HIDDEN FIGURES is the incredible untold story of Katherine G. Johnson (Taraji P. Henson), Dorothy Vaughan (Octavia Spencer) and Mary Jackson (Janelle Monáe)-brilliant African-American women working at NASA, who served as the brains behind one of the greatest operations in history: the launch of astronaut John Glenn into orbit, a stunning achievement that restored the nation’s confidence, turned around the Space Race, and galvanized the world. The visionary trio crossed all gender and race lines to inspire generations to dream big.

"I wouldn't have to, I'd already be one." I love that.
Yes! That's my favorite line.
Tritto. And delivered by the great songstress Janelle Monáe. No surprise this looks *very* promising. I will be there opening weekend.
*drops the mic*
Eric Blair Why would I join a bunch of idiots rioting about a situation they don't know anything about?
Eric Blair How did you get that?
"Every time we have a chance to get ahead, they move the finish line! EVERY TIME!" 😭😢
that line was so much truth
+Flurryisaniceword "you people" are you kidding me? you should be ashamed of yourself.
Had to delete the racist. Write your own comment, don't place your hatred on mine!
That's my favourite quote in this trailer! I can't wait to see this film, it's too bad we have to wait until next year though. :(
+Flurryisaniceword We're violent but you're on a video where no one is doing anything but looking at a movie and you're harassing people.
Now this is the type of positive black movies we like to see. Get away and i mean far away from the slave narrative that has been hammered into the brains of the populace for the past decade and a half. I can't wait to see more movies like this being produced! Defiantly will support this.
Exaclty! Usually the movies focusing on Slavery are just cheap Oscar wins, we need more strong black people rather than held back by chains.
Definitely*
If it was an accident, then it's fine. But man, if that was intentional..
Not to mention those cringe-worthy, borderline blacksploitation Tyler Perry films.
My point is that we have had enough of those produced already. I would like to quote one of my many favorite authors who said, "Show a people as one thing, only one thing, over and over again, and that is what they become." - Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie
no. we don't. We get vivid details from our grandparents. My father was black and I learned a lot from his mother(my grandmother) making these slave movies only remind whites how good they had it once. We need reminding. We were always strong. Before slavery. Slavery just showed the strength we already had. We don't need slave movie to tell us that
Not only am I happy that this movie exists, but I'm even happier that it exists with this INCREDIBLE cast. Hell yes!
I just saw the movie. Such a wonderful cast and a very inspiring story. I plan to watch it again and again.
@@sallyhanley9094 you morons know that these characters were extremely exaggerated right? almost nothing in the movie actually happened other than some black women worked lower level positions in NASA. All the racism scenes were completely made up out of thin air.
And if you doubt it, why don't these women name names of those who worked at NASA who were this racist? Surely many are still alive and should be held accountable. They won't name names because they know it is all made up or seriously embellished.
@@nickdipaolofan5948 why are you so offended that America is extremely racist? LOL you think the bathroom scene was completely made up? That makes your white skin feel better?
@@nickdipaolofan5948 They weren't spoken of because they were hidden figures and people didn't want to talk about the black woman in history. Also get it through your head that people can be and still are racist. Have you ever seen what people did to people with colored skin in those days? Smh.
@@nickdipaolofan5948 You seem to be suffering from extreme stupidity. Should have sought help but looks like it's too late.
Remember guys
Pro black doesn't mean anti white.
And pro women doesn't mean anti men.
Now let's reverse roles and see what happens.....Smh
^ You can't "reverse the roles". It doesn't work that way, men and white people aren't oppressed.
***** Go tell that to daily white male cops that trying protecting our societies but instead gets hatred because a few other cops did something bad...
I get that white males weren't oppressed before but now they certainly are. Btw this is coming from an Indian male.
It doesn't matter how you feel. You have to be able to prove that they are being oppressed through historical data. Not based on how you feel, or your perception of media. It's not a "few" other cops dude, do some research. It's not just white cops either, and it's not just males. There is a reason people are angry at the system.
Transfixx Sorrry my English is very bad. (Not my nativ language)
NASA from black women's perspective and women in STEM, this film is right up my alley :D
Same 😄 +
Yeah it's an inspiring story, from a time when they faced actual oppression. Inspiring for black women today. Hope it encourages more people to take the STEM route. We need more women like these, not more gender studies graduates trying to be women like these.
