Very nice video, as always. I agree on the rec room thing, without have tested them, I think they got a closer to XGC. Few questions. Have rec room copied everything from XGC or they in front of anything? Not what I can see or read about. Will be cool to hear your thoughts after u played one of there’s. And I don’t like rec rooms blower, it’s a joke. And there video topper. Looks ugly to me. Last question is about the vr drive. Have you installed it on your machine? Was it easy? Maybe do a video about it? Thanks again. Always love watching your videos,
@@joakimkarlsson4274 I don’t think you can say they copied as much as improved their machine to compete. One of the big differences for me is that XGC really works with their customers on customizations they may want to do, and many times those things work their way into the standard build. I have the VR drive, but I don’t play it much. It’s more of a party show off thing when I do play it.
@ I’ve never seen rec room improve with anything before xgc. Have you? Was it hard to install the vr ? I never tryed it. But a lot of people says it’s as close you get to real pinball. I know it one man show when you play it. Just hope it’s not to hard to get it to work.
@@shanecockburn I ordered it from a guy in France I think if I remember correctly. I made the file in photoshop and uploaded it to him. I think I found him on pinside and order the size for a Williams Widebody. Can’t remember his name. If I get a chance I’ll see if I can find him again when I get home.
@@shanecockburn to be fair they have gotten better, but I still haven’t been able to see an 8.0 machine in person. Lots of issues with the new ones are being posted, but they seem to be trying to address them. I still don’t see them being the quality that XGC hand builds, but they are helped out by the supervpin guy that sells a 3rd party drive for them, even though they aren’t happy about him doing it.
