I have followed Alex about a year now. I’m an experienced driver myself since 1994 but I find Alex is a solid, dependable voice for the next generation of younger drivers. Alex is still learning about every aspect of the lifestyle and he’s not afraid to post about both his good and bad days. He’s a keeper for GP in my opinion.

I don’t know if it’s coincidence or not, but I was hired around the same time Alex quit and given V22050, which was his old truck. I’ve been here with Variant for 6 months now and plan on switching to GP as well for pretty much the exact same reasons.
I’m a runner. I like to average 3k miles a week since I know I can drive 600 miles a day. But here at Variant, you’re lucky to reach 1k miles. One of my more recent loads delivered in Cali Saturday. I made it down there Thursday, took a 32 since I was early, delivered, and didn’t get my next load until Thursday of the next week. I sat there for 4 whole days before they could find me another load. And it’s constantly been like that for a while now…there’s always a multi-day waiting period between loads for me.
The final straw is that I was only given 600 miles last week and just know my check is about to be around $300. I’m OTR. I was making almost triple that locally while being home every day.

I have been following Alex for a long time. I know he is so happy to be working for GP Transco. I now am working on my CDL and hope to one day soon be a team driver. I hope one day I will get a chance as well. Every thing I have seen looks like a great company to but some good years with. Be safe out there.
It's funny because normally I wouldn't be able to watch 30 minute plus videos, but I'm always able to watch his all the way through, there's just something so intriguing about seeing how it's all done.

Been following Alex for a while. While he is only a kid to me (I'm 63) his wheel skills are beyond his years. I know he won't block the fuel island or wash his truck with the squeegees. Never seen him wearing flip flops. This country could use a bunch more just like him.

I gain the experience but not the pay. Looking into another job, GP Transco is at the top of my list. I can’t wait till orientation and to see what GP is really about. I love watching your videos that you post. I miss driving but I can't drive anymore because of the wreck that I had in October of 2009. I also watch 2 other drivers shows because that's how bad I miss it. Good to see that you have moved up in your life. Keep up the great work and always have safe trips wherever the loads take you.

Would not support this company knowing they highlight this kid, just because of his social media following in order to promote their own brand. Despicable. He consistently shows his lack of knowledge and basic trucking skills. He consistently complains and blames drivers around him for no reason other than to do so, and yet he is good for the brand? I have told all of my coworkers and trucking friends about his channel, and they agree with this perspective. Do better GP Transco. This makes you look like a beginner trucking school, not a company.