+Shookt yes but they then go on to complain about a lack of women in stem and create a cycle of encouraging gender studies and complaining again. encouraging a victim mentality isn't getting us anywhere.
+Shookt
Sure, but dont complain youre being oppressed with your useless gender studies major.
Women complaining that they cant find a job with their gender studies major are simply retarded.
+Shookt Lack of opportunities? Guess you're not up to date, a Cornell study found that they were hiring women in STEM fields 2:1 over men with equal qualifications on track for tenure. The women that DO apply are much more likely than men to be hired meaning they have more opportunity. The only problem is that girls/women do not study STEM majors as much which is their responsibility.
Its equal rights I have the right to see fine in every color
Jessie I know that's right!! Lol!
Jessie - love that line- lol
Jessie - love love that line
Yassss
Yes :P
Thanks for supporting my Auntie Katherine and her awesome career. ❤We always knew her story growing up but it still makes me smile to see it being told by Hollywood.
Yo🙏
BRO THATS SO COOL YOUR AUNT IS AMAZING
Ohhhhh! You are lucky!
shieeeeeet, congrats!!!
As someone who has followed the space program for 55 years and who worked (briefly) at NASA myself, I am so looking forward to this film. Looks great.
Nice.... I'm actually starting to break the surface on that exact topic. I'm a computer & app programmer and also engineering backgrounds.
I wouldn't get my hopes up. I remember looking forward to The Imitation Game, but the filmmakers literally skipped over Alan Turning's accomplishments, or any explanation of why his machine was such a feet of ww2 era genius, in order to give the audience bad Oscar bait. Scientists of Color and/or the LGBTQ community should have their contributions given the attention that Chris Nolan gave the physics in Interstellar. I think it does scientists and students alike a disservice.
+Flurryisaniceword You're a pig who lives to spread hatred get a better hobby.
+LaQuan Sykes a computer programmer and an engineer... God that sounds fun. How did you manage both?
+Flurryisaniceword does the guy in the picture like he would be the target demographic of affirmative action to you?
"I see fiiine in every color"
🙌
LoL I always say this to my friends
I say that with every gender too. :P
Love her!
AMEN TO THAT!!
Finally a movie with a new type of storyline instead of the same old Hollywood mess about women being emotional types that fall in love and need to be saved in some sort of way.
Powerful and smart women who just happened to be black and live through a racist era of history.
All I've seen the past years were films promoting women, this film is the same hollywood mess.
Also these 3 black women don't even exist you moron, there was one white woman that actually helped a lot when it comes to reaching the moon, that's it. They now turned her into 3 black women for this film, very disrespectful towards the real woman.
www.amazon.com/Hidden-Figures-American-Untold-Mathematicians-ebook/dp/B0166JFFD0/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1481140927&sr=1-1&keywords=hidden+figures
These women are real. Here, educate yourself.
***** How can you say this story isn't fake in any way, if one of the people being portrayed is actually white. The people who made this film clearly don't care about being accurate if they change the skincolor of one of the people. The woman is still alive as well. I think it's very disrespectful towards her.
Whoopsie DayZ I agree but it's not like it didn't happen before. There was an African American soldier that did something heroic and in the movie he was portrayed as white. Just like there have been North African soldiers during WWI and II but they have all been white washed. So...
“And its not because we wear skirts, its because we wear glasses.”
love it.
What a inspirational and uplifting movie that shows genius is beyond skin color
hambone31000 Not black men
That's so true. Genius is beyond skin color and gender.
I plead the 5th I can't beleive people this ignorant exist.
sadly for you, but most of the genius are withe skin.
Don't buy into trying to prove something. Nothing to prove. "quadroon" yikes that ones livin' under a rock. Great people has nothing to do with colour.
Imagine how tough it was back then for women to work anywhere including NASA? Times it by a million and you still won't come close to how tough it must have been for these black women to be accepted and respected there. .
Can't wait to watch this movie.. It's about time the world gets to hear this story...
