I just purchased one of these and I can say it is a beast. We were doing railings on a job using 2-1/2 screws to attach them to the post. The guy I was working with had the Dewalt 20v brushless. His drill was out of reach and he grabbed mine. He couldn't believe the power difference. It was driving the screws in half the time of the Dewalt. I will always be team red.
Not that somebody would care but like to share it anyways, I am from the Netherlands and you can in fact get dewalit and milwaukee tools but they are not sold at the DIY stores so you have to order them or go to a specific store, I was already on the blue Bosch platform and got most of my tools from Bosch because it is well known brand in Europe. But I once got convinced to get some Milwaukee stuff so I got the knife, and bits etc etc from Amazon. However I am currently staying in Florida for vacation and I could not wait to run to Home depot to get the combo kit the drill and impact gen 4 and just cant wait to try it out once I arrive home. This video just made more wanna try it out! thank you for that
Do you prefer any other must have tools from Milwaukee besides the Impact (I have the drill as well) but I must be able to carry it in my check in bag, I already have 2 5 amp batteries :)
@@SparkyChannel I am a customer and operational services coordinator so I don't need to use tools but I do like to have the best tools for home projects or to help others :) and it is almost like an addiction once you start collecting them you dont stop
It seems like they just bumped up the speeds of settings 1, 2, and 3 compared with previous models. My older model has a much slower #1 which I like for delicate work. On this driver, #1 is like my #2 and #2 is like my #3. #3 on this new unit is faster. I think I would miss the very slow and controllable slower #1 setting.

That does look like and sound like a beast. Great demonstration Sparky.
It is a beast!
Sparky, you always got some good content. Keep them coming.
Thanks, will do!
Just imagine going to the 1960s and handing this tool to a tradesman.. they would think you're an alien
LOL! They were still using handsaws and manual screwdrivers.
Nice video, Bill! Thanks for the demo, great tool.
You bet! Thanks Tim!

The key is there, in controler speed module.
