I live in Nova Scotia Canada and a plate of Indian food. Let’s say tiki marsala and two glasses of wine cost about $80. I would definitely pay 85 for that.
Bro, seeing a new Gareth Eats video is precisely what my soul has been craving! And a new one on the other channel earlier in the week! I feel like i am in heaven! I love you! So relieved to see you eating and smiling! Thank you!
I always laugh at people who say these high-end buffets are too expensive. A fast-food meal now costs $15 to 20. This buffet is only 5x that price but look at the quality and quantity that you're getting. I consider these high-end buffets one of the truly great deals in Las Vegas.
There’s no other way you can eat this much of a variety of dishes of this quality in a sitting for any less. It really is worth it when you want to indulge
That is an excellent point!! I'm glad I read the comment section! Now I can go there and not be freaked out paying the entry price. AND DON'T FORGET THEY DON'T TRY TO RUSH YOU OUT! Gareth was in there for almost 4 hours.
I'm so glad your well and back I'm the saddle. You are a strong, strong man who did not give up in the face of EXTREME challenges to say the least!. You're my hero man! You're very handsome too!😊😊❤❤
To get the meat out of a crab leg, first, massage the "thigh" (the bigger part of the leg). The massaging loosens the bond between the meat and the shell. After that, then break the leg in half quickly (not slowly). Then ease the meat out. In this way, you won't need to fish the meat out with the fork.
Absolutely the best, most entertaining review of Bachanal Buffet on RUclips, period!. LOL, I watched it a second time just as I ready myself to fly into Vegas this weekend, just for inspiration and mental preparedness. ; -)
That is an amazing buffet. The last time I was in Las Vegas they were building it, so I have not had a chance to visit yet. The food is all over the top in quality. I can see why they charge as much as they do. You did a great job comparing all the items. It's a tough job, but someone has to do it!
Haha, this was so much fun to watch! You were like a kid in a candy store the entire time. Good on you for starting with the expensive meats and seafood--pro move right there!
First post of your's I've seen and well done! With a bit of a restaurant background I'm astounded that all of that food only requires 40 chefs? That can't be right. Really great you talked to the head chef but that's unbelievable. That chunk of meat is the hugest piece I have ever seen on a buffet. Still watching -- best from Colorado!
I'm enjoying your content. Best food I ever had in Vegas was at Tommy's Rib and Steak house just down from the Algiers - both now sadly gone. A family run joint that catered for our wedding reception. Lovely people. It was a long time ago but the memories will remain.
Been to Vegas 60+ times. My favorite buffet is Ceasar’s for sure. My favorite restaurant is Ferraro’s Italian Restaurant on Paradise Road. The owner is Gino and his son Mimo, who run the show. I guarantee you will blow your mind. Nice reviews, and best wishes to you.
I first heard of Bacchanal when I asked where was the best lobster buffet. After this video *(ESPECIALLY* the brisket and roasted duck) it is #1 on my buffet list.
As someone from LaPorte Indiana, I know the exact place you’re talking about. I loved going there as a kid and it’s sad that there’s a mediocre Mexican restaurant in its place now. The Ryan’s that was in Michigan city was also good as well.
Omg! I think a fun destination wedding in LV with your small best family friends squad guest list followed by this premium buffet for the wedding dinner reception would be awesome! Everyone gets exactly what they love and as much they want ! Go clubbing for dancing and drinking afterwards 🎉!
Oh...easily. King crab legs wholesale are 25-30$ a pound!!(with the shell). You eat 2 lbs. (not as much as you think) and then eat a 16oz piece of prime rib and youv'e eaten as much as ypu paid for!!
Small world...I lived in LaPorte, IN. It was a brief stay. My family moved there the summer between my high school and college years so I was just there on breaks. It was 1975-1978. Waitressed at the Sambo's LOL. It's now some round-the-clock diner.
I wasn't going until i put 100 on red. It hit red 32. Took my winnings and hit the buffet on house money. I ate for over a hour. Lots of lobster claws and crab legs. The tacos were out of sight. Desserts were a work of art.
Absolutely I would, I love Vegas , will be going again the end of September, definitely going there , for us it's not so much about the money but the experience! Thank you
Haha great video. I live in Las Vegas and, believe it or not, there actually is life off the Strip. Lots of gambling and many many good restaurants that won't bankrupt you. Locals crowd ...different vibe completely. Every nite casino parking lots packed and people inside wining 'n dining themselves into oblivion. Some know when to leave, most don't. But one thing is for sure....everyone is having a great time....as long as the money holds out.
The M Resort has a Sunday brunch that features all-you-can-eat lobster tails It's much smaller and there are way fewer food choices but it's about the quality at this buffet rather than quantity. You should try that one if you love lobster. They also feature prime rib, beef Wellington and racks of lamb.
I ate lunch there in 2018 for $50 ( $5 tip included) it was a 2 hour time limit for lunch. My meal was marred by a minor mistake of sampling a Hot link. I had sample so many things by then. My mouth was on fire. The final 30 minutes were in the dessert section. I had to sample everything. With 5 minutes left to go. I did a Facebook live video. When, i got to the exit. That's where i saw them sitting up the Fish section. OMG !!
I would totally go there! It looks like they have everything people love to eat. It’s a great value when you consider all the seafood and meat choices. A prime rib dinner alone can run $40.00 and above. Great video.
I heard you mention that you were born in Laporte, Indiana. I'm also from Laporte. We both remember the old Ponderosa Steakhouse that was on Pine Lake Ave.
Omg! Gotta go tks! I was there when you mentioned Ponderosa in Chicago 😆 I used to go when we were good as kids 😆. Tks going when I go to Las Vegas this weekend.
If I ever go there, I won't eat anything for two days beforehand and will only eat the seafood and steak. But what I wonder about Gareth is that he eats so much but has a good figure.
I was there a few days ago. Super super fire. Wynn buffet was terrible. Then I went to bachannal. Totally different deal. Stay away from Wynn buffet and only hit bachannal
From Ohio and I used to go to the Ponderosa in Barberton Ohio. Great times but that food looks much more enticing than Ponderosa's ever did!!! Great Video I will visit there next time in Vegas.
Don't eat pizza or bread or any carby food except dessert. The trick is go for a late lunch as they put out the dinner menu. You pay for lunch as they bring out the dinner menu.
I was going to buy a house in Vegas but declined after knowing this: They have 2 1/2 months of over 100 degrees heat. During the daytime it's 110 degrees and at night 96 degrees, both of which is insufferable. I can't even walk my dogs out in that weather, day or night.
Seriously man? It's 22 degrees in the UK today 12th may 24. The first real good day of the year. I said to the wife I don't want a heavy dinner today. So I will do sandwiches, salad dips etc and some cheese cake with fresh cream. Now am starving watching this
I did this LUNCH time buffet a few times. No complaints. It was actually $59.99 when I was there. Did you two studs do the Supper time ?? its usually more money at night. A serious question: how big are the storage areas for all the food?? he said 2000 lbs of crab legs per day. Its mind boggling to think about.

