Never seen Robocop 3, but what killed Robocop 2 for me was having him disassembled in the beginning. That made him pathetic, he lost, yet they showed mercy, so all the killing he does after is worse than the humanity they showed him. I remember watching it as a 15 year old, and I've never watched it again, I still think I'm right about that story mistake.