@warrcc c Did you even see the movie? Katherine have to fill her own coffee pot because she's the only black person in the space task group, she even have to run a mile just to take a piss because there's no colored restroom in the building where she works.
Alabyo Seulgi some white people refuse to see racism even when it is standing directly in their face! Catherine white colleagues treated her horribly! She couldn’t piss in THEIR bathroom, drink from THEIR coffee pots and there was little to no support with her completing her job! Her immediate supervisor blacked out most of the data on the files she was assigned to read! This was horrible treatment but some white racist would call this treatment lovely ☹️
@@allthingsnew4348 Black people would just love it if this revisionist history were true. Most black people would literally pay you to say something racist online just so they could get another chance to be professional victims & keep playing their race cards which expired the day Obama took office. Black people hated when Obama became president because they knew it was the end of their LONG LONG gravy train. But they STILL want to play the race card every time they don't get their way. Always expecting special treatment and then they want to call everyone else racists when they don't get it.
liquidbraino you’re right! .....because racism don’t and never exist correct????... and us black Americans are just making up all these horrible events in history that happen to us as a people and even this movie is a made up make believe story correct?? The people and the events in this movie never ever happen 🤣lol it’s allll just a fictional non historical fairy tale of a movie correct ??? ... there is no way in hell one can research these people or events in this movie to confirm any of it correct???...because white Americans have been so so so good to us black Americans and we are all a bunch of complainers lol 🤣😂😂😅 you must be mentally ill if you think like this very detached from reality and since you know soooo many blacks because you stated what most of us blacks would pay for in your post than you are clearly an expert on black Americans such a scholar u are LoL
@@arlandeetagaytayan4154 Who says the movie portrayed those events accurately? I doubt they even got the accents correct. This was the same NASA that actively recruited black scientists from the south in 1963 just two years after this film is supposed to have taken place so I have a feeling a LOT of the events didn't really happen.
Yes to a world where Taraji P. Henson is smarter than Sheldon Cooper. Lol HERE FOR THIS
LMAO
LMFAO

Smarter, prettier, and MUCH more personable than Sheldon! Looking forward to seeing this...
RIP Katherine Johnson, our country has lost a National treasure.
I'm amazed I don't ever remember in the school textbooks or history channels or any of that stuff teaching me how these three black women were part of this NASA project, it's been 55 years or so and we barely know now??????, I mean that's kind of awkward, everyone knows about the paperclip project everybody knew they were former Nazis and were given recognition and awards and took more than half a century for these women to be acknowledged???
Daniel The man do you deny this ever happened?????, do you think they made this up just to make alot of the black people happy????
we actually learned about it in my science class and they made us do an essay about it i mean i dont know if its true but if there teaching it in schools now its a good chance its true
because it's all revisionist garbage
This stuff exist in history, but you guys aren't historian so you guys won't know.
xponen prove it
I wonder why I never heard about this woman during black history month in school? Damn shame I didn't know of her till I was 30 yrs old.
Because they never existed. It˙s a fabricated history. Moon Landing was in 1959, do you really think they would let black women be high ranking NASA workers at that time?
It is a true story. Her name is Katherine Johnson. Educate yourself before you comment.
honestly, ty marise i am just so done with ignorants
+Last Autist she exists look her up now the moon landing thats another story.
Moon landing was in 1969.
FINALLY!!! We don't have many true stories being made into movies portraying strong African Americans, and if we do it's most of the times about a slave! This makes me happy! Come out already!! Can't wait!
really? what are they? I want to see them.
Lol that's a blatant lie.
and the Oscar goes to

+Darkanims dont forget race
***** That's like 10 films over the last 10 years out of THOUSANDS of wide mainstream releases. You're gonna have to try harder than that. If your argument is that there is all of a sudden a ton of films focusing on interesting minority characters (compared to white characters), you're flat out wrong.
I'm here after watching this movie. I'm stunned. 😲 It's even hard to find a word to describe this movie. The cast and the acting is just incredible. I love it!!! The best movie I've ever seen. Such a shame that I haven't heard before the story about those incredible woman. What an inspiration!!! Deserved an Oscar.
I believe they have scored few Oscar nominations already without the release of the movie.
Yep. All you need is toss women in there, especially Not!White ones. The quality of the movie does not even matter.