The good old day you use to get a prime rib buffet in Vegas for about $12... I've paid $32 for a crab prime rib buffet in Deadwood SD... I've paid $32-35 for a big buffet at the Horseshoe in Council Bluffs Iowa... but $85 for a buffet???? That's over my budget... I remember the days in Vegas where the room's and food were cheap, drinks were free, and you could enjoy a nice vacation for about $1,000 playing nickel slots for 4 days... Now? It's very expensive and every machine has 140 lines... I miss the old Vegas... Dollar Slots were $2-$3 a pull and you could play for a day on $100...I remember one time I was on a streak... cashed a $100 travelers check...on $20 over the week... I made $8,000 on $200 jackpots...
There used to be the best seafood buffet at the Rio. The last time I went there it was $39.99 all you can eat. I believe they closed some years ago. No I would not pay $85.00 to eat there.

I eat about $5 worth of food at a time, so I wouldn’t. But, I’d love to have all those options!
Yes I have and we are going again July 12th a little pricey but if you choose right it worth it
I live in Nova Scotia Canada and a plate of Indian food. Let’s say tiki marsala and two glasses of wine cost about $80. I would definitely pay 85 for that.
Right 👍🏿
The trick is don't eat anything with bread, and try not to drink a lot until the very end
I was their a few weeks back. I never go to buffets but kept hearing about this one. It's definitely worth the $85, and I I'll be back.
Inflation. I paid $50 a few years ago. No need to go back at that price, but IT IS good!
@@we5xz-gt1 The price depends on what time you go. Dinner is the most expensive because of the options.
@@baltimorejae7397 makes sense but I still feel the same way about my experience there.
Was there a couple years ago! Took me hours to work off that wonderful food.

Pro move starting with the pricey protein extravaganza🐷🍖 The tonkatsu..."It's authentic" had me crying laughing 🤣

Agreed...
Agree, Las Vegas is twice the price of your local area when it comes to eating out (including fast food). So $85 is actually a good deal.

I would have at least 5 plates of seafood alone
is that soooooooooooo

Gareth, Everything just looked delish! Loved this review!❤

Pizza and bread within the first couple of minutes... amateur move
My exact thought. Would have passed on that 🍕 😂
It’s all about percentages
I first heard of Bacchanal when I asked where was the best lobster buffet. After this video *(ESPECIALLY* the brisket and roasted duck) it is #1 on my buffet list.
So freaking funny how impressed you are about the warm deserts. 😂
I was in LV over Easter Sunday a few years ago. Stood in line for the Bacchanal, had to bail because it took forever. Still have never been 😭

I appreciate your commitment to the accent when pronouncing the names of the Mexican dishes. 🇲🇽🙂
