The fact that the first woman cried when she wasn’t even the primary victim of the civil rights movement…. It must have been so horrible to witness, let alone be a part of.
I was born 1993 and even I felt moved by that woman's experience. I am blessed to not have been there to witness so much hate back then, but I would be lying if I didn't say I have seen that hate but in a smaller dose RIGHT to my face. I can't imagine seeing the world we live in now and then seeing the 60's that woman just mentioned. Even though she wasn't the primarily victim of that memory, the way her old neighbors just turned on her family for showing just a little kindness shows that she suffered. Amazing how far we have come as a society and how much further we have to go. I just hope that kindness and tolerance continues to grow and spread.
Well I would argue she became a primary victim when her awful neighbors started discriminating against her when she welcomed the marginalized group of people in town.
It's sickening that there are narrow minded a-holes even to this day, it's time for americans to start seeing themselves as one people. No matter the ethnicity, nationality, religion, sexuality, income level or national status they are all americans.
This one touched my heart. I was adopted by a white couple. They have given me everything and more. I would not change my life for anything. The last guy reminded me of my dad. Sadly my FATHER FRIEND AND HERO PAST AWAY IN APRIL. 2019. HE was the kindest man you could me. To him he saw no color. He saw people and he loved everyone. I miss you dad.
You will see your dad, the wonderful man, in heaven when the time comes. He will be there to embrace you again just like he did before. May our Lord Jesus Christ bless you

@The Truth I am genuinely sorry if I sounded proud. But even Adam and Eve weren't created from a single type of dust, dust comes in many forms may it be white, brown, black or all in between. You can't just ignore what is true. You may paint me as evil or a hater but races do exist you can't ignore something which is quite apparent a black person differs than a white person on my levels and it's true but assuming a black person is less than a white person is absolutely wrong. Please don't try to ignore something factual with mere emotions.
@The Truth I totally get where you are coming from But you can't deny something which is simple biology. God created many variations of genes for our own protection. Black people are black because Africa is a really hot continent with high hours of sunlight while white people originate from countries with cooler weathers. I meant no disrespect to anyone. I was trying to point out the truth nothing wrong in that. We have to overcome our differences but in a more truer manner, people usually sound dumb when they try to ignore their God given knowledge. Its your own personal decision to look beyond colour but I personally think that the stigmas associated with these races should be eradicated rather than just comforting ourselves with lies because at the end of the day a black person is black while a white person is white, and if you deny this than you yourself are an hypocrite.
@The Truth Africans are dark skinned due to high content of melanin in their skin epidermal and dermal tissue. The African continent has the highest UV radiation in the planet so it's no coincidence that darker skin will absorb and emit more radiation than a light skinned person could, this is basic biology and physics. If you don't want to view god's grace with the gift of science then only God can help u indeed.

Adler Bertigo, I agree. But...she’s a little girl. 👧🏻 I don’t know if kids that young will understand the racial hatred discrimination these Karen’s are saying in the video. 📹
Yes, a child adopted by parents of another race might miss out on important cultural experiences. But the child having a safe, loving home is more important! Besides, they can still participate in their culture and the adoptive parents can research how to include that culture in their home!
Love has no color, anyone can have love for a child and there should't be any barrier's for them,if a family adopts a child from another race,it should be up to the child, because if the child grows up and starts being more comfortable with the family then they shouldn't be deprived,l was with a Black Woman for over 15 years, and l was with her when one of her nephews was born and he grew up knowing me like a real uncle,so the same way he sees me would probably would be the same way the kid would feel if grew up knowing his adopted parents,a kids happiness is very significant.

I was adopted by a white family and I’m black. I might have not had the same experiences as my black friends but I do love my family and they are trying their best.
Seriously, this experience thing is being blown out of proportion. You are a human. You dont need to feel like you need to go through some specific experience based on your skin colour. Bless their hearts bc I can relate. I have a biracial daughter whose father abandoned us denying paternity and because I couldn't raise her alone for personal reasons, my sister adopted her as an infant by upon my request and she's 2 now and very well cared for and loved. Interracial families are beautiful.
🧡 very good solution. It may not have been an easy one but I think you did the right thing.

Perfectly said
