iOS 16 and I do not have the option to remove all the doctors but I do have the option to turn off headphones but every time I connect my adapter it thinks headphones are connected. What should I do?
Hope I could get help here. After ios 16.3 update, my iphone can't play music on an external music system via lightning adapter. It used to work before this update. I borrowed another iphone with the same ios version, and this connection works. Guess some setting must have been inadvertently changed by the ios update. How to change it back to normal? Your enlightening would be much appreciated.
@@dennyd3018 I put Bluetooth on my iPhone 7 and plugged the lightening adapter and earphones and it still plays through speaker and still does not give the option to recognize adapter plugged in 😭
if you have iphone x or later i suggest connecting the adapter then open bluetooth and play music then open from the music where you want to play your music from like you are using a bluetooth speaker
I’ve bought a headphone adapter for my iPhone 11 Pro Max but it doesn’t work. I’ve tried on other phones like iPhone 8 and iPhone 12 Pro Max and it worked , it only doesn’t work on mine. In your video there’s an option “ forget all adapters” I checked my phones settings that option doesn’t exist . I don’t know what other solutions there are for my issue! Also, when I plug in the adapter, the phone doesn’t find it, it doesn’t show any options as if I haven’t plugged it in.
If you can’t find the Lightning option, you should connect the adapter with ur iphone via bluetooth. After the adapter is connected, click on it to see the drop-list of functions, and then choose Headphone. I just tried on my ip13 and it works.
@@Acid_nugget it'll show an option to allow new devices to connect, after you do that some weird name with show up like audio connect or in my case in iphone13 pro it showed 'sound connect ' after you click on it, the adapter will get connected

I have iphone 11 it was working without any pop up msg and then suddenly stopped working the music came from speaker Bluetooth not showing anything that i can connect to no Lighning apdaptor

Thank you for your message. Was that a genuine Apple adapter or one you bought online? Try clearing the adapter settings first before connecting the adapter to remove any cache settings it might already have stored on your iPhone 8.

Damn it’s not even giving me this option when connected it still plays through the speaker like nothings happened no prompt at all
just open bluetooth then try playing music then open the option where you select where your music has to play then select lighting

This used to work for me (forgetting the adapters) but it seems they removed the option to do so…
