The musical version came out officially in 2005. This is an adaptation to that
"A bold new take", that's a bad sign right there. As always, just stick with the original film.
Unless they lean in on Taraji and Fantasia being lovers like in the book, it's a hard pass for me
These kind of movies need to be banned .I hated the first one .How she goes from Little Mermaid to practically a slave .Foh Hollywood making her look stupid .Black peoples need powerful movies today not this crap .
