I made this recipe with store bought pastry and it came out beautifully ! I added a dash of worcestershire and a little rosemary and almost cried when I tasted it.....Sooooo Gooood !
Love the presentation! Pies made like an expert. Mashed potatoes, gravy and some green peas with mine please! Would love some audio on the next one. Even some music. Nicely done!
Among the British meat pastries, my favorite one was Cornish pasty, but sometimes I bought steak and kidney pie instead, if there was non left. I remember that the smell of kindey was prominent in those pies, once i had taken a bite beyond the crust, which took a while to get used to, but on the whole it wasn't all that bad, quite filling in fact. That was back the mid seventies, when i was a student in London. I never had a home-made one though .

Greetings from Catalonia, Chef. Good recipe. A quick question: the kidneys are from which animal? Beef, lamb or pork?
Thank you, it’s beef kidneys
