I just got this set as a house warming gift for my son who just purchased his first home. I got a free M18 Fuel multi tool with it for $399 at Home Depot. I own a gen3 version of this impact driver and it's awesome.
@@shanersmechaniclife3164 i got a free 8 amp battery with my drill set which already came with two 5 amp batteries. now i have 10 batteries in total 👍👍
Couple weeks ago Home Depot had a daily deal on this very combo kit with the M18 surge for $350. Fifty bucks off from the usual special, plus an impact driver for free. I seriously don't think any other deal can beat that, unless you find a short lived hack one of the big sites put up by mistake. There, you're looking at pure luck and perfect timing.
Your old ones look like non fuel versions and the new is the fuel version. Your gonna see a big difference in power !! I have the gen 3 version and absolutely love them ! Never a problem !! Can't wait to try out the gen 4 tools !!
Yes, good eye. They are the non fuel versions. Think i bought them before Fuel was even an option LOL. They have lasted a long time. Thanks for commenting. Thinking of upgrading my ratchets next. What Gen 4 stuff are you looking forward to trying?
Better deal than I got. Those 8ah are great for the bigger power hungry tools. Let me know what you think once you've used them a while. Thanks for watching!
My Milwaukee collection started when I decided to upgrade from the old craftsman 19.2v cordless tools. Haven't looked back since. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Yes your right. They are a great upgrade. I haven't used them a lot yet but so far I have zero complaints with them. Thanks for taking the time to comment. Are there any Milwaukee products you would like to see reviews on?
I've got the M12 hackzall and love it. It pays to shop around. Almost like getting free tools. No regrets updating to the new drill and driver kit either.
Does the Milwaukee Chuck have a slight wobble when you look straight at it and pull trigger slow? Mine does I just bought it wondering if they all do that.
I looked at mine and I don't see a wobble. Maybe warranty it? If the chuck is wobbly then drilling precice sized holes will be almost impossible. Let me know how it works out for you. Thanks for watching and commenting.
@shanersmechaniclife3164 thanks for replying. I recently bought the drill combo, now I want to buy the dual charger $99 on sale but I have to justify that to the wife.
I am more than happy with this set. I haven't used Dewalt much. I am too invested in Milwaukee stuff to change now. Lol. What makes you want to change from Dewalt?
I had the Gen 3 and it got really hot quick. Nice size but my Makita XPH 14 doesn’t get nearly as hot. I ended up selling it. I wonder if the Gen 4 is better
Just ordered the same combi, Was tempted to get the m12 as i already have the new gen impact but didnt know if it would be powerful enough for what i do
Opening this box is like watching Arnie in the original terminator movie at the gun counter...uzi 9mm with laser sight, plasma gun’.....reply ‘hey, only what you see in the shop, we close early today.’ Iam having some of this shit, prefer 3/4 inch but I only need to drive in screws, but like Arnie, cannot have enough quality and power at hand, like heavy drills.
I would like to know if the products are made in the USA,I have seen many posts from your country,But I haven't seen any of these posts in Where exactly is the product made Where is it made.I'm interested in buying m18 impact drills generation 4 But really i dont wants by making an online order to get the milwaukee made in China.I would like to buy the original milwaukee impact m18 generation 4 made in USA.I would like to ask if you could answer me if the products you ordered are made in the USA.
I could be wrong, but I don’t think any of Milwaukees products are actually manufactured in the US. They might be designed in the states, but most likely manufactured in another country. The barcode sticker that was on my packout said “made in Israel”
Anyway possible you could add spanish subtitles to your videos? My husband loves watching these videos to help him decide which tools to buy but he doesnt understand English that much. He personally asked me to ask if it’s possible you could add spanish to your videos if possible. This also may help you with more views and subscribers. Thanks
@@yepyep6916 Paid 350 for it here but the free battery was a 5.0. Unless you own massive tools, I don't feel the 6.0 is really worthy, i's too heavy for my use. Even the 5.0 is overkill a bit haha. Probably would be different for a carpenter or shit like that
@@MGCoin333 Thx…I forked over the $399 and used it yesterday. Was amazed, last cordless drill I bought was 12 years ago. That 18v Skil held up well..but these newer gens is like going from a 1995 mustang gt to a 2022 with respect to performance
@@yepyep6916 Yeah, also got the M12 Fuel Drill Driver, amazing too. The only other cordless I got was a Mastercrap that batteries last like 10 minutes LOL and then used a corded drill for a few year that was kinda crap too. This is ridiculous to not have bought one good before HAHAH. Wanted to go M18 for the weed eater and chainsaw but I'll go fuel powered for these. Might change my mind tho for the Weed eater.
Desgraciadamente aqui en México son bien eletistas y ojetes lo de Mikwaukee! Allá si te te ofrecen todas las alternatívas posibles, pero aqui te ofrecen una pila de 5Ah. En lugar de 6ah.

I just got a set with a 3rd battery! What a wonderful new tool set!
I'm very happy with mine too. The extra battery makes the sale sometimes if your undecided.
I like how this guy actually knows what he is talking about

Great job on the video
It was quite informative 👍🏼
Thank you very much for your positive feedback. Glad you liked it.
Best video I seen. Very informative....I'm sold on this very same model.. the place I'm going to is throwing in a battery also👍 labor day sale👌
Sounds like a good deal. I think your going to love them.
Hey, just wanna know are you going to do a one year overall update on this set?
That's a good idea!
Asking about the charger that comes with this combo, are you able to charge (1) xc5.0 style battery at a time?
One battery at a time. Thanks for watching.

Very nice review boss 👍
Glad you liked it. So far I am very happy with the kit. Still working well. Do you have it? What are your thoughts?
Just bought this same kit, mine it came with an 8.0 though
My kit came with 2, 5ah batteries plus a bonus 6ah from the store I bought it from. I love my kit so far. How do you like yours,?
Haven't used them yet, doing a dirty job so still using the old gear till it's done.
Awesome 👏 dude hope you love ‘em
So far I'm really pleased. Got some jobs coming up where they will see a lot of use.

Any idea On a uk release date?

Only thing I don’t like on Gen 4 is drill is a screamer compared to the gen 3
Man it’s loud
I don't have the Gen 3. I upgraded from an old non fuel drill. I'll have to compare if I get my hands on a Gen 3. Thanks for your feedback
