As an artist, I find I appreciate the strangest things about anything, really, but this game showed me the side of me I never knew. This game is deep, the artwork is fantastic, the setting and environment is unique, the soundtrack beautiful. This game is a masterpiece all around.

I loved play games and animating stuff well before Transistor, but after playing the game it really changed how I looked at what I once thought were just fun hobbies for myself.

I played it when it first came out - steam sale was on last weekend and I bought it for my cousin, when he was away I replayed it and felt all of the emotions and excitement when I first play it. Great game, one of the best indie games out there along with Bastion (from SuperGiant Games) you can possibly find. I'd highly recommend buying even at its full price

DaVeganZombie Idk. Bastion was hands-down a better experience than most triple-A titles. "Just" indie awards seems a bit lost on a company that has done so well.
While I'm still waiting for release and reviews before buying, what little has been revealed up till now looks extremely well done.

This game has the saddest story ever! I loved the game play and the story. I like the way it kept me in suspense. And I LOVE the music. I am so glad this is a thing.

Great game, i recommend anyone who is willing to take their time to understand the story of this game. It's not like other games where the story is fed to you, in this game you have to make your own understanding and stuff which is fun! Also, a movie of this game will be awesome! The game itself feels like a movie so yeah.. Thanks Supergiant for making Transistor :D

You *have* to at least start Recursion (the game+ mode) to fully understand what's *actually* going on.
I won't spoil too much, but Recursion is more than just the title of that game+ mode. . .

I have to say it, this game has one of the best, if not *the* best, anti-rage mechanics for its trials I have ever experienced- some pretty chill strumming on miniature guitars.
I just want to say that, much like Bastion, Transistor is a phenomenal game and already one of the best games I have played this year. This game is absolutely gorgeous, the sound design and music are amazing, basically everything about this game is fantastic.

Bastion is one of my favorite games of the seventh generation and this game looks all sorts of awesome. Super happy that Super Giant are making these awesome games!

Unfortunately, you never will until Microsoft gets rid of the stupid "Parity Clause". With Phil Spencer in charge, they just might. Here's hoping, because as many people should be able to enjoy this game as possible. Until then, just get it on PC, that's what I'm doing as I don't have a PS4 yet.

***** It's nice to have options. Some people (like me) prefer the way a console game "feels". You can just chill on the couch and play, its super nice.
Xei Four Steam let's you hook a laptop up to your TV with a controller. It's very simple and works well.
So, I have a theory, and if anyone from supergiant reads this please consider the possibility of it being a viable story. What if transistor and bastion were part of the same universe? What if when the Kid reset the Bastion it created a new calamity but this time instead of wasteland monsters it affected some other area. Or the calamity evolved in some sort of way. This time Red also resets the world. Maybe the next game could be about a new character finally destroying the paradox and saving humanity.. This all works except for the fact the cloudbank is in the electronic cloud... Thanks supergiant

So goddamn hyped. Bastion was my first Steam game and it was amazing. Supergiant Games never left my radar after finishing it so I've been waiting for this. Day 1 purchase.

Alf Stewart If the PS3 is any indication (and it is), that will not always be the case. Sure PC is superior, but Sony gets some god-tier exclusives.

How so this game isn't going to make anyone decide which to buy. The only reason I don't own both a ps4 and xbone is because ps4 has no good exclusives that aren't already on pc. Also my 3 year old $400 laptop can run this game.

This game is the best thing I've played all year.
And the narration is the absolute best. 10/10 would impersonate again every time I have the chance.

Supergiant Games is like the western version of Vanillaware, and has its beautiful artstyle, great music, and Interesting gameplay

I remember watching this for the first time at 13 and getting chills. Unfortunately I couldn't play it on my first gen ipad mini and I was so bummed. Years later still get chills and now nostalgia! Loved this game.

So well done. This looks like a proper followup to the excellent bastion.
The logo worn by the grey haired villain guy is clearly another depiction of a transistor. Look at the bottom of the badge and you can see the three lines: the emitter, the collector, and the base. The two lines converging are also seen in the schematic view of a transistor. The fact that there is a Source "cell" on one line means that the transistor weapon either amplifies the Source, or maybe uses Source to amplify the other input (presumably human life).
Having seen at least a couple different trailers, I confess that I still have absolutely no idea what this is about. Am I the only one?
