent and private refinery which was built for profit making only. And he may even easily dance to the tunes of the enemies of Nigeria... So building and or repairing our refineries is the only way out of all these nonsense and this can only be achieved if we are not practicing democracy or if a President can rule like Russian federation and China
Stay with 9ja & foster unity there b4 any expansion. I don't think we'll see unity in the continent with countries like Ethiopia, Sudan fighting civil wars. Unity within nation states b4 bringing the continent into play.
"Except your children are goats" took me out 😂😂😂
Truly insensitive.
But I am convinced that it was not uttered intentionally.
It was meant to be a joke.
This absord remunerations given to senators, h/reps, governor, politicians, must be drastically reduced. They are part of Nigeria's economic problems.
Elizabeth, you're absolutely spot on!
Cost of running govt needs to be reduced.
As an Economist, i will say you did well in breaking the topic down to a layman's understanding while staying on track.
I really love your videos watching you live from Ghana 🇬🇭
Your videos are far above the standard of any other political reporting I have seen from Nigeria, thanks for delving into complex topics and informing well educated discussion.
Much love from Ireland 👏
Thanks
Finally I understand Fuel Subsidy
My wife was asking me about the fuel subsidy and explained to her the little that I know. After watching your video I just forward it to her to get the full gist. Thank you very much, Mr. Jude.
I love this era so much. I love you doing research and sharing knowledge like this. It’s always better to be enlightened with more information, that way we know what’s really going on.
As a Cameroonian I can convincely say you put out some of the best short documentaries about Nigeria and Africa on RUclips. The amount of research is just so Mind Boggling was here when you were at a 100subs now you are at 21k subs this just goes to say you are incredibly talented
3:29 This part right here always gets me, bro delivers high quality investigative documentaries, and still finds a way to make me laugh 😂😂, what more can I ask for.
I burst into laughter at that point too😂
😂😂😂
Thanks my man
I don't which one is even worse, Is it the inflated daily fuel consumption or the 167 billion Usd debt. I fear for the future of this country.
The problem of the nation is not bad leaders but rather it's a corrupt and bad attitude.
Thank you Jude, top notch investigative report, very detailed and easy to understand. I'm always anticipating something amazing whenever you drop a video and I've never been disappointed. Keep pushing Sir.
What do u mean by corrupt and bad attitude instead of bad leaders
He did a good job but still left out the reasons why the amount of consumption is always as it is.
Oil theft and diversion of fuel to neighbouring countries. That is where the answer lies. The downstream are not saints and take our subsidized petrol to Ghana, Niger, Benin, Chad and Cameroon. Anybody that is in doubt should find any random tanker driver and ask them how this is done.
Our security forces also aid in that because they are settled.
Guy! I'm not even Nigerian but I was so damn invested in this video 1000%. Thanks so much for breaking down the whole situation like this! Now, I get it.
Thanks boss 😄
Well done! I finally understand now. Watching from Zimbabwe.
Please never stop creating content! I hope you look more into Nigeria history. Thank you so much Jude
Very accurate analysis of the Nigerian situation. Brilliant.
New camera angle with newspapers about petrol as background💫
The way you narrate with comprehensible examples 👏🏼
Keep up the good work sire.
Thank you.

Sorry it’s coming late
Now I gerrit...!
Thank you Jude! Well-done...!!!
Good journalism. Please keep it up
You are doing a very good job
Nice hair cut Jude. Thanks for explaining the fuel subsidy. No one did it better, you are a great teacher.
The amount of fuel burnt daily in Nigeria is possible especially with power failure in the country. However, just like years back when cement policy made Dangote very rich, this fuel policy and his refinery will make him richer.
It's all a game and we are been played with our eyes wide open. E dey touch everybody.
Thanks. It’s a “scratch my back I scratch your back” situation for them.
@@realjudebela criminal britain and fulani has hijack indiginous nigerians .ask shell and dangote.😂

I've given up on trying to reason with the Government. They all just keep kicking the "can down the road"
Fantastic analysis Jude. Our country really needs help
Thanks so much man ur analysis is so apt and spot on💯✅
God bless u mightily
You’re incredibly good at breaking down complex stories with common sense terminologies. Thank you @Jude Bela 🫡 keep up the great work!!!!!
It’s sad that every day Nigerian 🇳🇬 citizens are suffering in the hands of this new government regime. Indeed “fuel subsidy is an organized crime” to favor the elite thieves
Thanks. Now that the subsidy is gone, I hope the government invest that money into public infrastructure to help the people.
I respect your views on this situation
What a people, what a nation. Thanks Jude for the time invested to do this.
This makes me cry.
My first time hearing of and listening to you. Good job bro

If you ever run for president of Nigeria one day, you will be miles ahead of any other candidate in developing a manifesto. I pray you do and win. You are too informed not to be involved in governance. I admire you. From a brother in Cameroon.
😃
Thank you for your kind words.
Thank you Jude for this

Well said in the conclusion...

Oh my dear brother Jude!!! ❤️
First who would in their right senses export a raw material only to go ahead and import the finished product? Only the Nigerian government.
Finished products are always more expensive than raw materials. What if those hilarious amount spent on subsidizing petrol was put into restoring our refineries?
Considering the cost of the just completed Dangote refinery we would have more than the number of refineries we currently do.
But of course if it enriches a select few then we should go ahead with it even if it's totally beyond comprehension and logical reason.
But is it that the four Refineries we have got bad beyond repair? Because I don't understand why an oil producing country wouldn't want to take every possible means to refine their own oil. It's same as saying a pastor don't want to own a Bible or a fisherman don't want to get a net
You Are The Best Lil Bro
Thank you just what i needed to understand
Thanks Jude, well detailed
Thank you so much for this ❤❤
You explain things so well. I wish there was (or I knew of) a channel like this for my country.
😄
Thanks. What country are you from?
@realjudebela I was born in Tanzania, but I'm looking for channels from DRC since I'm Congolese.
Oh okay. I will work to expand coverage of more African countries

Happy birthday again Jude.
I love your storytelling, very engaging and compelling.
Things are going to get worst before they get better.
thanks for another nice video, weldon. 20m liters is being smuggled daily from Nigeria, during subsidy. you will see how dramatically consumption will go down

Thank you Son for your HONEST and sincere expose ❤

Wonderful work boss
The truth of the matter is that there's nothing like fuel subsidy more than 80% of the petrol we use in Nigeria is refined in Nigeria by the bonclay guys
what is bonclay?

Very enlightening
How did we get ourselves into this mess?
So much personal interest in politics.
Revolution is what is needed. Personal interestv( corruption) has overwhelmed the resources of the country and its the masses that once again have to bear the brunt of the pain that is to come 😢 it's unfair! Who will come to our rescue?
Br you a guru analyst.Keep it up

Great piece, excellent delivery💯
Brilliant illustration and presentation! Brilliant !!!👍🏽
It sad to see what is happening in our country. Jude I can’t appreciate you enough for what you do. Thank for the insight. I’m your number one fan
Mad video.. Kept me engaged all through
Well done my young brother, you have actually told us how foolish our country think they are. They have nothing to contribute but steal that they are given. Everyone should remember this day that all Nigerians are experiencing because we all slept while they crept in to power like a thief in the night.
Learn don't throw up.. we are enjoying the video please
Fuel almost doubled in Angola last Friday as well. It's crazy here now I'm surprised it happened on the same day as Nigeria
Angola took their decision the next day after Nigeria took theirs.
