I can write a book about my adventure in decluttering. My husband was a hoarder. I lived with him for 50 years. When he died I had lots to do. My stuff was also getting out of hand. It took me 7 years to finally be normal and live clutter free. I got rid of family china, and thing people made me, etc. I didn't care. I donated most of it or threw it away. Another way to get rid of stuff is leave it at the dumpster. Right now I have 100 books in boxes to donate, but I'll need someone to pick them up. I can't wait to let it go!! Good luck on your journey.
I love hearing you laugh at yourself, smile and make a joke of something that normally would cause someone anxiety..im sure it did cause you some anxiety but you are an amazing example of someone that pushed through it and didn't let it get the better of you. You are an inspiration. Brava!
I started my decluttering journey by listening to RUclips - the Minimalists, Dana White, etc. I just absorbed for a couple months before actually starting. They, and now you, were great motivators! ❤
Can't tell you, how impressed I am. I am German, 58, and did my declutter just one year ago. My mother was very organized, every one of her three daughters feeling to be a total failure in comparison until today. I learned how to storage stuff and doing the thing with papers as your friend did, at my first employment. So I had much more skills for it than you. BUT: It is not about how high the mountain is. Is it not about trash and empty waterbottles in between. It is also not about rotten food, as some of us has to deal with. It is only about HOW IT MAKES YOU FEEL. I also sat there for years, thinking "How could I ever solve this? No way." This feeling is like a stone on a rope around your neck. But one day. One day you will start. And yes, I needed help from a friend, too. I was able to decide what will stay and what has to go. But to think about the future of the items, that are not trash ... And she took all of them with her. Using it, selling it, trashing it... Sometimes she tells me, to whom she gifted some of my items and how happy they are. It is like a candle light, going from hand to hand, lifting up the mood of the one, who is just holding it. And yes. You meet your old dreams that did not come true. And yes, it is time to let go for some of them. New things and persons can only enter your life, if you have cleaned the space for them before. What I can also tell you, is: Living in a decluttered home is like someone, who lost a lot of weight: Everyone else can see it. Only himself is still feeling overweight. Brain is faster than feelings. Sometimes I trash my home during a week and think (as for decades): How should I solve this? The brain answers: No problem. Every item has its home, you will be done in an hour. But the feeling... still has a mountain to conquer in front of it. Love your honesty. And your ability to TELL your thoughts and feelings during this. You do not necessarily have to write, to be a writer. ❤
I love that your friend came to help. She seems a delight. I love the saying "If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go with a friend." :)
When you get the junk mail out of your mailbox, throw it directly into your recycle bin. Sort immediately. It is the only way to deal with it unless you can stop it from coming.
Same here. It's made a huge difference. Not having something come into the house is a game changer. I'm not just careful with junk mail not coming into the house but everything now.
Yes! If you have a situation where you can grab the mail when you get home and then sit in your car and sort through it before you even get out, could be a game changer. It worked wonders for me. ❤❤❤
The first thing I saw in the mountain was all the bottles. I would have pulled those all off right away because its easy picking and would make a significant dent in the mountain.
@@Suz9006 , I agree. I would first break down all the empty boxes as they are bulky and take up so much room. Next. I would collect all of the bottles for recycle and then all the trash. That would clear up so much space and create more space to go through items to declutter or keep.
I've watched the show "Hoarders" for many years, and have seen how paralyzing the clutter can be. Many people are too overwhelmed to tackle it on their own. Nice to see someone taking initiative and just getting it done with consistent effort! Great job!
I am a brand new subscriber. A friend recommended your channel. As soon as I started watching you I was just in awe of you! I admire your determination and the real observations you make. I have so often come to the same conclusions as you...and other thoughts of mine that never were even clear in my mind until you actually SAID it. I am glad you say it's OK to pause...it's OK to not throw stuff away...now. It's a process...and we learn about ourselves along the way. And what a great reward! A nice place to sit and look out the window! Brava, Mira!!❤💐
your laugh is so delightful, coupled with your bravery to show your struggles and determination to work on them no matter how long it takes, its no wonder your channel has blown up
I literally heard the difference in your voice from when you started this vid and when you were at the end of it. You sound so happy and relieved. As though a literal weight has been lifted from your mind. This vid is so inspiring
Ich höre Ihnen gerne zu. Als nicht englisch sprechende Person, kann ich sie gut verstehen. Sie machen einen tollen Job. Ich wünsche Ihnen alles gute für die Zukunft. Sie schaffen das💪
I don’t particularly care for cleaning videos but I must say I do like a good declutter. You got this! Just make sure that your filled donation boxes and bag’s don’t sit around… take them to charity at least once a week.
