Northwest OHV Park is a Jeep Badge of Honor offroad park and is located NW of the DFW metroplex. Although NW OHV Park is local to us, this was our first time out there. This trip, we were on a pre-planned route that wasn’t too difficult since there were some newer drivers and stock vehicles with us. Our group consisted of several KL Cherokee Trailhawks, an XJ Cherokee, and 2 WK2 Grand Cherokee Trailhawks. We need to get back out there soon, as it was a lot of fun and there is a lot more park to explore.
An OHV sticker is required for this park (at least it is for residents, not sure about our-of-staters).

It’s fun watching 3 different spotters giving for different directions at the same time
LOL. We try to designate one person, but it’s instinct when they aren’t going the same way you would. When my wife is spotting, I just don’t pay attention to anyone else.
At least there wasn’t any “Go, go, go, whoa!”
Hahaha!!
I was out there as well. If you are interested a bunch of us are going to hidden falls oct 9th.
With what group? I may be headed back there with Tx Trailhawk Trailriders soon, but we haven’t set anything in stone. Thx for the invite!
@@gspfunk Not a specific group. Just a bunch of folks from the forum/ friends. If you go I will be in the hyper green 2d rubicon.
@@raymondadams2673 Awesome! I’ll let you know. BTW this is FunkyWK2, but my personal account. :)
@@funkywk2 I uploaded a few videos from there as well if you want to see some of the trails we did. Did you happen to do any of the night riding?
We watched some of them last night and recognized a bunch of the trails. We didn’t do a night ride yet.
Hoping to get some of that in when we go to MERUS in Nov.
Im always hitting that voice call button too. Super annoying. Your response was about what mine are.
Tons of fun! Do you have video of the Gladiator and GMC Envoy going up the hill around the 10 min mark?
I do! If you want to message me on IG or something, I can get that to you.
@@gspfunk What's an Insta...gram? No Facebook either. You kids and your new fangled technology.
Ha! Give me a day or 2 and I’ll get it posted for you.
Here you go!

@@funkywk2 this is awesome thank you!
Do you have a group you ride with here in Texas? My wife and I have a lifted WK2 and are looking for a group to wheel with at Bridgeport and other parks.
Yes! On FB-it’s the Texas Trailhawk Trailriders. You don’t have to have a TH, just be equipped like one (skids, rock rails) and be willing to go wheeling and camping.
What exhaust are you running? Sounds good
It’s all stock, but it’s the 5.7 instead of the V6.
@@funkywk2 oh nice! I have a 5.7 but it’s definitely quieter
Maybe it’s just from the outside? I’m considering taking off the stock resonators and replacing them with Jones or Vibrant resonators that I can tuck up under the back end more.
@@funkywk2 yeah I’m thinking of doing the same. Removing the rear resonators. From what I hear it isn’t too loud but sounds pretty good
You’ll get some drone inside. Just unbolt your driver’s side muffler and cruise around the block if you want to test it out. The passenger side has to be cut if you aren’t replacing all of it.
