On having a super-niched website: "People are like, 'it's so limiting.' Do you know what's not limiting? My income. That has opened the world to me." Just like your awesome courses, this is so inspiring! Thank you, Shelley and Jared. What a great interview.
One of the most useful videos on affiliate marketing I've seen - and I love Niche Pursuits content in general, so much useful information packed in, thank you.
The best interview I’ve seen so far, it inspired me to launch two more websites!!! Thank you Shelley and Jared! Would love too see follow up interview with Shelley please 💕
So I signed up for her free training. Great content it's better than paid courses. She is clearly the real deal. It's clear to me her principles have made her successful. It has become evident to me that all successful entrepreneurs live by principles.
Nicee, love this channel, showing me all the stuff I need. Specifically for travel blogging, I've basically been traveling for 12 years. I think for travel blogging and email, maybe if your focussed on a specific city, target expats as well as there's an overlap between tourist and expats, generally wanting to know many of the same stuff
Loved this so much Shelley! This was such a great interview with so many ideas I’m excited to implement on my own blog! Thanks so much Jared and niche pursuits team!
Really enjoyed discovering your channel and being introduced to Shelley's experience. It's encouraging for an aspirational blogger like me. "A lot can happen in a year!" I hope to make it on your show one day! :)
I agree with the hidden keywords! Sometimes there are real gems in there. Some of them aren't though :P The lowest traffic I got on a "0 volume" keyword is actually 70 Views per month.
Great interview, thank you. Quick question. It looks like the blogging 101 course checkout page links do not work. I get an error somehow. Can you please verify this? Thanks!
No. And while you're at it, start a cooking blog. Apparently your can get rich by stealing content and creating liquid quality bs posts. Go for it. It's basically legal fraud
Would definitely like more info about how she is sourcing the images for her blog posts without violating either an affiliate agreement or copyright. It seems a bit “don’t ask, don’t tell” to me.
I also wondered. Is it ok to just repost sometthing on Instagram or Facebook and credit the author? Or, does she contact them first for permission and get that in writing? Or?
@@destinationunknownfamilythat's clearly not enough but ok😂 try doing that with a movie. Upload it to RUclips with full credits. Good luck. Sadly the Instagram dude probably won't sue. So congrats, your built your earnings by stealing. That's theft, that's illegal and that's for people without conscience or moral compass. Go ahead, celebrate this behaviour
Not knowing what you're doing or why you're successful makes it extremely difficult to repeat.. I feel like that's a really terrible thing to ignore.. and having 100+ posts with a vast majority of the content and revenue coming from 5-10 posts alone is terrifying for long term stability.. I feel nervous for her to be honest. Super rad that she's built what she's built so far, but she really needs to dig in and figure out what led to the success so she can repeat it
Could be not too bad. She said she was niched down. From what I understand the local/regional travel folks weren’t hit as hard as the general travel sites.
Is there a place where I can get help with affiliate marketing? Like someone who can do it for me or show me how to do it properly? I have a site with 80k visitors per month. Only getting 2-400 dollars per month in ad revenue. I think I need help. :D

I have one blog and it's currently bring in $300 - $500 per month. Hopefully it'll get better soon.
Drop the link to your blog so you can get more traffic.
How old is it and how many articles if you don't mind me asking? About to start my site.

She's awesome. It was one of the best ever on the show.
Awesome, thank you!
“We are people made out of people stuff” greatest quote ever!!! Lol. Great interview Shelly!
haha :)
dude i am such a new fan of both of you guys.
happy holidays ❤
I’ve always wondered about linking to your own sites. Sounds like that’s something that is successfully boosting your newer sites.
“We’re all just people made of the same people stuff.” So many gold nuggets.
Can't wait to listen to this tomorrow,I'm on Asian time right now lol. Thanks for the great interview!
Thanks, Shelley... You are great.
I love these interviews. Go, Shelley, go!
One of your best episodes so far, not a usual bs about seo and so on.. thank you.
This woman is a rockstar. Special kudos because she loves Mexico as much as me. Very inspirational story. Thanks to both of you.

Which host would you suggest we get? Also the theme?
Absolute 🔥🔥🔥... that's tech-startup paced growth 🚀
Jared your new lighting set up looks great
This was a really good video, thanks for sharing and the tips!
Thanks so much! Great interview
Awesome interview! So inspiring! 🎉 Thanks for sharing.
A question to include for travel blogger would be how they would get the images
Fantastic interview.

Thank YOU FOR inspiring !
What hosting service and theme did she change too?
Great interview, thank you.
Quick question. It looks like the blogging 101 course checkout page links do not work. I get an error somehow. Can you please verify this? Thanks!
Thanks Shelly two questions
what theme did you end up with
are you using optimization software...thanks god bless greg
Shelley - what template do you use now and what host? :)
I’m inspired - how do I find your blogging course
Do you have to travel to start a travel blog?
nope
No. And while you're at it, start a cooking blog. Apparently your can get rich by stealing content and creating liquid quality bs posts. Go for it. It's basically legal fraud
What theme did she change to?
What does she mean by doing collaborations for link building? Is that guest posts and link exchanges?
Yup. But instead of it being an automatic feature of a blog like 20 years ago, now you HSBC to beg for it in Instagram DMs😂 have fun
You guys need to change the YT thumbnail, it says $52k in 1 yr, not $52k in one month (she made $52k in December, per your blog article)
Clickbait
You don't understand English
That was great!

She speaks about that in a quick video on her FB group.
She does link back and give credit to her images in the photo caption.

Wondering how it works after helpful content... ;)
This is awesome

Finished the video, I don't think she mentioned which hosting she transferred and theme she changed to get the booost. Did I miss anything?
Did I spy correctly? Was the new theme Kadence and new host 20i?
Not sure about the host, but theme is indeed Kadence.
Why would the host matter? 😂
100% organic traffic or paid ads?
Most of the affiliates are struggling with getting links.
How is she doing now?