Except, it kinda does.
ruealgie What does? The movie's not even out yet and people are already talking awards and saying how great it will be. LOL!
Don't mind me I'm just here to grab some salt for my fries
Well inspirational period drama released 1 month before the awards with a hit cast...
Watch the new trailer for Hidden Figures, based on the incredible untold true story. Starring Taraji P. Henson, Octavia Spencer and Janelle Monáe. In theaters January 13.
This movie is going to be worth watching
I don't get the release date of January 13th??? This could bring an Oscar Nod for Taraji P. Henson and hopefully a win plus it looks like a positive feel good movie in the vein of The Blind Side... why not a Christmas release?
ouch that was cold hearted
Like the "War on Christmas'? Can't wait for "leftwing " Bill O'Reilly to start his anual MANGER DANGER propaganda.
+Eric Blair Thanks for being pathetic. Tards like you help validate negative opinions towards anti-SJWs. Now whenever a movie with black or female leads come out over zealous anti-SJWs like you just call it propaganda. It's just sad.
I am SO glad they made the movie!! I did some research on the story behind it, and was blown away by how fascinating it was! To me, this movie and story, is a prime example of the tremendous progress our nation can make, when we put the right people, in the right positions, for the right reasons!!
What a coincidence, I'm texting you now after five years, can you contact me?
can i read it?
I'm proud to be an engineer!!! Go girl power!!! ;)
A EE I hope!
that's so awesome!!!

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love it. Shout out to all my fellow Black women in STEM. We're out here. Katherine is legit one of the reasons why I decided to pursue research with an emphasis on mathematics. Brings tears to my eyes.
Jim parsons is playing a scientist.

:)
Of course the man who plays sheldon cooper would be in this film 😂
+Steve K Jr I don't think the science is the main part of the show. Yes the characters are scientists. But it's not like people watch the show to learn science.
John Clavis Lol. Pwned.
One of my favorite movies of all time. Real & compelling story, wonderfully written, splendidly cast and the job the actors did honored those women’s exceptionally well. History so worthy of being told and honoring those 3 women was more than deserved. I’m so pleased that some of them were still alive to see it for themselves. Excellent job.
THIS IS A TRUE STORY!!! Katherine Johnson is still alive and she was vital to NASA's space program! I can't wait to see this movie!
0:07-0:17 lmao she legit looks like the little black girl from Matilda. Love that movie
I saw that too!!!
Because it is the girl from Matilda silly 😂
Omg I literally thought the same thing!
+Derrick Williams the girl from Matilda is a grown woman today. What are you saying?
Indigo Jane nigga, she said "looks like" not that it was her...
My school took us to see this movie today and I have to say it was absolutely brilliant! This was a fantastically well made movie. Can't wait to watch it again
I haven't seen it yet but I want to.
Read about Margaret Hamilton. Most important woman in the entire history of the Apollo program and most important person in the history of software engineering because she invented it - not mentioned even once in this movie because she's white and that didn't fit with their revisionist history. First she invented software engineering then she wrote the software that landed twelve men on the moon.
Weird how well this is doing versus ghostbusters. Maybe movie trailers are disliked by how bad they are instead of having women in them.
I think the fact that Ghostbusters was a remake of a movie a lot of people didn't believe needed a remake contributed to the hate it received.
Lexie Taylor Yeah, but Paul Feig said all the haters were women haters, which was the point I was trying to make.
+Adam Perez Oh, gotcha.
I say give it a few days. The trailer only just came out, once it starts to gain more views and more comments, that's when the racists/sexists are gonna come out with "oh look, ANOTHER film about smart women", "what's with the feminist agenda?", "seriously? More films about blacks? Why should we cater to the minority?" "blah blah blah bullshit bullshit bullshit" -_-
This movie isn't part of a franchise that a bunch of 35 year old manbabies think they "own". Ghostbusters (2016) was actually a good film and wasn't a remake. You should probably watch it. ;)

LMAO at how viciously bitter some white people become whenever black people's positive contributions are detailed.
This looks like a fine movie, a balance between life's humor and tragedy. I'm looking forward to seeing it.:)
if you want to learn some history while being uplifted, you'll enjoy this movie. its a great true story & its got great acting. i just ordered the book so i could get the whole story.
