The wreath and sign with the flowers look perfect for that mirror! And the pumpkin on the mantle is a nice pop of more fall colour. I decorate for seasonal changes and holidays too but in order to keep it manageable for storage and set up/take down I keep it all on the top of a sideboard in my dining room and a wreath or other hanger for the front door. I enjoy seeing the decor and it is feelsfestive but is also very manageable. And if I am low on energy when the season/holiday is over I only have one space to undecorate. It would be great if you used the same wreath as a base for other seasons/holidays and added a sign or other faux flowers/picks to it. Would keep the cost down and the space for storage, time needed to decorate. Thanks for another great video!

For a fall wreath: go to the dollar 25 store, grab a round wreath wire, and 2 of each color you choose in the burlap fabric ribbon. There is a simple tutorial online to create a simple wreath by wrapping and looping the ribbon. It's so simple (I am not good with DIY decor) and looks expensive! I get compliments all the time 👏 I wish I could attach a photo. I chose to do a Halloween one. I did one pumpkin pattern and just black for the other side and offset them so they're not split right down the middle if that makes sense. Anyway, I hope this helps save some money! Fallify is a word I use too. Ready made wreaths are outrageously expensive. I have one grape vine wreath and change it up for each season with floral picks and ribbon from the $ shore. My wreath is over 10+ years old, holding up like new, I keep the seasonal picks in a bin and am ready to go each time. Occasionally I buy something new just to change things up. I’ve downsized my decor items quite a lot, so minimal is the way I go for the rest of my space. I bought pillow covers from Amazon for the sofa and one for my bed. Freshens up the whole space. They are washable, storable and ready for the next time around…. And take up almost no space. I have 4 storage cubes on my shelf, labeled: Fall, Winter, Spring/summer. All the decor for the whole year is in there, some of the cubes are not even full. I’m selective about what I keep. The biggest change I made was to stop buying cute little pillows, switching to the covers was major…. And space saving. The wreath you put on your mirror turned out adorable with the sign on it. Definitely a winner. That wreath can be repurposed for lots of seasons with floral picks, ribbons or signs. The wood pumpkin is another investment piece that can be moved around and used for many years. Btw, my Christmas decor items are stored separate but can usually blend right in with ‘winter’.

I can't possibly put it on the door and draw attention to how bad it looks😂. Front doors are sooo expensive here in England UK. Can't wait to see the rest of your fall decor

I was also born in 1985 and completely loved that Alice in Wonderland. I actually have it on dvd. The jabberwaky scared the heck out of me! I love fall decor but still only have one bin of stuff. I have my fav pieces and I stick with just those.

You've got a lovely home. You should be very proud of yourself. I know how hard it is to get motivated when you're depressed. I live alone with my darling mum who is deteriorating quickly with Dementia. Have no other family. I've been suffering with very ill health this year but ignored it. I was physically unable to do any repairs or deep cleaning. I ended up being rushed into hospital for a week with lung problems last week. Ive never smoked. Apparently I ve had a very bad reaction to feather pillows I bought last October. Would never have thought of that. I'm so thankful to my doctors. I'm on high doses of Steroids now and feel 70 percent better. I can't believe how much more optimism and more motivation I have to sort things out a bit more. Mental and physical illness can really be debilitating. I've certaitainly just learned that we must take care of ourselves because we can't take care of anyone else if we are at rock bottom. Also learnt that it could all be taken way for from me in a flash. I certainly haven't been living this last year. Was just going through the motions. I'm sending you all the blessings and good health and much happiness through the the next year. Be good to yourself all the time. You deserve it. God bless. xx

Love the wreath re-do, I would do this for every holiday! I don't know if you have heard of Old English furniture polish. But it covers nicks and scratches on dark brown wood like the top of your console. You might want to try it a little goes a long way. Enjoy your Fall.
Wreaths are out of my life now. I love getting a cinnamon little broom to hang every year that my groc store sells. Get one for me and one for my Sis. Makes the kitchen and dining room smell great !

Wreaths are out of my life now. I love getting a cinnamon little broom to hang every year that my groc store sells. Get one for me and one for my Sis. Makes the kitchen and dining room smell great !

I love your fall-ified wreath! Wreaths are so expensive. I did find a pretty fall one at JoAnn Fabrics a few weeks ago. With stacked coupons it was $19.99. I even hesitated at that price, but ended up just getting it.

This year I, too, have decided to decorate with fewer items. It really is overwhelming when we go crazy with too much stuff and I wonder if anyone even notices it. I want to have some things up for my own sake as it makes me happy. But I don't need to look like a craft store. haha. Your things look really nice.

Your decorating is lovely! So cozy, perfect for fall! I really enjoy decorating for Christmas for the other holidays or seasons, I just do a little bit here and there. My adult daughter gave me a fall garland that she didn’t need any longer, and I put it on my mantle, and it’s absolutely gorgeous! Inspired me to do a few more things, not much, it’s simple, but I love it. Sorry you’ve been struggling. Me too. I’ll be praying for you! ❤