Wow, Mira, that was a BIG JOB! And you and your friend did it in just 5 days. It made an amazing difference to your living room. Not only did I not know there was a love set under the pile, I didn't know there was an ottoman and also a window back there. You did GREAT! Congratulations! I understand why you got a little emotional looking at the before and after photos.
I’ve been on a decluttering journey for the last 5 years. Little by little peeling the onion back. I like to keep track of how many boxes and bags I’ve donated (43) and how many things I’ve sold (~300). I don’t even know how much I’ve thrown away too. It keeps me motivated to see those numbers grow. Great job!
Ooh! That’s a great idea. Wish I had started that. I’m almost embarrassed how often I have the donation pickup truck come to my house. I always wonder if the neighbors think I’m moving. 😄
I've watched lots of shows where others do the work of decluttering for someone. Those are interesting, but I can't tell you enough how your video is encouraging and inspiring me. When I see that you can take care of your own decluttering, it makes me feel like I can do my own, too. I especially like where you talk about not wanting to keep going, but you do anyway, you say it's not a a quick journey. It took a long time for the mountain to grow and it'll take a while to clear it. I also love watching you make all your own decisions for yourself. It's SO motivating, inspiring and encouraging to see you do this for yourself. I feel motivated to get up and try to do my own decluttering! I want to thank you with all my heart! Now, we'll see if I act on this motivation. I might have to watch several more videos of your helping yourself... to see if I can get up and get started. Immediately, as I think of starting, I remember there's no where to put most things....😊
I'm so glad I can inspire you! You can do it, I promise! Keep in mind that if you get stuff out of the house you can make room to put things. Even if it's a slow process. Wishing you the best.
I like the long videos myself. The Midwest clearner said to just get up and move one thing. I remember that when I had to do supper dishes. Just moving that one thing sets you in motion to keep going. Your friend is worth her weight in gold.
Depression is a tenacious foe. It does sometimes shut me down but I am comforted by knowing it will pass. I love that you have such a supportive friend helping. I’ve been at my garage again and so happy about it. I love a hoarders heart. She’s working so hard and sharing so much of her story now. I love the name of your channel. It’s perfect for what you’re doing here. You are really doing well. I look forward to your next video too. However long or short you want to do. Another great channel is Tracy Akamini she has worked through a lot. She’s on a bit of a break right now.
Thank you for making a video about actual decluttering yourself as opposed to those videos where someone just comes in with a shovel and throws everything out. I can completely relate to you and everything you've said, I have ADHD, anxiety and depression so it feel like everything is holding me down from doing this. It's exhausting.
Thank you so much for baring your soul to us in this video. I am right here with you. There were many moments of empathetic anxiety and fear while you were so courageously throwing things out and sorting the donations. And the devilish boxes of clutter!!! I know that feeling only too well!! The ups and downs. The beating yourself up. And having a friend you are comfortable with to help you! Priceless!!! Many blessings to you. I look forward to seeing the rest of your videos. A move forced me to deal with most of my clutter but I still have boxes and more boxes to go through. I think your channel will help me with the process once I recuperate from my upcoming hip replacement. Thanks again! ❤️❤️
Seconding! Rather than picking specific categories which might mean touching and putting back lots of items, start with "easy" first by removing all trash.
Long videos are good! I like them because I can put it on for a cleaning session or even just at my desk for work. You are so chill and like to hear you talking. This video I think is one of the most profound because it uncovered a functional piece of furniture that you couldn’t see. You got this.