To the many people who do not believe this is a true story, look up Katherine Johnson on Wikipedia. I'd like to remind people that, many women and minorities contributions have been downgraded in history. It wasn't until 2016 that NASA finally named a building after one of these women in Hidden Figures. This movie is just another angle of a view in time, telling another story to broaden the understanding of what happened.
I just watched hidden figures and it’s in my movie hall of fame. It’s about 3 black women who worked at nasa and were the first black and first women to break barriers. First black women to play prominent math role in getting America to space and the moon. First black women nasa engineer. First black women supervisor of quants. What moved me the most is they didn’t use race or gender in calculating what they considered possible and didn’t let it distract them from identifying and focusing on the problems they wanted to pursue or were tasked with solving. And in my opinion transcending race and gender (viewing race as just pigment of skin and gender as purely gender) is what allowed them to do what other people around them thought was impossible. When someone said, “you can’t do that why are you deceiving yourself” they didn’t accept the beliefs of others and pursued what they wanted with humility and emotional balance to be ok with themselves regardless of outcome. It also highlighted how being unemotional improves one’s ability to be influential because that clarity helps you identify how what you want can potentially help the people you need support from which incentivizes them….I was watching it and was like, WTH this happened in real life? WHAT A STORY. Teared up a lot. of And also was like, wow, the people who produced this 🫡 FYI it’s on Amazon prime with ads or you can buy or rent it elsewhere
YAAAAASSSS TARAJI!!! I already know Janelle is gonna slay that role, I can see in the lines she's delivering, she gone get some awards and watch her get even bigger! Taraji doin' the d**n thang!!! I love her and her versatile acting, she is amazing and always will be.
And of course this movie better be nominated for an oscar and my girl Taraji. She deserves her win(s).
Don't we need to watch the movies first before handing out nominations?
+Juliette Carter why?
+TstormVA2012 Yeah youre right. Im hoping its good enough to be nominated for an oscar. I just hope so is all.
+Bib Smith Why? Because about what this movie holds. Hidden history but of course hopefully its good enough to be nominated.
Looks so inspirational! I love how they don't just explore the struggles of being black in America but also the struggle women face being held back in male-dominated careers. Usually, the black woman is always just portrayed as the extension of the black man and the problems he faces but it's great that this movie shows the women are individuals with their own struggles too. Can't wait to see it!!

yup Atlanta to be specific =)
They also filmed in the small town I live in.

+Ray Rrayy It actually is. Please learn some history before you open your ignorant mouth.
+Ramya Thomas One of the women in the film isn't even black in reality. She was like 1/15th black and barely had any features of someone who is race mixed. But in this film she is played by a 100% black actor. Hmmm...really makes you think huh?
+SirTripoisKing 1/15 black would be a white person with some black ancestry. She was not white. She wasn't even mixed. Just light-skinned. Unless you can provide a link that proves it I'm going to assume you are bullshitting.
+Ramya Thomas You got to be kidding me.
en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Katherine_Johnson
If 1/15th is just enough for her to be considered black then by that logic I must be Finnish because 1/8 of my genetics is Finnish (despite being 98.6 percent Mongolian), even though I never set foot in Finland nor do I have any relatives from there.
I just watched this movie yesterday and I loved it!! I am glad that movies nowadays touch topics about women's rights and fights against racism :) I live in a community full of asians (as i am an asian obviously), so I never understood how dark-skinned people feel in such situations. Watching this movie made me want to cry as the scenes fully depicted the injustice of such classism. I hope more movies about intellectual minds and social issues (like this one and the Imitation Game, which also talked about brilliant minds and the struggle of the LGBT society) will be produced in the future!
..... people so upset about the contributions black women made ...Instead of being happy for them, theyre mad as hell
This movie is a Nasa movie.

That's what you wish was true because it feeds into your delusional persecution complex.
@Yadav Anushka Only half of the "computers" (as they were called) were black and they completely neglected to even mention the woman who wrote the software which ran on that computer because she's white. The INVENTOR of software, first software engineer ever who also coined the term "software engineer" but let's ignore her because she's white and focus on the bean counters instead but only half of them. Because she's a black woman.

