I don't say this enough in the comments, but the way you lay out all the tools and parts you use is extremely helpful. Knowing if i have the tools required before I start the project takes a lot of the stress out of it. I just wanted to thank you for that.
I figured it was helpful. I always want to know what I need first if I can too!
Good stuff. I also received some Super Clean... I like that the Marketing Department at that company is recognizing the FMTV community. I wish that a break free brand would do the same thing!
Yeah, definitely cool. I got a few boxes from them of stuff to try. Impressed!
You can get LED bulbs for the 2721 OEM. Brighter and require polarity to function, but they won’t burn out or melt the switch housings. They also don’t require the color bulb caps.
I figured I would try LED if they ever burn out again. Was worried about how well they would dim. The bulbs didn't melt the switch as I initially thought, that's why I put the little note at the end of the video. I have some new switches and they no longer use the color caps on the bulbs, they have a nicer plastic insert behind the lens the acts as a diffuser so you don't need to worry about that anymore.
To stop the vibration noise from the back panel, install peel and stick 1/8 inch weather stripping on a grid pattern. The denser black stuff works best.
I thought about that but it would make it a but harder to remove. Also, the metal gets so hot in the south Texas sun the adhesive always seems to melt off.
Love your channel - very informative
Thank you!

Hi, I've replaced both parking lights with new ones, but they still don't work! Any ideas on how to fix it? 🤔💡
Could be many things. Most issues on these trucks come from bad grounds.
Hard to tell but looks like front driveshaft is off a spline on phasing.
I have it together how the driveshaft shop gave it back to me & no crazy vibration when driving. Not sure how else I could tell.
