COLT! Cool truck buddy, your helper is pretty handsome too!
You got that right!
Colt, you are going to get a lifetime of joy from this truck when you are done. Going through each system before you put the truck in service is the right way to approach these beasts.
That's the plan! At the point it is at, it's serviceable. It's driving really well for what it is. Once I get the CTIS 100% I will be really happy.
I love that RAM phone mount
It works way better than I expected. My only complaint is you can't remove your phone with one hand from it.
New shaft looks good n/h
Thanks brother! Haha
GROOVY MUSIC!
I have good taste.
Very nice.
Thank you
Helpful video
Glad you think so!
Nice work, Colt. Yeah, the camera can be a big distractor... I know what you are talking about when say, "Make sure to remove all the zerk fittings first!" ...yeah, I crushed a few in my day. Sucks to get those back out, too! Hey, did you ever think about ditching the defog vent deflector for a flat piece of bar stock or sheet metal? For maximum visibility, just put a 2" wide fat bar between the dash and window... leave a 1/4" - 3/8" gap... work great and commands visibility! Thanks brother for taking the time to make videos. I certainly appreciate it.
It was your video that I learned it from, haha. I did think about ditching it but I have it & it works... just a little wobbly. I have been stewing over a few simple fixes for it but it's a low priority for me now. Finishing the CTIS next is the big one. I'm really close...
Great Video Colt. Very informative!
I try to make them that way. :)
Excelente video. Gracias por compartir. Ese lmtv va a estar em venta al final del trabajo? Desde ya muchas gracias
11:43 You're going to put a turret on it!?!!
That is my plan. Once the truck is near 100%, I will be looking for the M66 to mount up there. Then, build/buy an appropriate firearm to mount.
That Craftsman ratchet is going to hurt you. Sooner or later.
I have had it close to 20 years. I'm sure it is due to break.
Why did you get them balanced? Is it a hidden grenade?
If you are talking about the drive shafts... yes, a lot of these trucks had improperly balanced shafts if them that cause catastrophic failures. I think mine were okay, but, for the few hundred dollars & knowing 100% that everything on them was okay, it was worth it for me.