_Fun Fact_: *Katherine Coleman Goble Johnson* Is still very much alive and kicking at 98 years of age. Born in August of *1918*
This was the best work of fiction to come out of Hollywood since the original Superman film.
If only Superman was based on a real story too!
This isn't a documentary people....it's a movie. Of course these women's roles are going to be exaggerated beyond what happened in real life...but that's what happens in the vast majority of movies that are based on real events. Do yourself and everyone else a favor and find something more important to be pissed off about.
Sounds like the Cathedral is turning up the volume to 11.
John Smith Oh god, just HOW dumb are you?
John Smith I saw the movie..
and I am not saying white people are evil but you guys always show white intelligent. and what happened to blacks in 1962 was true. and judging by your comment, you're insecure and racial. and I dont care.
John Smith and the movie is a true story. my aunt works in NASA and there is actually a floor dedicated for the black lady. so I see that you are indeed racist.
John Smith and I'm not scared of white people. that'll give you the power over me. and hell no I'm not letting that happen.
This may be the best movie I've ever seen in my life, it literally tells all the issues of life.✨
I just finished watching this AMAZING and AWESOME movie...This is the movie of the year.. Yall really need to go and see this weekend whenever yall get a chance..
💕Love It Hands Down 💕
Tschnavia Brown I just went and saw it myself lol it started 5 hours ago, you know what's Tripping me out is that they are saying all over the place that this is a false story that it never happened, that actually hurts me to think the directors would just make up something like this, I don't know I'm confident it's a true story and a good concept.
Javier Anguiano I think is True story as well..When i was in school teachers ever told us the real history..only in the history books Now some years later i found out alot of other black people did some of GREAT and WONDERFUL things.. i don't think those SMART and iNTELLIGENCE woman wouldn't make this story up. In the 60's alot of Black People wasn't Knowledged for all their Accomplishments It's sad but it's the truth.
1st positively comment I say thank you
Dashanae Blow you welcome 😊
20th century Fox makes the greatest movie of all time.
being a 46 year old black man, this is a movie that I would consider to be one of the top ten most significant movies in our current generation to portray a story and give hope to our younger black community hope and determination to Aspire for more than than their current standings in society today.
who even dislikes a film like this!!?!?
Racist and sexist people who don't want to believe that a black woman is capable of being so smart, even though they are.
@@catsfoxes6336 i made the mistake of reading the comments
those people are disgusting
Trumpsters.
finally some more inspirational TRUE stories involving people other than whites. I'm a white female and I remember when the movie princess and the frog came out and people were excited for young black girls to have a princess role model. sure, the other princesses were great and stuff but soon enough you realize that people with your skin color are only portrayed in movies or shows as thugs or gangsters and you believe that's all you can amount to. if you see that people with your skin color can also be smart and be a CEO or an engineer or something like that, it changes your thoughts on your options for the future. loving these uncovered old stories being made into movies. =)
also regarding the princesses, if you don't see a princess you can relate to (with little kids you match hair color, or eye color, and sometimes skin color) you suddenly feel like you can't be a princess.
Actually in Africa they make movies all the time about african princesses getting married to their dream man and being monogomous. Africa has all of that they are all about 1 man 1 female monogamy with an emphasis on planning for the future. Black people in America regularly watch those african movies so they definitely get to see that stuff.

at my school the whole middle school gets to watch it
PeekaBoo Vlogs My school's going on a field trip to watch the movie
Do not be fooled by what you see, this movie and many more from hollywood are designed to instill white guilt into young impressionable minds. If you don't know what white guilt is it is basically a method of control which evil people use to try and brainwash a specific people (in this case white people) into believing that they have to feel sorry for the rest of their lives for events which happened before they were even born. As well as the general weakness which comes with unwarranted guilt.
You school system and most schools are trying to brainwash you into becoming a weak and mentally unstable person, so that the governing forces in this world can control you much easier when you leave school. I feel that I have to warn you to think for yourself and not take everything they tell you as fact. They DO NOT have your best interest at heart, only their own. It is sad that they are doing this to children but hopefully people can break the conditioning. I know about brainwashing in schools because I went through it too, only you are getting it much worse. I hope you don't end up a weak and confused person from the evil they indoctrinate to the masses.
