the electronic torque limiter takes some getting used to, because it shuts down the motor instead of declutching.
and just a reminder: if you burn through a whole battery in one continuous use of a brushless tool, give it some rest time to cool off, or you will cook off the motor controls.
Good tips, thanks!
No more busted wrists with the anti overt rotation function. I like that.
Hopefully. I still brace the handle against my leg or against a stud if one is handy. I'm glad the safety system is there though.
@@SparkyChannel good idea can’t be too careful
Looks like another beast. Good demonstration Sparky.
True, it's another beast! Thanks Gary!
I just got this and the m12 set! Excellent tools! My old ones are still working and they have been through hell and back! 😂
Great to hear! I think you'll get great mileage from these as well!
Another very informative video, Bill! The demos are great letting us see the drill and bits, in action.
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks Tim!
@@SparkyChannel yes sir
Thanks for the review, Bill! Got the set today 😎 excited to start using it next week
I think you'll be impressed!
Good demo and great products ... Thx ...
Yes, I'm impressed. Thanks Eddy!
Powerful new tool. Thanks 🙏
You bet! Thanks Peter!
Looks awesome.
It is! Thanks Carlos!
And great for telecom! Drilling 3" holes with a hole saw is a pleasure with this.
I was especially impressed by the hole dozer bits.
Thank you for putting things right, Milwaukee: the clutch is much better now. Didn't matter for proper metal work; but for wood screws, sheet metal & drywall...
I did eventually learn to avoid the "wrist-breaker" moments with the 2804 when using hole saws by staying perp & controlling the speed, but at awkward angles the new autostop is a must.
Agreed!
Good to see snarly of the video. Use the only 1 speed on the large bits of the wood…. 🙄😂
Alright, alright, enough of that stuff!
You've really been putting out the tool reviews, Bill! This is no doubt one powerful drill, as was the previous generation. I’d like to know if you got to experience any of that anti rotation tech? It seems this technology is kind of hit and miss? I have a 36 Volt Metabo/HPT, and I have yet to been able to even deliberately make it kick in!?
I really DO wish Milwaukee would redo that trigger shape! I’m not alone here, as other RUclips Creators have mentioned it. Looking at that rounded off part you’d think it would be comfortable, but it is not. I have a few M18 tools, and after that trigger starts to make the inside of my index finger sore, I want to throw the dang tool! I LOVE my M18 Surge, but the ergos are just not that great.
Keep ‘em coming ‘Sparkly,’ 😝and stay safe and Healthy! Best 👍👍👍✌😊
Thanks so much George! Ergonomically, I am hearing that people either love it or hate it, probably due to the shape and size of their hands. I love the ergonomics, but I believe the complaints too.
Nice toys me like that too great video sir
Thanks 👍
Impressive
Agreed!
Great see sarky. well don’t use large drill bit with 2 speed, only 1 speed.
My Experian I use Milwaukee hammer drill 2804/22, then I did drilling on the wood, 3/4 wood drill bit with 2 speed then before done the whole, the drill almost fly and jump out the wood, then drill almost hit my face and I almost broke my hand….
So use 1 speed with large drill bit.
But I love it the love, so be careful about it.
One again sparky great job with the view
You're correct. Also, I had the drill braced against my leg. If a stud was available, I would have braced it against the stud.
Wow! Whatcha been smokin’ dude? 😮🙄😂 Wow! I had to read that twice! 😆 😂
@@SparkyChannel ow, sound painful out there.
@@SparkyChannel and also I almost broke it my drill
@@georgedavall9449 thanks, my drill still work.
Maybe I buy new one later
Milwaukee 2904-22
Is that drill alot louder than gen 3 drill. I'm trying to determine if I can use around home at night or if will be to loud.
😂
