- While I was livestreaming the other day, I watched Children Under The House by Vintage Eight and I can confidently say that it is the absolute best analog horror series that I've ever seen. Everything from the presentation to the writing to the music was downright incredible. This is my reaction to the series from the stream but edited down to remove some of the unnecessary bits. This was really cool and unnerving! I have a con though: the VA, though wasn't the worst thing in the world but, it definitely sounded like she was just reading off a script and not actually "acting" it kind of took me out of some parts... but besides that, this was really nice!
Vintage 8 is one of my favorite analog horror channels! I got to be in one of their videos a while back which was a real honor. I hope more people start to appreciate their work soon

im a big ol scaredy cat so i just scroll down until i cant see the video so i dont see the imagery, and it really amplifies how genuinely unsettling and bone chilling the audio is. its beautiful

Seems the only question left is who is the person that bought the repossessed locker? Seems obvious that the locker was the therapist's (srry forgot her name) but I wonder who the guy is found the tapes is it john? Probably not since John is probably around the same age is the therapist. Maybe even Jess herself though I don't think we ever know when the person finds the tapes so Jess could be dead of old age for all we know at this point. Damn this was an amazing story!
Just noticed while rewatching that part to find information on the dude that does find the tapes at 2:05 if you go frame by frame the text kinda just.. shifts? I'll see if this is anywhere else.
Edit: I don't think it happens anywhere else atleast not in the intro though I could be wrong ngl I thought it was a like one frame thing where the text changed for some secret but seems to just be an effect!

Can you please check out 'the invasion of godzilla'? It's about godzilla attack US in 1993. But the story starts after godzilla came back to sea leaving his radiation that makes every living creature mutate into zombie like creature. And chunk of his flesh start to grow and become another godzilla. It's an interesting take on godzilla analog horror besides the man in the suit and suitmation trials
1:46:01 I'm sorry, did the ghost children actually reveal themselves visible to everyone in the house!? If so, this story shouldn't have ended the way it did, just putting it bluntly. I mean had this happened in real life, the family, the Clarks, and Julia should've all been dead with no trace of anyone ever being there.
Was Jess's spirit temporarily removed from her body? Was she actually a ghost with the other children as the final confrontation was going on? Is that why she could still recall all the things despite being unconscious? How come she was able to draw the devil like that?
If I were John and if I found all of these tapes, I think I would actually have burned them or bury them deep underground somewhere so that nobody can find them and witness this story.
But either way, maybe it was a good thing no one had consulted a priest or if paranormal investigators got involved, because then this story would've (and should've) already been all over the news in this universe. But if I were John, I wouldn't write the book and try to move on to something else.
Have you seen The Mario ARG I think its good maybe check it out (I'm only asking this because I am a pussy to look at scary stuff myself lol)