Mira, I just found your channel last night, after watching Bonnie from A Beautiful Mess clean your kitchen. I’m so impressed with your progress! I can identify with you in so many ways - I have a ton of books too, and they’re hard to let go of. All my flat surfaces are full of stuff. I have a craft/scrapbook room that’s been a dumping ground for 15+ years. A few years ago, I finally started painting it - moved as much as I could into another room, but the rest I had to keep moving from one side to another, over and over, while painting all the necessary coats. Now I’ve been SLOWLY going through all my stuff, trying to figure out where to put it so things I want to use are easily accessible, and displayed in a cheerful, pleasing manner. I can’t wait till I get to the point where I watch what you do with your craft room, but I’m starting with your earliest videos and working my way forward. I enjoy longer videos, and greatly prefer listening to you narrate them, as opposed to the music. Keep up the great work! 👍
OMG the bowling strike had me laughing! I like both short and long videos, sometimes I just want to watch something quick and other times I like to have a long video on to watch while I declutter too. Your videos are awesome!
Hi!! My name is Alicia but everyone just calls me Leashy. I live in Indiana, I'm 47 and have a birthday in a week. I'm married for 22 years and we have no kids but one spoiled kitty named Pixie. I am a new sub!! Yay!! I found you thru Bonnie's channel - A Beautiful Mess. She is such a sweet girl!! I'm really happy she was/will be able to come and help you - that you found her channel and asked for help. That is so awesome!! I'm happy you will have a new kitchen table set!! Yay!! Your laugh is so infectious and I absolutely love your personality!! I'm really sorry for your recent loss of Cupid. 😢 I pray for you to have peace and comfort. 💞💖💞💖💞💖
i much preferred you talking thru your process than listening to that whistle song over and over again as in previous videos. you are an inspiration to me, for sure. i have so much sorting and getting rid of things i don't need anymore in my life. thank you for showing us your journey. keep up the good work!!
What a wonderful friend you have 💜💜💜 whether videos are short or long, I don't mind! However I love that this one had more narration than music 🥰 I'm often doing other stuff while I watch these type videos so I like to listen to the type of stuff you're finding, your process and thinking, all that kind of stuff. Again I'm SO PROUD OF YOU! ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for your encouragement. I am 59 and I’ve finally come to the point where I have to get rid of the clutter for my own peace of mind, and so that I’m not to embarrassed to have friends over. It’s not easy though. I have my days where I make a dent and days that I’m too tired from working full time and overtime. you are the first one that I’ve found that I can relate to. So again. Thanks for the encouragement. ❤
Life does not always go the way you thought it would go. You have a soothing voice. You are very interesting to listen to. You already have 4000 subscribers and you are learning the ins and outs of podcasting. I love books and thought maybe that could be a future Podcast. I am homebound , disabled with ms. I'm sure there are many like me out there. Ill be watchhing you to the end of your journey. You go girl!
I - LOVE - vacuuming when I am decluttering- every 3'x3' square I conquer and vacuum feels sooo good! Keep up the great work!!! Decluttering right along with you!
thank you 😊🤗 for sharing your insights that things are not just things but also unfullfilled dreams- I finally understand now why I have a hard time to donate some stuff...😅 I need to let go of the dream first, it is like to accept that a cherry tree has many flowers but not every one turns into a fruit...
I see I'm a little late but I am so happy for you! I completely understand the struggle and know it's not easy. However you accomplished it, I'm proud of you. 😊❤
I see two things you can do in the future to keep this from happening again, and one of them I see others have commented on--throw that junk mail away when it arrives! I don't know of any way to stop it from coming--how I wish I knew! The other thing is, when you finish a bottle of water, don't just toss it aside. Put it immediately into recycling. Keep up the good work!
Thank you for your video. I was led here from the video of your kitchen makeover. My inspiration for decluttering and cleaning comes from videos like this, and this is what I like to watch/listen to while decluttering/cleaning. Thank you for being brave enough to share your personal journey, it truly is inspiring.
You are amazing and I love the longer videos. I also studied English and had 1000s of books but over time I whittled them down to what I heard called a Hall of Fame. - maybe 200 that I’ll read again or have meaning to me. Keep going we’re all cheering you on. Now back to the video…❤
Junk mail has to be dealt with on a daily basis. It is a matter of establishing a new routine. Same for dealing with the cardboard boxes and other recyclables. You are doing a great job. You will have an organized space before long.
