Well said
It's really sad, yet not everyone understands what was wrong, when it comes to such situations like that.
That first ladies parents were ahead of their time. Good on them, and good on her for listening to her parents rather than the societal pressures that were in place back then.
Agreed.
Everybody gangsta until old lady hits table and leaves

In my WWYD viewing experience, the older people in these scenarios are the most passionate (in a good way for good causes). If you’d like demonstrations, I recommend the one about the customers bullying the stuttering waiter and the teenager with the peanut allergy.

The first woman made an important point, that her parents taught her to view everyone as equal. Hate is TAUGHT. Look at how little children play - they know no prejudice.
the way that white woman spoke up, stood up and stormed out of the establishment - made me cry. I have never in my 31 years of life ever seen or heard a white person defend us publicly, and out loud, and for no gain. Other than the fact that she was genuinely believes we deserve to be treated justly, fairly and equally. Just wow

As a white guy I deal with very little prejudice--one time I witnessed it so bad I'll never forget it. Walking into a Best Buy one time, I saw 3-4 black teens leaving. They set off the alarm. Security checked them like they might have stolen the Hope diamond. Nothing found and on their way. When my wife and I left, we also set it off. "Don't worry about it...just go through" same guy said. WTF? why not check us? I got really pissed and did ask for the mgr. I am still upset today. I cannot imagine living every day with that kind of target every where you go.

I completely know that. The experiments are not real, but the reactions are.
This episode is bullshit, the real problem is not black discrimination ( the proof is everyone reacted appropriately so it is well anchored that people should not be treated differently because of their color), the real problem is about young people (particularly those of color) who most of the time have to prepay. This is the real issue, waitresses don't trust young folks because they are more prompt to leave without paying.
She's my hero! She wasn't having it!

Yeah, Y’all i wouldn’t even respond to someone without a photo.
I mean with all the videos I've seen especially the one where a group of black folks walk out after ordering $420 worth of food I'd make them prepay too.
This same thing happened to me at a nail salon when I was 18. I went by myself to a nail salon so that I could get peace from a house I was living in that was hectic. My sister gave me money to get my nails done and a tip to give to the nail tech ( I had my own money but she was treating as my birthday had just passed). The moment I walked in the salon I noticed that people that came in after me were taken to a chair before me ( Keep in mind I had an appointment and I got there 30 minutes earlier just so I didn't miss my name being called) Long story short I don't get called until 20 or 30 minutes after my initial appointment time this was after asking the manager why he was taking walk ins before me. All the walk ins were not Black but I gave him the benefit of the doubt then when he finally clears a chair for me he tells me that I have to pay for my service first. I had been to other nail salons with my older sister and knew that wasn't protocol so I called the man out on it while the various white and Mexican people kept their head down. No one spoke up and it hurt a lot at the time because although some people may intend on stealing I did not. It was a poor area and they were the only nail salon is close proximity to me. So I ended up pre paying and notified the manager that I would not be tipping because of how disgusting it made me feel that they insinuated I was a thief based on me being black. After the service was finished the man apologized and told me they can never be too sure about people. It didn't really matter I haven't been to a nail salon since and I'm in my 20s now.
