I took notes from this episode when I first watched it. This morning, 12/13/2023, while going through my work notes from 4/6/2023 I ran across her quote, and it really blessed me. " When you hold the righteous course long-term, God will erase the memory of your bad choices and your misbehavior from the minds of those you’ve offended, and He will rewrite your resume." I'm going to keep coming back to this episode...so many gems!

She brought an entire new perspective to being a business woman/Pastor and dating. I dated a business owner and period point blank she was married to her business and I communicated this to her. I didn't feel like I had a place in her life, almost inadequate. Listening to the pastor say how she's able to be a leader at church or for the church and can also submit to the vision of the home, WOW! Independence should never mean we can't practice humility towards one another, which in itself is submission❤

I had a to make a decision to either put my trust in getting child support or put my trust in God. Every since I put my trust in God, he has provided in ways then I can count. My mother was also one of their Kindergarten teachers. In 2000 I went to the very 1st Encounter and went every year until I graduated high school. My step-father use to be one of their gospel DJ's.

I love Dr. I!! I don’t know if folks understand how much of a powerhouse she is. Spiritual Encounter back in the day was fye! 🔥I mean… I legit was trying to find footage of it a few months ago on RUclips lol. Thousands of teens would come from all over the US to attend (for free). Dr. I had a show that would showcase christian r&b/hip hop videos on Saturdays that came on a local tv station in HTX. I could go on and on about how ahead of time her family was when it came to reaching young people in the early 2000s.
I’m so happy to see her growth and accepting the call to senior pastoralship. She’s always been down to earth, powerful and a fly girl (like her Mom). Thanks for having her on the podcast. 💛💛

Love this interview ...I was a close childhood friend of her father’s older sister Brenda ...When her father was a child I can remember him on the front porch of a place called Taylor’s Court...the street
was shaped like the letter L and his family lived at the top of the L We lived at the bottom of the L second house from the end... HE LIKE myself KNEW his destiny at a young age when was about three years old he would stand on the porch and preach he loved preaching as a child...
I loved interacting Decorating and looking at the clouds searching for God... asking questions of who am I ?
I loved that neighborhood so much I can still tell you the names
of 80% of the people in that small area..We lost our home and that horrible lost made me the person that I am today ...I learn to pray for what I wanted at the age of 10...
I have been married this year 54 years and am on a journey to write about after this month is passed ...I may be getting in touch with you.....I will reach out to you to help heal others .Losing our only son and four other family members in a 5 year span brought depression to my soulmate and has tested our marriage and the way we are coming to a conclusion and will be all for the better good.

I experienced the exact same thing in regards to child support. Jehovah Jireh is my Source! Even getting married after having a child while in college because that’s what I was “supposed to do”. Now, I have been divorced for almost 9 years, renewed in mind and Spirit and I’m just blessed. There has been so much wisdom and understanding gained just getting under God’s wing, casting my cares on the Christ who dwells in me and walking, talking and listening to Holy Spirit all day (and night). This is my joy, excitement and reassurance in this life. Thank you for sharing your story. ♥️🙌🏽 The more I hear people and guests share openly, the more reassurance it gives me that it is okay for me to do the same.

THIS IS SOOOO GOOD!! Lateras, could you also interview Pastor Kimberly Ray and Lady Joy Turner- Hill. Phenomenal women leaders who trusted God completely yet found themselves marred in the Potter’s hands.

Here is another one…..I felt every….. bit of Irishea’s story. From to her divorce, to the not receiving child support, that one right there… you don’t need it, but it’s just that extra cushion. Man when I tell you God told me the same thing. He was like I got you. So if we don’t see it is okay, to describing her Future husband and how they were going to add to each other. As you all were talking it took me back to each spoken word that I have spoken about. From hearing that still small voice talking to you, to preparing the mate that he has prepared for you and only you. Whoever he has for will see you. 🔥🔥🔥🔥I got it.

I’ve heard a lot of women speak on dating/singleness/relationships but there’s something about her! She has literally put my feelings into words!!!