Wow,Mira! You did a lot. Great job. I enjoyed this full length declutter. The ‘bowling for bottles’ scene was funny. You have a soothing voice, and a sense of humor too. I like listening to you talk. I hope you take us through your exit strategy for getting the recycling and donations out. Do you wait long? Do you take it all at once? Or wait for pick up days? I know you’ve got to be tired after all that. What an accomplishment! 👏🏻👏🏻❤️
When you talked about the daunting box that had over lots of miscellaneous items that you were going to have to deal with, and how much it stresses you out - don't think of it as having to deal with over 100 things - just deal with one item at a time. And if you use Dana K white's no-mess decluttering process, you won't make a bigger mess than when you started. Remove trash and then if there are items that already have a designated home, take them there right away, then look for "duh" donations - as in, "duh, I can get rid of this!" and then what's left you ask if you needed this item, where would you look for it first, and then take it there now. If you don't have a good answer, ask yourself if it would ever occur to you that you had the item. If not, you can probably get rid of it, because chances are you would go buy a new one anyway, because it would never occur to you that you had one :) What I love about her process is that she never asks if this item brings joy, or if she's used it in a certain amount of time - she just asks "where would I look for this item first" - no judgment about whether or not she *should* keep the item :) My brain works like her brain, so it has been really helpful in decluttering my house! (I'm still working on it - after about 20 years! One day I'll get my house fully decluttered!)
You have made great progress!! One suggestion, maybe invest in a good water filtration system for your kitchen sink. That would eliminate all those water bottles completely❤❤❤
Amazing! You should be so very proud of all your hard work - physical and mental! Seeing your home reappear from out of the clutter must be so exciting! Thank you for sharing… I’m going to go and declutter my room now xxx
You're doing a great job! I've been on a decluttering journey myself. Just tackle a box, a draw, an area at a time. Keep it up 😊. Thanks for the continued motivation.
Your friend seems like a lovely person. She was so respectful of your belongings. And it seems like you ladies are having a great time laughing and talking.
Love the longer video! A mix of shorter and longer is always nice. Fantastic job on chipping away!! So motivating. What I listen to when I’m working on things: documentaries, audiobooks, jeopardy, and declutterring videos!
I get the intimidation factor of 'the box of stuff'. Ive come to think of it as 'well, if I haven't needed it for this long, what are the odds I REALLY need it now? It's hard to part with stuff and it might sting a little if you have to buy something you DID throw out, but it's incredibly rare that there's something important in those boxes. You really end up looking through them for deep sentimental things and can donate or junk the rest. You mention it being hard when they're gifts. You give and get gifts to show love. It's the act of giving, not the gift itself that's important. Also, I appreciate your honesty in tearing up at the amount YOU DID in those days. You did SO well and we're all SUPER proud of you! And hope you still are too!
You are doing great. The dogs look very happy with your progress. Keep going, it is going to look and feel so much better and you will be able to move around better !
Hi from Northumberland, England. I was watching a gentleman who helps people declutter and get recommends working for 50 mins and then taking a 10 minute break every hour. It refreshes you. I think you should be very proud of yourself on what you have achieved so far. ❤
Think about pulling your sofa a few inches from the wall. It will allow your drapes to hang straight which will look smoother. You are doing an excellent job!
I love how you've given your piles names 😂. I wondered why you didn't call Clutter Tower Clutter Mountain, now I know this beast was lurking. I'm so impressed by how you are pushing through, its a lot of work. But also pacing yourself. You've got us all cheering for you.
I used to keep a paper recycle bin right next to the mail slot in the door. Every day, most of the "mail" was put directly into the paper recycle bin. That's how much junk mail we used to get.
