My brother can u ask u a question ..I have an electric mtb from Luna cycles called the x1 .it's got 120 mm of travel with standard mtb forks . I grew up on dirt bikes so the downhill forks are dope ..looking and perf. How would u buy downhill forks for it ? Or am I stupid for thinking this is a good idea but really it's not .please help .I don't see anyone talking clearly about it

Not good for quick turns needed in city center. It is difficult to use techniques such as standing. The rebound area is long, so it has excellent riding comfort with long travel, and it is soft without fatigue for a long time. The higher the front, the easier the downhill. Conversely, uphill control becomes worse. Summary: Since the thick fork stanchion looks manly, tough and cool, most of them are satisfied with it and use it. In particular, the color of Fox's Kasama coating is so attractive. (Think of it as building a cool custom motorcycle.)
