Ace video Al, you're a very naturally confident person which makes for good easy viewing! Will follow you now, and you're always welcome back to Silksworth with or without a camera! (I was the timekeeper, thankfully I didn't feature)
Loved this one as it’s my home town and old training ground for Sunderland Harriers!! Many a run around that lake and hills🤣 and not forgetting the ski slope 🤣🤣
Great video. Thanks Al. Ah Sunderland, as I always tell my GCSE students, Sunderland, home of England's first cholera outbreak! Strangely you never see that mentioned on the 'Welcome to Sunderland' road sign!?!
Ha, of a collaboration?! I think it’s more that I’ve always liked that varsity style so was drawn to Tracksmith’s clothing. Good spot though, maybe my merch will have a vintage / classy vibe too…

Thanks Paul! I’m sure you’d have been brilliant on camera though! See you again soon.

Haha, when I watched it back I thought… oh dear! I meant subscribers! Appreciate it though Paul, thanks mate!

Ah, brilliant! A bit of nostalgia for you! It must be unique as parkrun destinations go?!
Class vid cheers Al. Doing this run in the near future for first time. Not looking forward to that hill at the finish mind haha. Well done!
My pleasure! Thanks for watching! The hill was bigger than I expected after having ran down it. It’s a long, old undulating number!
Awesome job mate, if I ever get a Saturday off, I might have to do a parkrun
Thanks Jono! You know me, I’d thoroughly recommend them! Keep up the hard graft though mate!
Great achievement Al 1000 subscribers .
Thanks Paul!
Nice work again Al! I want to get out and run Silksworth v soon.
Thanks Jack! It was a fun and relatively fast course… subject to that big hill at the end of course!

Is that true?! I had no idea. Quick google and I see that lead to the opening of Mowbray Park! Who knew. Thanks as always Phil!
@@AlPepperRuns I believe that's correct in 1831. I don't think publicising it would act as much of a tourist boost though.
Ok, where was A Tribe of Toffs in that list???!!!! Greatest band ever to come out of Sunderland!
I genuinely don’t know them! Should I know them?! Ha, let me do some research and I’ll get back to you!
@@AlPepperRuns can’t believe it. John Kettley (Is A Weatherman!)
Was certainly a misty one that one. Let’s hope for sunshine on the next one, wherever that is 🤞
Haha, I did warn people it might be a grey episode! The atmospheric colour palette of a northern winter!
Another enjoyable video, so great work on that and getting to 1K in subscribers - top man!
Thanks mate! Parkruns are great fun but I’m looking forward to events starting up again soon too!
Yes we like merch lol👍
Haha, not long now hopefully!
Beautiful video Al and super excited about the merch! 👌Gotta ask where Wayne was tho, unusual not to see him! 🤣
Thanks Nic! Haha, he was up in Scotland as far as I know! Running some two day ultra marathon event!
Congrats on the 1000 subs brother.
Can’t wait for the Merch!
Thanks Jamesy! Won’t be long now!
Great run out. Congratulations on the 1000 subscribers.
Thanks as always mate! Onwards and upwards hopefully!
Love the logo 🤘
Cheers Darren! Coming to a T-shirt near you soon!
We need this merch! And I can't help but notice how similar your logo is to the Tracksmith font... could this be a hint?