Ooooh! I LOVE the cardboard box folding part!! Personally I do it as I go while decluttering because it gives me a kick thinking "Hahaa, I got you box!" while smashing it together. 🤣 So inspiring and cool you got that mountain under control and that's such a true friend joining you 🙂✨✨
I suffer from severe major depressive disorder and ADHD and relate to your video so much! Your journey helps me recognize it. I've also been feeling a lot less shame and feel a lot more ready to dive in one box at a time! 💕
I didn’t know u can be a organized hoarder my friend called me that and now that I’m watching mult channels on you tube and unpack my boxes and see the mult thinks I have I still have 2/3 of my storage left and already have a house full of stuff and mult items time to get my boxes and put them to use for a donation thank u again 😊
Brilliant job hon, it was wonderful to see you sitting on your couch again, and see all that stuff going out of your life. Couple of suggestions: Don't count the number of items due to be decluttered ie in that box. Count instead the stuff you are getting rid of, weather it's items, or bags or boxes. It feels an even bigger accomplishment and that way you are motivated to do and get rid of more. Plus, for me, it was like , OK I got rid of 1797 items, I must find another 3 to round it up to 1800 😁 Great motivation. Next, Don't put the boxes back on the couch at the end. Sort them during declutter into a box per room, and next time you go to that room, ie bathroom, take bathroom box with you. You can organise it later but at least stuff are in the correct room and living room looks even better. On day to day basis, put the items near the door, and again, when you go to a specific room, take the item with you. I find that I now am so used to it, I activity ask myself is there anything I need to take to the bathroom 😁 Re the length, my preferred one would be around 20 min, or I might have to wait for the weekend to watch it. But I will still watch it either way 😁 You do whatever is best for you. I like that you talk through the video, personally I hate music in the decluttering videos, as I like to hear person's thinking process and decision making, just like older Hoarders Heart videos before this year. Sending a scratch to your lovely dogs ❤❤ Keep going 😁
Having You Tube Premium is so worth the 10.00 a month because it cuts all the ads out ! I like the new music you put in this video. But my favorite part is when you narrate the video most of the time. I also love when you have the piles of where things are going in the AFTER part.
Ok, first of all. Super funny when you bowled with your water bottles! 😂 You did absolutely astonishing decluttering! Oh my gosh, wow! I really loved how you showed all the recycling, garbage and donation boxes afterwards! See you next time! ❤ 💕🌸🌸💕
Sorry to leave so many comments! I just have a lot of excitement about your cold process. The anxiety you talked about, when it starts to get worse before it gets better. Are usually take a break to bring stuff to the Goodwill at that point. It gets me out of the house, and when I drop it off at gives me a big dopamine rush. Gives me a fresh state of mind, a little fresh air and sometimes I stop for a coffee or a treat. Before I resume decluttering, II also take the trash out of the house and the recycling. When I come back, there is more space because of the donations been gone . Then I get fresh boxes and start the process again.
Holy Moly~ I got all the way to the end and YOU ROCK! That was freakin' amazing! You got all the done in just 5 days of chugging along at it! You are doing soooo good! It's good to work on a smaller less intimidating space next; give yourself a little breather, but not stopping completley. You go girl!
Well done Mira, that was amazing and so motivating. Put a No Junk Mail sign on your letter box, you can buy them at hardware stores. How about investing in a water filter instead of using all those single use water bottles. In New Zealand each home has recycle bins. It's great to be able to brake down boxes and get rid of them right away. I'm excited to watch your decluttering journey. ❤
Be very proud of yourself, it's a great achievement. So many of us struggle with our stuff. Your friend is a treasure and I'm sure her seeing the results like this is her own reward. I'm sure all your supportive subscribers believe that you deserve to gift to yourself the lovely home that you're revealing with your decluttering process. Keep the momentum going but also give yourself time to enjoy the space with your lovely pets and get used to it. I'm happy for short and long videos, I'm just keen to see the progress that you're making.
You are doing so good! I can hear the emotion in your voice at the end. I always find I emotionally declutter when I physically declutter. Keep going and let it bubble up. We are all human. You are so brave and strong for making these videos. You don't know how many people you are helping to motivate. I like your long video too.❤🎉🎉
You are so inspirational You prove that anyone can help make their life better even if the problem is literally piling up around them just by working on it a little at a time. I know next year when you look back at these videos you will be so amazed and proud of what you have done. When you are having a bad day mentally try to take 10 minutes to pick out any trash you may see. That's all you need to do just keep on it. Your words are more true then you know. I'm so happy I found your channel and get to watch your journey. By the way I love you clothing style.
