    I know it's been 2 years but to all those complaining about this not being a "how to" video, yes it is, shows you how to schedule a repair visit 😂. If he gave detailed instructions on how to do this, he'd be putting himself out of business 😂.
    Great video btw!

    This is really sad. I've had the same model since Christmas 2014, still runs quietly, still very clean, and never overheats. However, I admit I've never opened it up and cleaned it up inside. I've definitely kept the outside clean though.

    • @autolife2785
      @autolife2785 Год назад

      @shno_deela6986 I'm really tempted to open it up and clean it too. I'm just reluctant of the headache it comes with. I took apart a fat PS3 years ago and putting it all back together was very annoying. I'm just afraid with something like the Xbox One, I may struggle getting it put back together again correctly

    • @autolife2785
      @autolife2785 Год назад

      @16driver16 so I take it you've opened it up before and cleaned it then. Lemme ask you this, how much of a headache was it? Because THATS ultimately what I'm reluctant of. And then potentially messing it up in the process. That's why I don't bother to touch it

    • @shno_deela6986
      @shno_deela6986 Год назад +2

      @@autolife2785 it was pretty easy to put back together imo it was just the clips in the front peice that gave me a hard time where the front peice was clipped in but it was lifted up a bit. And there is a ribbon cable you can tear by accident. The heat sync on mine was surprisingly clean though and I live in a dusty environment

  • @Dark5525
    @Dark5525 2 года назад +13

    Did you intentionally not show the complete opening of the computer as you didn't detach the ribbon from the front or on camera at least you didn't, if someone were to follow you vid there likly to break there computer...

    What PSI do you use for the compressor?

    • @xFixRepairsUK
      @xFixRepairsUK  2 года назад +3

      It's between 20-30 psi also Makes sure you don't blow the fan in the opposite direction to which it normally travels, this is bad for the motor unless it is designed to operate in each direction.

      @mr2jz4life73 I'm just a little reluctant after opening my first PS3 a couple years ago that I got used off ebay. I opened it up to replace the thermal paste and capacitors after it got the Yellow Light of Death. It still didn't fix it. I just ended up getting another fat PS3 that isn't backwards compatible. I'm reluctant about going through the hassle of opening a console again with my Xbox One. It still runs fine, but I definitely can tell it's a little noisy compared to how it was day one, and it tends to turn itself on randomly on its own. I just leave it unplugged when not playing it

      Very strange to me. I've got 4 consoles:
      Xbox One (owned since Christmas 2014)
      Xbox 360 (owned since Christmas 2012)
      PS2 (owned since Christmas 2005)
      PS3 Fat (got it used in October 2022, and fully cleaned the exterior to look like new)
      All my consoles look the way they did when I first got them, so most people out there simply just don't take care of their consoles; it's not that hard.