Stay strong. Whether you are White or Black, they are trying to confuse us by telling Whites they are worthless and are at the same time empowering Blacks to such an extent that it will cause great havoc upon our societies. If you don't believe me just look at movements such as BLM (BlackLivesMatter), which is basically a terrorist movement which has been fueled by this type of brainwashing. I hope you have read through this all, because I wish I had someone to take the time and tell me these very important things when I was young and in school.
PeekaBoo Vlogs same my school is going to the theaters to watch it tomorrow I'm so exited 😂😂
Please read my previous comment so that you do not become brainwashed.
Moon Man Please stop being paranoid
This movie is so inspiring! I remember watching it in the theatre and Taj brought me to tears in that one scene. Omg! A few other people and I were applauding and standing up. It was so moving! Definitely owning this one.
Get a life.
This movie should have been called "I can do math all by myself".
The Worg of Wall Street Bruh
Taraj, Octavia, & Janelle Monae are here to slay....Loving it.
Watched this movie with my coworkers...almost all 58 of us. It was a GREAT movie...left the movie feeling inspired.
I think Taraji P. Henson, Octavia Spencer, Kevin Costner, Kirsten Dunst, Jim Parsons and Janelle Monae are best all-star cast of this wonderful new movie!!!
Best movie have ever seen
Literally cried at the end when I discovered it was a real life story
My friends and I, who are mixed race just watched "Hidden Figures". We took the DVD out from the Library. Thank you for making a first rate movie based on Historical events that most people do not know about.
This looks amazing! Janelle Monae is definitely holding her own in this trailer!
I can't stop watching this trailer. I am so excited for this movie!!
this looks AMAZING. more of these stories need to be told 💚
I just finished watching Hidden Figures on FX. The first time I saw it was when it was released in 2017 in the theaters. It's even better the second time around. Bravo to these brave intelligent women for their awesome achievements.
Why do people have a problem with this movie?
Well theyre just keeping it real since that is exactly what was happening. Maybe thats YOUR white guilt talking
Um yeah you're on RUclips. Racism shows its nasty head here quite often.
Dont care. Your comment is still stupid
My disagreeing with your ignorant comment does not make me a racist
+Ian Morris what are you saying. In my opinion nothing you have said throughout this thread was level headed instead of attacking.
IS NO ONE TALKING ABOUT JIM PARSONS?
bazinga.
Seems like he's going to be racist or sexist in this one haha.
no one cares it's not about him he's gonna be playing a racist sexist idiot anyways
And he's portraying a scientist, wow that's new
LEbiffCHICK he went to my middle school and high school
Janelle Monae is fucking beautiful. I love her. I pray she sings on the soundtrack! Electric Lady here!
Its seriously make me crying, this movie. It's true of humanity. I found movie on boxxy software on my iPhone - for free.

The movie starring the whitest black woman ever was literally a diversity hire.
crgis.ndc.nasa.gov/historic/File:1985-L-01543.jpg
This is no black woman even though it said her ethnicity is afircan american, That is the lightest light skinned person ive ever seen she might as well have been white.
+Matt Petersen Lool what?
+Matt Petersen are you stupid? She's BLACK. It's white people who created the "one drop" rule, and it's WHITE pol who still treated her as if she couldn't possibly be as smart as SHE WAS. So don't try to CLAIM her now that its profitable. Disgusting.
Makaflockaflame Profitable how?
One drop.
finally a movie that stays away from slavery and shows the positive aspects and triumphs of African americans! yassssss!
Love, love, love this movie! Thank you ladies.
This is an excellent movie. I saw it this evening. This is a movie for all people. The audience clapped repeatedly throughout the movie including at the end of the movie. I will see the movie again.
why would a "white" person feel any guilt about this movie? I know if I didn't do anything wrong I wouldn't feel any guilt. I think this is a movie just reflecting the times and view of an individual. On my behalf, I don't want your guilt , unless you plan on doing something wrong!
Second Oscar for Octavia Spencer... LOVE HER!!
Such a powerful movie, one of the best I've seen!
Saw this movie with the wife this evening. One of my all time favourites good job. Original and entertaining throughout