When it comes to dealing with boxes that make me feel overwhelmed and stressed so I'm avoiding them, I close them and toss the whole thing. As far as what I listen to when I'm decluttering, mostly I listen to podcasts from A slob comes clean, Clutterbug and the Minimal mom. Listening to you talk about struggling to organize, the way you think of your stuff, and how creative you are really makes me think Dana K White would be helpful to you. Wow!! Fantastic job 👏👏👏
I keep a rough record of the items I either donated or sold. Today 35 items were donated to the charity shop. I started last year. I don't have a lot of clutter but I try to reduce it to the essentials.
I love The Clutter Fairy weekly podcast. Gale and Ed have such wonderful banter and her more analytical approach is a nice variation. Also as a former accountant she has excellent tips on paper declutter.
@@eastonmartin5342 ooh I will definitely check it out. I don't have much paper clutter at home because I have gone paperless so I just try to keep it from coming in. Work is a whole other issue though
You. Imagine yourself like a mountaineer. You traverse the abyss's. You keep going. Nevermind the avalanche! You just pick up and keep goings on ❤
EVERY TIME you see new floor space is a VICTORY! You go, Girl!
I can write a book about my adventure in decluttering. My husband was a hoarder. I lived with him for 50 years. When he died I had lots to do. My stuff was also getting out of hand. Good luck on your journey.
I love when you talk about what's going on in the video and what you are thinking...I don't feel so alone in decluttering
I love hearing you laugh at yourself, smile and make a joke of something that normally would cause someone anxiety..im sure it did cause you some anxiety but you are an amazing example of someone that pushed through it and didn't let it get the better of you. You are an inspiration. Brava!

To belittle is to be little. To declutter is an accomplishment! I turn to you for your wisdom. Im full of self hatred.
Oh, look at you ! I think I can see your cape fluttering behind you there now 😊
I literally heard the difference in your voice from when you started this vid and when you were at the end of it. You sound so happy and relieved. As though a literal weight has been lifted from your mind. This vid is so inspiring
Congratulations on getting the love seat and ottoman cleared....what an accomplishment...you should be proud!

You’re doing fantastic! I think we can all relate to that overwhelming feeling of trying to de-clutter at some point in life.
I don’t particularly care for cleaning videos but I must say I do like a good declutter. You got this! Just make sure that your filled donation boxes and bag’s don’t sit around… take them to charity at least once a week.
Yes I do this. I make sure when I go near a donation centre a bag goes with me. No matter how small! Keep on top of it.😊
You should be so proud! I’ve been decluttering my craft room this week.
I couldn’t walk in there and I can now see the floor. Yay! Keep going!
Brilliant
That's a great idea. Thanks for sharing!
I am so pleased for you that you have a friend who you felt comfortable enough to let in and to let help you!! Well done. Amazing job!
I totally agree this is so transparent .. inspiring. someone is watching and starting the process in secret and I say good for you
I like the long videos myself.
Thank you SO much for recommending Tracy Akamini, I found her you tube channel, and I LOVE it. I love her personality and her approach!
Mira your laugh makes my heart smile. Thank you❣️
Thank you for making a video about actual decluttering yourself as opposed to those videos where someone just comes in with a shovel and throws everything out.
Another way to start is to remove as much trash as you can, then separate items by category. You’re doing good!
What I love about your channel is that you are showing that progress can be made one area, tower, and mountain at a time. This gives me hope! ❤
Wow awesome job! I had no clue there was a couch and ottoman there! Looking forward to watching more of your videos!! ❤
i much preferred you talking thru your process than listening to that whistle song over and over again as in previous videos. you are an inspiration to me, for sure. i have so much sorting and getting rid of things i don't need anymore in my life. thank you for showing us your journey. keep up the good work!!
I like the longer videos - they seem more realistic and we get to know you better as you talk us through it on your voiceovers
I find unsolved mysteries very soothing and there is something to the justice of it all😂
What a wonderful friend you have 💜💜💜 whether videos are short or long, I don't mind!
I have my days where I make a dent and days that I’m too tired from working full time and overtime. you are the first one
that I’ve found that I can relate to. So again. Thanks for the encouragement. ❤
What a great friend you have. ❤❤❤
@@jenniferknowles7219 ❤️❤️❤️ yes this stuff really rules your life! Just think how GOOD you're going to feel when your home is your own again!
I agree on the music and narration. Love to hear the thought process!
I love watching you clean the piles. I tend to shuffle stuff from room to room. You are inspiring me to clean as well. Thanks for posting.
Yes! That would definitely be the academia dream!
I love 📚 I am also homebound with Fibromyalgia🙏💙
I - LOVE - vacuuming when I am decluttering- every 3'x3' square I conquer and vacuum feels sooo good! Keep up the great work!!! Decluttering right along with you!
I also plug in my favorite plug-in in the clean area as my "reward ritual"
I like long and short videos - the progress is really amazing to watch!
Keep filming ❤ chop it down into bits if you need. ❤❤❤
thank you 😊🤗 for sharing your insights that things are not just things but also unfullfilled dreams- I finally understand now why I have a hard time to donate some stuff...😅 I need to let go of the dream first, it is like to accept that a cherry tree has many flowers but not every one turns into a fruit...
😂 Bowling with the water bottles!!!! Awesome. How gratifying was it to see the sofa? Yeah you!!!!!
Junk mail has to be dealt with on a daily basis. It is a matter of establishing a new routine. Same for dealing with the cardboard boxes and other recyclables. You are doing a great job. You will have an organized space before long.
I feel like you have made so much progress in taking back your home and things.
Thank you! I like your idea about discussing my strategy. I'll make a note to do that.
That’s a sweet, good friend.
If not, you can probably get rid of it, because chances are you would go buy a new one anyway, because it would never occur to you that you had one :)
What I love about her process is that she never asks if this item brings joy, or if she's used it in a certain amount of time - she just asks "where would I look for this item first" - no judgment about whether or not she *should* keep the item :) My brain works like her brain, so it has been really helpful in decluttering my house!
Mira, we are seeing less of that mountain and more of the floor...plus, you're cleaning as you're clearing!🎉 Keep going!!
Loved the bowling 🎳 with the water bottles and painter's tape, lol 🎉😂😅!!!
GREAT JOB!! 😊🩷🐩 Loved the bowling alley...summed up your progress...striking it rich w/ space to breathe & live!! 🎳 Your pups are so cute!! 🐾🐾😊🐾🐾
❤️ your authenticity, so brave x
I love your giggle/laugh. You are amazing
Thank you. Thank you for sharing.
Love the long narrative. I use it as my body double.
High five ✋🏻 That is a massive number of decisions and a LOT of work. You must be so proud of yourself every time you go into that room.
So inspiring and cool you got that mountain under control and that's such a true friend joining you 🙂✨✨
I love listening to A Slob Comes Clean podcast and RUclips videos when I declutter and clean. It keeps me on task.
Couple of suggestions:
Don't count the number of items due to be decluttered ie in that box.
I find that I now am so used to it, I activity ask myself is there anything I need to take to the bathroom 😁
Re the length, my preferred one would be around 20 min, or I might have to wait for the weekend to watch it.
You did absolutely astonishing decluttering! Oh my gosh, wow!
I really loved how you showed all the recycling, garbage and donation boxes afterwards!
See you next time! ❤
💕🌸🌸💕
So proud of you. I struggle with clutter as well and have health issues. I so understand this journey and am rooting for you! ❤
You did it! Glad to see you back! Give yourself some grace. Do more shorter videos. Space them out over time.
I was going to say the same. Don't overwelm yourself😊
You're doing so well ! Keep at it and enjoy the journey
So excited to see a sofa under the mountain by day 3 😂
Wow!! That was a huge accomplishment. Enjoy the fruits of your labor and continue making your house a comfortable home.
In Australia we can up a NO JUNK MAIL sign on the house box. Thats enough to stop delivery
Very impressive! I am enjoying listening to your voiceovers. You're a good narrator of what's going on.
Thank you so much!
Enjoyed from Texas! Thank you friend for helping! So proud of your progress! Beautiful loveseat!
Myra Im really happy for you!
@@brigittamrs3805 that's what I'm doing as well. Just the essentials.
@@eastonmartin5342 ooh I will definitely check it out. I don't have much paper clutter at home because I have gone paperless so I just try to keep it from coming in. Work is a whole other issue though
I am so impressed by you! I hope you are proud of yourself. 👏👏👏
